This episode is a little different... no fancy building, just some good vibes (and maybe a bit of nostalgia for the early days of Minecraft...) Hope you enjoy! Leave your ideas for the village name here!
You should name the village Bisquedale. Bisque is a type of thick soup that contains shellfish, which is great for a village that fishes. Dale is a suffix meaning that it's in a valley, and with all the mountains around that feels appropriate.
i just want to say that your videos remind me so much of goodtimeswithscar’s old (7 years ago jeez) “super awesome” minecraft series. just chill building and minecrafting. i love it! its really nice to just sit down and watch a lets play series again!💗
I have found your channel by an accident, but I'm really glad that it happened. It's amazing to see that some people are still enjoying minecraft in slow way, not rushing and doing big and fancy structures. I love that you want to find in yourself and us joy to play this game. You show that even if game has many many years it is still fun and amazing. I love your energy in every video, that you are enjoying even small details that you found or made. I don't know if you will see it but thank you for doing what you do, and i can't wait for more ❤🙏 Have a nice day
Same with me I was working on a project and I found this video all of a sudden and clicked on it and I have been attached to the series since and motivated me to play Minecraft again
Hey SoupSoup, thanks for keeping your channel family friendly, and not swearing in your videos. It's honestly so refreshing along with the chill vibes that your videos bring. So, thank you!
I was rewatching an old series that I used to love, and realizing that I can only watch it when my toddler is asleep, because I don't want her picking up the language they were using. It's really nice to have something "safe" to watch while she's around.
Been enjoying this series since I found it a few days ago, so refreshing to see someone who doesn’t immediately set up 15 auto farms and takes their time and enjoys the game. Also as for the village’s name how about “ Soup Group City”
again, I can't stress enough just how much you have inspired me. I have reconnected with the joy I once had when playing minecraft, and now it feels like I can slowly develop the world around me instead of optimizing every single thing around me to beat the game into the ground.
Hey SoupSoup, wanted to say your series has been such a breath of fresh air when it come to Minecraft content and honestly any let’s play. It’s really inspiring in terms of wanting to play Minecraft how I used to and what I’d want to do content wise at some point. So thank you and I look forward to many more of your episodes and see what other MC Content you branch off to! Also build suggestion, I see you’ve got a ravine around your front lawn if your base, perhaps build something inside of the ravine? Maybe somehow connected to your base somehow? Haven’t really seen many people build inside ravines before so I’d love to see your take on it!
Hi SoupSoup! I stumbled upon your channel on accident just yesterday, and I'm blown away. Minecraft has been a significant part of my life since I was little. About a year ago, though, I found myself in a bit of a gaming rut. The game that had been a safe haven for me during challenging times, and literally shaped me to who I am today, lost its beauty. Because of all the 'mega-base, mega-farm, challenge' content, it became something intimidating: a place where I felt the constant pressure to maximize every moment, as if my time spent in the game needed to be "productive." It was no longer about the joy of exploration and having fun. Instead, it wasabout performance and progress. The game that had shaped my happiest moments started feeling like a chore. It really sucked to lose that 'homey' feeling of the game. But your video's make me feel so nostalgic. They gave me that warm feeling again. So thank you for making these videos. You deserve every viewer. And hell of a lot more than that. Looking forward to seeing how this series will turn out and what awesome stuff you're going to create! But, for now, as you would say, let's just enjoy the journey ;)
Videos like this not only give me ideas for my own worlds/realms but also gives me comfort that I don’t need to grind out for farms and have to immediately start working on killing the ender dragon. I’m able to go at my own pace and it’s nice seeing others do the same. I’d like to enjoy my time playing the game and not feel forced
Man i don't want this series to ever end. i've lost my interest in minecraft a while ago but after discovering you i wanna start playing again. I forget to just play the way i wanna play. Keep up the excellent content!!! I look forward to every new episode.
In reposting this from last video since I posted it so late. This is the best thing on RUclips. . As someone who's played Minecraft for years and years it's dang refreshing. Hope it continues for a long time and more success comes your way man. Question of the day for me. What things apart from this series are you really passionate about and what got you into them?
Quote of the episode: "I'm full of coffee and pastries..." 3:31 Btw, you should know you have a really nice voice! It also always sounds like you're smiling.
Raids are some of my favorite parts of minecraft, as someone who isn't very good the the combat in the game I feel it to be a bit of a challenge to defend a village and I LOVE IT!!!
hey soupsoup!! in Poland's mountains we have also have -22 in fahrenhait hah (if i counted right) and I saw your new video just after my english final exam and you have made my day so much better! thank you for posting those videos, they are so relaxing and funny, I saw someone said that they're ,,the relaxation they never knew they needed" and i feel the same way!! Youre amazing soupsoup and of course we would like to see more of your ideas here! cant wait for the next episode!!
I've been watching from the start and I have to say this style that you have done keeps reminding me about my childhood like stampy, Iballistic squid and DanTDM. I just want to say thanks and keep up the excellent work. I also can't wait to see how this channel and yourself evolve and wish you the best.
Village name: Oundle, it's a nice little cozy name just like this series! its also a little place in England side country where I used to live. If you named this place after the town I could never thank you enough.
Upgrading the villages without completely destroying it is something you don’t see anymore, Edit: also, you should put some plants or a small S for SoupSoup
For above the doorway, I have a couple of ideas: -A library/sitting room -A small indoor garden with some planter boxes (You could even put saplings in them because they won’t grow if there isn’t enough space) -Put up a wall of glass and make a tank for Gil
Above the doorway you can put a small little table with two chairs if you're going for looks, but if you're going for the use of that space then maybe a few essential items can be placed in a barrel as you're heading out so you don't forget it whilst getting lost. Love your content
My brother, sister and I all think it could be cool if you put Gill above your door, it might look weird it might not, but keeping Gill in a bucket can't be too fun for him, no room to stretch
Hi SoupSoup You are a great RUclipsr. Stumbled upon your channel the other day. For next episode could you answer my question of what your favorite Minecraft block is.
Finally a new episode ❤.Ngl I checked your channel more than 5 times only to check if you uploaded any new videos...I have seen and followed a hundred's of Minecraft RUclipsrs and none of them made me feel nostalgic like u did..Your video made me relive the Minecraft life once again and Thankfully it convinced me to return to Minecraft...I cant stop myself from enjoying Minecraft again..And hoping to see the next episode soon...Tons of love keep uploading ❤❤❤ Edit : Once again your voiceover is soothing made me watch it again and again😊
You roaming around in between the saplings was making my heart race a bit. It could grow and trap you inside. It happened to ZombieCleo in the Life series. It's happened to me in a Skyblock world I was in. It's startling. hehehe
Hey man, found your series today and this is really great stuff. Enjoy it because I think these will be the most fun times as a youtuber. Keep making great content 😁
I absolutely love your videos, such a cool concept of slowing down life. Any recommendation of other channels like yours? Since you asked about me, I got into med school yesterday!! I'm so happy
The og mc legend is back! I found this channel randomly and now I’m attached i miss these little letsplays feels like a og letsplay channel I think all of us a Veiwers would love to see you keep going on this humble world
This episode was a great one it also inspired me to start my own survival series.. For the village I have a name for it you can call it: old towne Or: Hometown haven Cause it reminds me of the days we used to set up our base in the village
I think u should furnish ur house more it doesn't feel quite cozy u know like add more carpet, furniture, make furnace room, use basement to hold your wheat in haybail, add some cheat there and outside house grow trees and make garden and pond, use ur farm house to store llama, camel, and add some irregular terrain around house so it doesn't look unnatural like add dirt around, stone boulder, make small forest what I mean is don't build by flattening the surface just make on how terrain is don't flat it out it kinda takes natural looks of it. I KNOW IT'S ESSAY AND YOU'LL NOT READ IT BUT THAT'S OK
Im so happy to have had one of your videos randomly recommended to me, it inspired me to pick again my favourite game of all time on my phone and i got an incredible world full of opportunities! Its sad that i dont have the same friends or the same amount of time i used to have to play Minecraft, but its great to see that it still brings me joy no matter what. Thank you so much for this! As for my question for next video, i wanted to know: what is your favourite biome to work with/build around? As in what biome sparks your creativity and brings you joy to spend time on the most?
When you’re building in Minecraft’s old style, try using cobble instead of smoother blocks like stone bricks. Cobble serves as a contrast breaks up the monotonous pattern you have with the oak planks, and it’s partially why you weren’t too happy with your builds: the sections somewhat blended together. Best of luck!
Im so glad i found your channel. The relaxed style of editing and gameplay just reminds me of classic 2016 minecraft lets plays. You inspired and motivated to get back in the game again, and take things slow, enjoying all the beautiful aspects that make a Minecraft world
Hey SoupSoup, :) For the doorbell, I would experiment with different blocks. Hay sounds like a banjo and clay sounds like a flute! Anyways, enjoy. Thanks! Again, hopefully this gets to you. I have a question too! What youtubers inspired you to make this series and content as a whole? Thanks a lot :) (Idea: Doorbell for the barn but a small banjo riff plays)
CQOTD: What was your main inspiration to start a RUclips channel? Was it a dream as a kid or did someone inspire you? P.S. I'm loving the video, they are so soothing :D
hey soupsoup! i just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to start a new world on my switch! also keep the good content up! P.S your videos help me when i build my stuff in Minecraft
I love how you take some from Dallas like the no mending rule and house expension but you still have your every own style ! I love the music you put in the background (especially when you were doing the question of the day) and the montage is good ! From a French!
Congrats for 10k subs your channel is growing fast I feel like it would be nice if you did some videos explaining simple minecraft building cause your builds are great and u could definitely use your tips
Hey soup soup! Thanks for making this series! It’s helped me get out a depressed time of my life, everything about it is so calming. I have an idea for the village! How about souptopia or town town! I’m not very creative😂
Congrats on 10k subs! I'm really enjoying this series. And yes, the blizzard brought me -40 degree temps and 14 inches of snow. Thankfully never lost my internet. Also, you should improve the fishing docks in the village! I love making my fishing docks these big fancy docks with cozy lighting and roofs for nighttime and rainy fishing. Minecraft fishing rules.
Yeah, I'm glad the crazy weather is over, so things can get back on track! And 14 inches of snow is a lot, I didn't lose internet either but no hot water for a few days!
I love these videos, they have inspired me to make a survival world and just build like I used to and not live up to anyone else's expectations, it's actually fun again!!
Been stuck inside for almost two weeks due to the weather and will probably start a minecraft world like you are right now and play through my teenage into adult years
I think if you did a Tips And Tricks series or Build Tutorials is a great idea, you are very skilled in building and would be a great set of videos to watch!
Hello there SoupSoup, i am really enjoying your series and you even inspired me on creating a more laid back Minecraft world and i must say, i've been enjoying the game a lot more playing that way lol I had a question, since you already died twice on this episode, do you have any plans about doing anything with it? Maybe building a memorial or a graveyard somewhere in your world, maybe even showcasing an object or piece of equipment you were holding when you died. In my world i've started building a mausoleum and a graveyard, placing chests under the tombstones and filling them with a few items before burying them, i've even got to "bury myself" a few times afer i end up dying, so maybe you could do something like that in the future lol Keep on the good work man!! I'm loving your series! We need more Let's Players like you who embrace the more classic eras of Minecraft in their videos lol
3:25 I was watching temperature yesterday on world map online and was surprised to see temp. Of usa it was -20°C . Here I care about 8°C . I tried finding least tem. And was of -45°C near North Russia.
i think u could name the village Etheria. I once read a minecraft book that talked about a villager becoming a warrior and the great village in that book (where every player met and bought stuff) was called Etheria. This actally brings me so many memories lol ❤
Hey soupsoup i just wanted to say that i have been loving your series and it got me back into minecraft and inspired me to try to make my ugly builds better lol Also please name the village The Soup District
A handy tip, at least for late ish game, keep a sword, food, axe, shovel, crafting table, water bucket, ender chest, boat, pickaxe and firework rockets at all times. I keep the bow, hoe and fortune pick in a shulker in my ender chest. I think those are all the things one would need, and you won’t have to punch wood with diamond tools
Question for next episode : Are you making minecraft youtube videos just for fun or you want to become a full time minecraft youtuber? (Please pick meeeeeeeeeeeee) Btw love your unique content style, I am a big fan...
This episode is a little different... no fancy building, just some good vibes (and maybe a bit of nostalgia for the early days of Minecraft...) Hope you enjoy! Leave your ideas for the village name here!
1. Souptopia
2. Axolotl Haven
3. Horse Haven
4. Gilshire
5. Brothburg
6. Equine Meadows
7. AxoVillage
8. Soupshire
9. Horsington
10. Gil's Grove
Have been wating forever for this post!
Your vids are amazing keep up the great work!
Name for the Village: HomeHome
how about "Soupsoupville"/"Soupville" for the village name?
1 Creekside Haven
2 Stonegate
3 Granite Grove
4 Oakhaven
5 Cobblestone Commons
I like 2 the most!
You should name the village Bisquedale. Bisque is a type of thick soup that contains shellfish, which is great for a village that fishes. Dale is a suffix meaning that it's in a valley, and with all the mountains around that feels appropriate.
I think this is a great suggestion
this name sounds good and makes good sense. I think he should use this name
Great idea! It kinda sounds goblin-y which is cool
So unique and smart 😵💫
I wouldn’t have thought of that 🥲
This is a great name!! :3
Fish tank for gill above the stairs! That way you can see him every time you leave the house :)
Awwww! I love that idea ❤:)
Great series! So touching how you “gave back” to the village and then subjected them to a raid.
Hahaha, well when you put it like that… 😅
i just want to say that your videos remind me so much of goodtimeswithscar’s old (7 years ago jeez) “super awesome” minecraft series. just chill building and minecrafting. i love it! its really nice to just sit down and watch a lets play series again!💗
Oh my goodness as a midwestern the blizzard is absolutely insane we haven’t had much snow but constant negative temperatures days.
Yep, it’s brutal! Hopefully you’re staying warm 🥶
I’m so glad to see this guy grow, it’s nice to see someone with this laid back style that was lost on the RUclips scene gain popularity.
I love how Soup actually works to connect with his community. It’s so refreshing when someone tries to follow suggestions.
I don't know if you will see it but thank you for doing what you do, and i can't wait for more ❤🙏
Have a nice day
I m found this channel by suddenly I think that is best😊😊
Yeah same, his short was on my shorts page and I’m like “this looks good”
Me too. I am also really glad
I searched up how to make vegetable soup and this guy showed up
Same with me I was working on a project and I found this video all of a sudden and clicked on it and I have been attached to the series since and motivated me to play Minecraft again
Hey SoupSoup, thanks for keeping your channel family friendly, and not swearing in your videos. It's honestly so refreshing along with the chill vibes that your videos bring. So, thank you!
I love that about these videos
I was rewatching an old series that I used to love, and realizing that I can only watch it when my toddler is asleep, because I don't want her picking up the language they were using. It's really nice to have something "safe" to watch while she's around.
villager build style goes hard RIP OG style villager houses
Question of the day- who/what inspires you?
Been enjoying this series since I found it a few days ago, so refreshing to see someone who doesn’t immediately set up 15 auto farms and takes their time and enjoys the game. Also as for the village’s name how about “ Soup Group City”
What are some features you'd like to see added to vanilla Minecraft? Such as, Blocks, Mobs, and Tools and Armor.
again, I can't stress enough just how much you have inspired me.
Thanks for sharing! You have a great way with words. So glad you enjoy the videos!
or TownTown :D
Videos like this not only give me ideas for my own worlds/realms but also gives me comfort that I don’t need to grind out for farms and have to immediately start working on killing the ender dragon. I’m able to go at my own pace and it’s nice seeing others do the same. I’d like to enjoy my time playing the game and not feel forced
Maybe a decorative bookshelf desing for upper area of the door is kinda looks great... but you are the boss :33
Man i don't want this series to ever end. i've lost my interest in minecraft a while ago but after discovering you i wanna start playing again. I forget to just play the way i wanna play. Keep up the excellent content!!! I look forward to every new episode.
Anyone else also see Gill at 13:54? hmm devious little Gill.
Speaking about naming the sword you could name it blue justice!
The Bob Ross of Minecraft
Love tour serie, above the doorway you can put a sit for dogs you will be together with 🐶
I think a great name for the village would be "Totem Town" because u got your first totem there.
The idea of a secret armory with resources to defend the village it brought back good memories!
This series is really fun to watch. I really miss when survival was about playing Minecraft instead of building some massive farms
Quote of the episode: "I'm full of coffee and pastries..." 3:31
Btw, you should know you have a really nice voice!
10:58 can you name it 'DHOLAKPUR' it's name of a village in cartoon show named CHOOTA BHEEM which is most famous here in India .
I've been watching from the start and I have to say this style that you have done keeps reminding me about my childhood like stampy, Iballistic squid and DanTDM. I just want to say thanks and keep up the excellent work. I also can't wait to see how this channel and yourself evolve and wish you the best.
I bingewatched every episode yesterday. Can't wait to watch this one!
Village name: Oundle, it's a nice little cozy name just like this series! its also a little place in England side country where I used to live. If you named this place after the town I could never thank you enough.
13:09 nostalgic music starts . 😌 It makes this video best .
Upgrading the villages without completely destroying it is something you don’t see anymore,
Edit: also, you should put some plants or a small S for SoupSoup
Question of the day. What kind of things go through your mind when planning out a build?
For above the doorway, I have a couple of ideas:
-A library/sitting room
-A small indoor garden with some planter boxes (You could even put saplings in them because they won’t grow if there isn’t enough space)
-Put up a wall of glass and make a tank for Gil
Above the doorway you can put a small little table with two chairs if you're going for looks, but if you're going for the use of that space then maybe a few essential items can be placed in a barrel as you're heading out so you don't forget it whilst getting lost. Love your content
For the little nook on top of the door, you should put some bookshelves. Maybe you can use the new chiseled bookshelves up there!
I think Soup Town or New Soup City would be really good names!
Finally a new episode ❤.Ngl I checked your channel more than 5 times only to check if you uploaded any new videos...I have seen and followed a hundred's of Minecraft RUclipsrs and none of them made me feel nostalgic like u did..Your video made me relive the Minecraft life once again and Thankfully it convinced me to return to Minecraft...I cant stop myself from enjoying Minecraft again..And hoping to see the next episode soon...Tons of love keep uploading ❤❤❤
Edit : Once again your voiceover is soothing made me watch it again and again😊
You roaming around in between the saplings was making my heart race a bit. It could grow and trap you inside. It happened to ZombieCleo in the Life series. It's happened to me in a Skyblock world I was in. It's startling. hehehe
This series is so calming I even use this to fall asleep you've been helping me sleep thank u
Heya, idea for the next series: playing in an older version of the game, such as Beta 1.7.3!
Great series, i am definitely start my own world and play it slow like that, it looks like so much fun 👍
I'm glad to see you experiencing the game at your own pace and in your own way. That raid was rough, but you won in the end
Hey man, found your series today and this is really great stuff. Enjoy it because I think these will be the most fun times as a youtuber. Keep making great content 😁
It's soo refreshing watching you. Actually made me go start surival and play like the old days. Probably my favorite world. Thank you.
Hey soup, yes we would like to see more videos, that would be fun.
You could name the village “poodle” or something along those lines since it’s cozy, enjoyable and comfortable. My first dog was a poodle.
And also it kind of sounds like a “puddle” which I find interesting for some reason
This episode was great! I genuinely can’t wait for the next one! You should name the village golemville!
I absolutely love your videos, such a cool concept of slowing down life. Any recommendation of other channels like yours?
Since you asked about me, I got into med school yesterday!! I'm so happy
That's awesome, congrats!! You might enjoy Dallasmed65, Lowresbones, or maybe InfiniteDrift?
Great video as usual, amazing gameplay, fantastic editing, and sets the perfect mood.
This was best video. Loved it .
Thank you for one of the best series on RUclips
Absolute best new MC survival series! It's somehow slow and steady, and yet so much more satisfying! ❤️ Keep it up!
Congrats on 10k you deserve it man
The og mc legend is back! I found this channel randomly and now I’m attached i miss these little letsplays feels like a og letsplay channel I think all of us a Veiwers would love to see you keep going on this humble world
This episode was a great one it also inspired me to start my own survival series..
For the village I have a name for it you can call it: old towne
Or: Hometown haven
Cause it reminds me of the days we used to set up our base in the village
I would love to see more content from you! Just keep the chill calm vibe you give off and I'll be majorly satisfied!
This series is awesome and please if u can keep making the episodes long like this one 👍🏽
This channel is oozing with Dalasmed65 inspiration and I'm all for it. The Java version of the bedrock legend
You inspired and motivated to get back in the game again, and take things slow, enjoying all the beautiful aspects that make a Minecraft world
Hey SoupSoup, :)
For the doorbell, I would experiment with different blocks. Hay sounds like a banjo and clay sounds like a flute! Anyways, enjoy. Thanks!
Again, hopefully this gets to you.
I have a question too!
What youtubers inspired you to make this series and content as a whole?
Thanks a lot :)
(Idea: Doorbell for the barn but a small banjo riff plays)
Thank you for creating this absolute masterpiece of a series. It brings me back to when I was still just learning how to play the game.
love youre content man!! please make a castle!
CQOTD: What was your main inspiration to start a RUclips channel? Was it a dream as a kid or did someone inspire you?
P.S. I'm loving the video, they are so soothing :D
Maybe the village should be called phoenixville because after that raid, its population needs to grow from the ashes. Keep up the great content.
hey soupsoup!
i just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to start a new world on my switch!
also keep the good content up!
P.S your videos help me when i build my stuff in Minecraft
You should call the next shovel soups spoon because its a spoon for soup
Your videos are really amazing and entertaining bro i just wish u could upload more often also can u name the village soup? it would be really cool.
I love how you take some from Dallas like the no mending rule and house expension but you still have your every own style ! I love the music you put in the background (especially when you were doing the question of the day) and the montage is good ! From a French!
Question:Would u consider doing tutorials in your world?
Like maybe a tutorial of your base
Congrats for 10k subs your channel is growing fast
I feel like it would be nice if you did some videos explaining simple minecraft building cause your builds are great and u could definitely use your tips
It’s been a few years since I’ve actively tapped in to a Minecraft LP serious, thank you
Hey soup soup!
It would be cool if some of the other videos you want to make could be made in the same world, even if they’re not necessarily part of this series
I love these videos, they have inspired me to make a survival world and just build like I used to and not live up to anyone else's expectations, it's actually fun again!!
Congrats on 10k subscribers, I have a feeling that this series is going to get very popular and will definitely motivate others
Been stuck inside for almost two weeks due to the weather and will probably start a minecraft world like you are right now and play through my teenage into adult years
Name the village SoupTown! Also, could you do a world tour some time?
I think if you did a Tips And Tricks series or Build Tutorials is a great idea, you are very skilled in building and would be a great set of videos to watch!
Hello there SoupSoup, i am really enjoying your series and you even inspired me on creating a more laid back Minecraft world and i must say, i've been enjoying the game a lot more playing that way lol
I had a question, since you already died twice on this episode, do you have any plans about doing anything with it?
Maybe building a memorial or a graveyard somewhere in your world, maybe even showcasing an object or piece of equipment you were holding when you died.
In my world i've started building a mausoleum and a graveyard, placing chests under the tombstones and filling them with a few items before burying them, i've even got to "bury myself" a few times afer i end up dying, so maybe you could do something like that in the future lol
Keep on the good work man!! I'm loving your series!
We need more Let's Players like you who embrace the more classic eras of Minecraft in their videos lol
Just put a little couch table, and a book shelf 2:35!
Suggestion for the Village:
1) Broken Bridge Estates
2) Vanilla Village
3:25 I was watching temperature yesterday on world map online and was surprised to see temp. Of usa it was -20°C . Here I care about 8°C . I tried finding least tem. And was of -45°C near North Russia.
i think u could name the village Etheria. I once read a minecraft book that talked about a villager becoming a warrior and the great village in that book (where every player met and bought stuff) was called Etheria. This actally brings me so many memories lol ❤
Hey soupsoup i just wanted to say that i have been loving your series and it got me back into minecraft and inspired me to try to make my ugly builds better lol
Also please name the village The Soup District
A handy tip, at least for late ish game, keep a sword, food, axe, shovel, crafting table, water bucket, ender chest, boat, pickaxe and firework rockets at all times. I keep the bow, hoe and fortune pick in a shulker in my ender chest. I think those are all the things one would need, and you won’t have to punch wood with diamond tools
I have a strong feeling this guy is going to have a crucial role in reviving Minecraft RUclips
You deserve literally millions of subs this is such a good series
Fr
Question for next episode :
Are you making minecraft youtube videos just for fun or you want to become a full time minecraft youtuber?
