As a person who will never, ever, ever have enough money to go to one of their concerts in a million years, thank you SO MUCH for posting this. Papa's energy just bleeds off the stage, I love it.
If you live anywhere near Philadelphia I would be more than happy to take you to their show in Trenton, NJ sometime in September in 2022. It pains me to see you say you’ll never get to see them live. Feel free to answer back anyway possible if it’s something you’d be interested in. I know it means zero not knowing who I am but I give you my word that I’m no creep & there is absolutely nothing to worry about even tho this on it’s own can be taken as quite disturbing. Sincerest apologies if I freaked you out
The normal Tickets aren't that expensive for their concerts. I'm talking as someone who doesn't earn that much money. Even if you're younger, there's always a little chance to earn some money. Small jobs that can be done by students that don't require that much time or experience. Or if you have the chance, wish for money for your birthday/Christmas. I know money can be a real issue, but there's always a way to make a little extra money. It's really worth every single coin and I never regretted buying a ticket. It's absolutely magical live. Hope you'll get the chance to see them, I'm sure some day you can make it buddy! Wishing you the best

Saw them in Glasgow 2 weeks ago now, and honestly, these guys are always at their best when hearing them live, very rare these days that a band is somehow infinitely even better LIVE, the sound mixing was on point, beautiful light shows. Then before the Encore (which was Square Hammer of course, and Enter Sandman), Tobias took the time to thank the the other bands several times, he thanked the staff working the arena/venue that night and told them he appreciates the work they do to keep the place running, thanked the cleaners, the food and drink vendors, he then went on to talk a little bit about mental health, and said he understands that for some of us, life is difficult, and coming out to a gig can be a very scary and uncomfortable situation, and he that regardless of our mental health, he hopes we've managed to find some joy in the night, and that he appreciates us doing the difficult thing to be there. That set me off, I was in floods of tears at how thoughtful and wholesome it was, he then explained that the Enter Sandman cover single sales were being donated to a charity for transgender teenagers, to give them summer holidays at camps with other trans peers to have their own space and chill for a couple weeks. Tobias is a fucking incredible person and I will love him forever. If their sound doesn't appeal to people, I certainly hope that Tobias' actions do. Beautiful person.

People can say what they will, but Tobias knows how to talk to a crowd and make everyone in the crowd feel appreciated. Not to many singers can do that. It's a damned cool thing and reminds me alot of Freddie Mercury in that way.
I would have gone with you! Lol I literally don’t know a single person who has ever even heard a Ghost song (and none of them are willing to listen to one given our fundamentalist upbringings)
I was sitting almost directly across from you and can see myself and my daughter in the crowd from time to time when the lights are up! Thanks so much! We stumbled upon Ghost when they opened for Opeth and Mastodon in 2012, and have seen them on every tour since. Just amazing how it's all evolved. TF is brilliant. Damn!
you are an amazing mother! I would be so happy if one of my parents took me to a concert just as amazing as this. Would love to go to a ghost concert one day,you daughter is very lucky
It's MIND BLOWING how much difference it makes to have great sound. I know how difficult it is to get high quality audio from a live concert. Most RUclips concert recordings are not great. But this, man...not only did you capture some great high quality footage, but the audio! Holy shit. Amazing. Thanks so much for this. Awesome. Keep it up.
Thank you so much, I try so hard to capture great sound PLUS what it feels like to BE THERE. And it's tough. I use a Shure mic, which helps, but you have to tune it and sweeten the audio when editing as well to get it just right. Listen with headphones and it'll blow you away! Check out my other videos they are all good audio
I was there and let me tell you, IT REALLY DOES SOUND BETTER IN PERSON!! ive never had music give me chills till that night. i had so much fun screaming the lyrics and playing with a rat squeaker toy. amazing!!
Ghost, you have truly saved my life, in the pitch black darkest days. When my precious little cat Crystal died after only 2 years of living (the most affectionate little thing, yet she had health problems from day one), you were there. When my social anxiety was all over the place, you were there. When my depression and PTSD consumes me, you are there. When I was unsure about being gay and being a metal fan at the same time, you were there. When my inner horror fan needed a kick of motivation, you were there. When I knew my “friends” were faker than ever before, you were there. When I needed someone to make me feel good about having Autism and being different, you were there. Anytime I needed good music to get me through the week, YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE. Thank you Ghost for changing my life forever. ❤️🤘
I've been into ghost since...forever, and I love that people post there concerts and rituals cause as someone young, in their last year of secondary school, in England and who doesn't have money to go their shows, it still kinda gives me that experience. So thank you :)
I'm glad recordings like this exist. I live in new Zealand so It's highly unlikely they would ever do a show here, this is the only way I can experience it. That and I'd have too much anxiety in order to plan and get myself to one if I could.
OH I GET YOU SO MUCH! I live in Poland and while they ARE doing some concerts here - my anxiety is so horrible i won't ever be able to go I think. I know it's tough, hope you're okay xx
I was able to see them for my first ever concert on Septembed 8th, 2023. Ive never sobbed so hard because this band truly saved my life. Even when i had nobody i still had Ghost, and seeing the man who single-handedly saves thousands of teenagers is amazing. At my show he was very kind, and was very interactive with the audience. Tobias is a phenomenal person and frontman, Ghost is the first band that ever made me cry tears of pure joy when i listen to them. I dont think any concert ill go to will top them, the energy of their live shows is immaculate, and everyone is so kind. If you have ghost, you have everything!
Not just teenagers I’m in my 50s and found Ghost through a low time in my life and they filled that hole and I listened to them every day . I still do and they still make me feel the same way. Their live performance are just amazing you feel on a high for days afterwards. They certainly put on a show and I love listening and watching them . I agree the interaction is what makes you feel part of a huge group or something that all loves the same music but I love their back stories they put up on here too about each Papa. Tobias is a genius ❤
tobias is a genius in the setting of the performance, instead of playing another song he makes mini scenes for the ghouls to do (like guitar duel) so it wont be boring
When I saw them last year, I overheard an older gentleman say, while crying, "I feel like I just saw a band like The Beatles" as I was walking to the parking lot. Nailed it.
It is a corker! I’ve been a fan since the first album and “Impera” is their strongest yet. It’s already a contender for best album of the year in my house. So good to have a great commercial metal album again. Be interesting to see where it charts next week.
@@tgguitarguy You’re right. It is really rock with metal and prog influences. Such a huge sound on this album, even more than the last one. That power ballad is made for stadiums!
I saw them tonight and holy shit, they were incredible. I came onto youtube because the sound wasn’t great on my videos and since they sound so much better live imo.
I have to admit, I did not like Ghost at first. I guess I went into it with the wrong mindset, after seeing the imagery I expected it at the minimum to have a Danzig heaviness and at max a Behemoth sound. I didn’t realize Tobias was aiming for a 70’s occult rock sound. After openly disliking them, they are honestly one of my favorites now. I can’t get enough, Tobias writes the most amazing hooks and the lyrics though at times campy, are very well written and aligned very well with occult themes; he is authentic and knows his stuff.
Nicely said I also mis judged them.....they are fucking awesome definitely have Freddy Mercury's vibes.....it's very operatic in a way...loving ghost!!
I just saw ghost perform this past Tuesday, and it was LIFE CHANGING. I'm sad they didn't play Pinnacle to the Pit but when they finally played square hammer at the end I nearly died.
every time I see videos like these my heart melts, and for someone who can't go to their concerts this is an amazing thing to watch also cant get over the queens voices!!
The wife and I saw them in Hershey last month and it was easily top 5 shows I've seen. They were surprisingly loud, and I forgot my ear plugs, but they sounded phenomenal. Their new one came in the mail on friday, and I've listened to it at least 5 times since then. I can't seem to get enough Ghost.
they always perform so well live. i hope one day i’ll get to see them in concert. though it’s sad that papa can’t hold a fans hand during cirice like they used to, it’s amazing they had to switch to an arena instead of a small venue. more and more people are discovering this gem of a band.
For a phone and a plug in Shure microphone, this is very good and watchable. Also love all the ‘hater’ comments for Tobias and Ghost. They are what they are, they are a pop band, not metal. Nothing too serious here, they look all hard and heavy but are pure 80’s… And I love them for what they are. The latest album is full of great toe tapping songs, just a shame Little Sunshine didn’t make this set.
Tobias' voice is so strong here. I saw the Seattle date, and it was great then (but that was only the 2nd date of the tour). Thankfully I wasn't taking a drink every time he switches hands with the mic. :)
I'm just barely going to miss their performance in TX due to life stuff, so I am so grateful for this video!!! I recently got really into Ghost and I swear to god I'm gonna make it to see them perform the next time they're touring North America 😤 (I know this isn't Imperatour, but It's still great to see what I'm missing! Lol)
Kaisarion quickly became my favorite on the album (aside from Sunshine, that song is literally the best Ghost has ever written). Hearing those fucking GHULEH QUEEEEENS absolutely crushing it live is next level!!!!
I saw Ghost and Volbeat at the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota a month ago.... Ghost has to be in my top 5 as far as stage performance goes! I've been going to concerts for 40 years. They were satanically incredible!!!!! Thank you for recording this... I will watch it over and over and over again.
thanks for recording this man i was there! it was my first concert of theirs and it was nothing you'd imagine. ghost sings so well live the concert went by soooo fast
Thank you so much for posting this! I wish I could see them one day live (even though I don't think that's possible, I live in Austria but let's hope they come here again) and this is just such a perfect way to still at least experience it a little bit! Papa's voice and energy are just the best, I feel like I was there! Again, thank you so much!
I just wish they would add more stuff from meliora still, tight AF and definitely gets more and more mature sounding each tour. I will be luckily enough, backstage in Tampa this year 2022!!
I hope so too! when ghost came in 2013 the rock in rio public gave such an embarrassing reception... it never fails to anger me when I remember that. thankfully in Curitiba the public was respectful and everyone said it was an amazing show. honestly there isn't a band that I want to see live more than Ghost today, so I'm hoping for them to come on their next tour
Its nice to know that Tobias not only saved rock (since 2010), he also has made people care about it again and reinvented it in his own image. What a beautiful genius
Funny you say that, although I like Volbeat and that was a fun co-headliner, how cool would it be to see King Diamond open up for Ghost and also some sort of collab?
They're all good in their own way. ATM I really like Watcher in the Sky but Call Me little Sunshine is one of my faves cause of the grungy verses. I could imagine Layne Staley singing it.

@@DM-rc4yuhe's playing a different character his speaking voice itself is different compared with papa III
1:02:30 I felt what he said right here. It reminded me of many shows I attended alone because I had no one to go with. I appreciate him for saying something so kind ❤️
People can say what they will, but Tobias knows how to talk to a crowd and make everyone in the crowd feel appreciated. Not to many singers can do that. It's a damned cool thing and reminds me alot of Freddie Mercury in that way.
I have been to a lot of shows alone ( sometimes you can get better seats when you only want 1 seat).
I would have gone with you! Lol
I literally don’t know a single person who has ever even heard a Ghost song (and none of them are willing to listen to one given our fundamentalist upbringings)
@@DocBree13 I'd go to a Ghost show with ya in a heartbeat.
I took it as a multifaceted statement that could be interpreted in many ways, profound.
Damn!
Raising your spawn right!!! Fantastic
Aw, how old is your daughter? Always great to see women in the metal scene, mom daughter combo even better!
you are an amazing mother! I would be so happy if one of my parents took me to a concert just as amazing as this. Would love to go to a ghost concert one day,you daughter is very lucky
That's so cute
The clarity is just amazing. I know this is HD sound, but I'm blown away by how clear EVERYTHING is
Thanks Devin I do my best to capture what it sounds like BEING THERE
This sounds so good! I love that we can hear the Ghoulette's so well too!
Nothing like proper sound!
Best rock concert I have ever seen and I have seen many in my 66 years rock will never die !!!!
It will live forever🤘🤘
It seems to me you have never seen nothing. 🤣
Apparently you never saw Tool or Pink Floyd.

I love how everyone that replied suddenly forgot that music is subjective
I was there and let me tell you, IT REALLY DOES SOUND BETTER IN PERSON!! ive never had music give me chills till that night. i had so much fun screaming the lyrics and playing with a rat squeaker toy. amazing!!
The crowd singing Rats was awesome!
You missed spelled Rates
They're all such great entertainers, even tambourine ghoul is vibing and hyping the crowd up.
They are amazing!
The fact that Tobias can sound live the way he does in the studio is beyond impressive to me. I swear I cannot say enough good about this band!!
Respect on how this dude can sing live
Agreed!
The stage presence this band has is just insane. You really get your money's worth listening to these guys perform live for sure.
LISTEN TO THE GHOULETTES!! AND THE CROWD SINGING ALONG! OH MY HEART!!!
The audio really captures the feeling of being there!
Hope you had a great time there!
Personally, I can live without the crowd singing. I'm paying to hear professionals not Joe the plumber 🤷
The pain of living in New Zealand 😭😭
Ohhhh yup, there's a fair few of us kiwis in this boat I think!
i think theyve only come here once but that was ages ago 😭😭
OH I GET YOU SO MUCH! I live in Poland and while they ARE doing some concerts here - my anxiety is so horrible i won't ever be able to go I think. I know it's tough, hope you're okay xx
@@harleyfaulkner2852 the joy of being a kiwi and bands not coming to nz
Ps I’m glad you found them when you needed them ❤
tobias is a genius in the setting of the performance, instead of playing another song he makes mini scenes for the ghouls to do (like guitar duel) so it wont be boring
They have came a long way. From a band nobody took seriously to one of the top bands in the world. Nice work goblins and spooks. Hell yes!!
Thank you for this!! My first ghost concert was this concert and to relive it again is just awesome
No problem!!
me too
"I'm gonna sing a song my papa used to sing"
i love the minor subtleties
Tobias is magic!
Thank you so much!!! I can’t physically go to concerts, anymore so this is precious to me! Fantastic job!
This was recorded on my birthday and I'm happy to say I was in the crowd just behind the pit!
Swiss’ screech during enter sandman gets me giggling and kicking my feet 😻😻
This is definitely on its way to becoming a bootleg concert DVD lol. Awesome job
Great compliment thanks! I love reliving it over and over!
DVD?😂 whos watching pixel DVD nowadays? I watch Blu-ray

Support this as a bootleg DVD let's go! I'd buy it
When I saw them last year, I overheard an older gentleman say, while crying, "I feel like I just saw a band like The Beatles" as I was walking to the parking lot. Nailed it.
I would happily give up my soul just to see them live
That can be arranged!
same. they are definitely on my bucket list
I'm waiting for a Portugal tour someday.. Maybe one day! I'm new to ghost but can't stop listening to them
After hearing the incredible album this man just produced, I might faint if I were in his presence.
Me too!
It is a corker! I’ve been a fan since the first album and “Impera” is their strongest yet. It’s already a contender for best album of the year in my house. So good to have a great commercial metal album again. Be interesting to see where it charts next week.
@@NICO9000 To me it's not even metal, It's just simply Rock
@@tgguitarguy You’re right. It is really rock with metal and prog influences. Such a huge sound on this album, even more than the last one. That power ballad is made for stadiums!
Me too
I saw them tonight and holy shit, they were incredible. I came onto youtube because the sound wasn’t great on my videos and since they sound so much better live imo.
it’s sad we lost so much now that they’ve switched to arenas, such as tobias holding a fan’s hand during cirice, but i’m proud of how far they’ve come
Yesterday in Madrid they were astonishing!!! 14.000 people singing all songs! What a concert, what a band!!!! Long live Ghost & heavy & rock!!
So jealous!!!
Agree! I just got front row in San Diego for this summer!
Nicely said I also mis judged them.....they are fucking awesome definitely have Freddy Mercury's vibes.....it's very operatic in a way...loving ghost!!
I just saw ghost perform this past Tuesday, and it was LIFE CHANGING. I'm sad they didn't play Pinnacle to the Pit but when they finally played square hammer at the end I nearly died.
every time I see videos like these my heart melts, and for someone who can't go to their concerts this is an amazing thing to watch

Me too loving it!
they always perform so well live. i hope one day i’ll get to see them in concert. though it’s sad that papa can’t hold a fans hand during cirice like they used to, it’s amazing they had to switch to an arena instead of a small venue. more and more people are discovering this gem of a band.
This is the crispiest Ghost footage I've seen. Thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm ashamed to say I had no idea how good these guitar players are. That's some too tier stuff right there.
I feel you! Grateful I see that now they are talented
Saw them in Providence this past monday and they KILLED IT.
Thanks! I wished they had sunshine!!!
@@LiveRockMusic Little sunshine made it to the UK but we lost Mary on a cross instead
I wouldn't classify them as any specific genre, Tobias just goes with the aesthetics he's feeling at the time, and I love that about him.
Amazing recording! Thank you so much for sharing! My husband and I are reminiscing on this awesome evening. We were in section 207. Thanks again.

They are going to Sao Paulo, check their tour dates
Its nice to know that Tobias not only saved rock (since 2010), he also has made people care about it again and reinvented it in his own image. What a beautiful genius
I love Ghost so much. But that cover of Enter Sandman hits me so deep.
these guys are ridiculously good performers, definitely wanna see them live
thanks for giving us the chance to see GHOST live in an arena tour, I still wish to see them in a more theatrical tour by themselves, ala KING DIAMOND
