Cap also had a gun along with that kite shaped shield. It wasn't until Captain America Comics #3 that Stan Lee wrote the bit where FDR replaced those two with an indestructible Vibranium disk shaped shield.
My Captain America fun fact is that Captain Americas greatest power is his willpower. In Secret Wars issue 12 he mended his broken shield with sheer willpower. I believe, the first Avenger is a reference to the fact that he existed before the rest of the Avengers in the timeline.
His bones can completely heal in 4 days if they're ever broken. He can run nearly a mile a minute, lift/press 800 over his head & can bench press 1200 pounds (Earth 616 version)
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) The Avengers (2012) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) Captain America: Civil War (2016) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Avengers 4 (2019)
I recently came to a realization about Captain America, which is that ... IF the writers would actually utilize his most powerful ability ... he SHOULD BE the most powerful character in the Marvel Universe. Let me explain: First, what is his most powerful ability? It's the ability very few people ever think about and most don't even know about. The super soldier serum didn't just make Steve strong and fast. It literally turned his brain into what is essentially an organic super-computer. The reason his shield always comes back to him after bouncing off of half a dozen moving objects is because, in the moment he throws his shield, he does all the mathematical calculations to determine how to throw his shield with enough force and at the right angle to bounce off of those half-dozen MOVING objects and return to his hand. He has a photographic memory and a fantastic ability to calculate not only numbers, but human action. He has the ability to create fully formed strategies in an instant. This power, however, is constantly ignored by the writers because if the every utilized it to any significant degree, it would COMPLETELY change the character of Captain America. He could literally spend the day in a college library and end up with a PHD level understanding of physics. Give him another day to search the internet for cutting edge research articles and now he's on par with Stark, Richards, Banner, etc... Give him a week to really focus on honing his scientific knowledge and now he's the smartest man in the Marvel Universe by a WIDE margin. Next, think about how crazy powerful Dr. Strange is. Dr. Strange wasn't born with any powers or special abilities other than being smart. Magic in the Marvel Universe is something that can be learned. It's a skill. So, in walks Cap to the Sanctum Sanctorum and asks Dr. Strange for lessons. A week later Cap is the new Sorcerer Supreme. So we're two weeks in and now Cap is not only physically a super soldier, but skills wise he's in a position to create bleeding edge advanced armor and weapons that would make Stark Tech look like a 2X4 with a nail in it and the magical knowledge to do pretty much ANYTHING he wants. He's basically the good-guy version of Doctor Doom, but about a thousand times more powerful in every way. If this is just the first two weeks ... holy crap! What does week 3 look like?!
Nice Captain America Facts. He's probably one of the best Marvel heroes of all time and now I'm planning to see "Civil War" this Friday and I can't wait to see it. Although I'm on the TeamCap side because he's more believable that he has his own side to face Iron Man's side. #TeamCap
Cap was originally a spy-hunter in the US, hunting fifth-columnists and sabaeurs. He didn't do any of the Takei bonds promotion stuff from _Captain America: The First Avenger_. After getting the S-SS and hunting down the shy who killed the scientists who invented the S-SSS and vita rays, he relocated to a Us-side Army Fort and created a costume for adventuring at night, with Bucky who discovered his identity, and frequently got in trouble with HIS for his night-time adventures. No one knew he was Stever Rogers except Bucky, and they did all their spy-hunting state-side
Avengers 2 might have been a sub par movie compared to the first but Vision handing Thor Mjolnir was one of the best and funniest moments of that movie
+You Ain't Ordinary Bruh That makes more sense. Thank you for the specification. Makes both of them even cooler in their own way. Black Panther is still the first prominent black hero even if Falcon is the first prominent African American one :)
***** Apocalypse is not even a anti-hero, i only he got power even before Jesus, the Cap is not the first with powers and not even the first Superhero.
+MrYaco123 Dude...They are talking about the actual comic book history of when he was created during World War II under Timely comics NOT the character being the first superhero.
Should mention the Super Soldier Collection where a complete collection of Golden Age Capt. America comics was sold at comic con in 2011 for hundreds of thousands of dollars
It was amazing best Marvel movie that came out since The Avengers and best superhero movie of the year yet we still have Xmen Apocalypse and Suicide Squad left so can't wait for those too
It means that Chris Evans has experience with comic book movies. Robert Downey Jr. wasn't a superhero before Iron Man, or Chris Hemsworth with Thor. Chris Evans however does. He was Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim & he was also the Human Torch in Fantastic Four.
+Felix De La Cruz It also means that fan video makers can have fun with clips from other movies to create some really weird Captain America stories. ;{ ) +TheIcefang
+HumongousTuna tbh i don't even know what's wrong with the avengers production team, do they want to really troll the fans or do they not have the rights to include that in a film? I am going to go with the first simply because they havea lot going to keep that out.

+JITCY9107 Black Panther was the first African hero, Falcon was the first African-American hero. They can't say the first black hero because then it would be incorrect.
Dealwitit No, Black Panther would be African American and Falcon would be black. You can be white and be African American if you come from Africa and live in America. Black people have as much similarities with their African ancestors as white people do with European ancestors. People say African American to be politically correct. Being black myself I don't know any other black people who prefer being called African American over black.
+JITCY9107 Technically, saying "African Americans" is about as politically incorrect as possible and is probably more racist than simply saying "Black" as it insinuates they were born in Africa. Unless that individual person was born in Africa and became an American citizen, they are not "African American" and are simply "American". Why aren't White people refered to as "Caucasian Americans" or Asians refered to as "Asian Americans", etc. People are just offended by anything and everything these days and can just sue if something offends them....... and win.

Cap also had a gun along with that kite shaped shield. It wasn't until Captain America Comics #3 that Stan Lee wrote the bit where FDR replaced those two with an indestructible Vibranium disk shaped shield.

My favorite fact about Captain America is that he is American. Making heroes great again.
don't tell that to Captain Britain or to Captain America's Nomad alter ego
+darkmyro Captain Britain wants to leave the EU army very soon
Acually, Cap is of irish descent, his parents were irish immigrants.
+Jonah Steinfeld In the first draught of the comic his shield was composed of very tough potatoes so you are correct :D
My Captain America fun fact is that Captain Americas greatest power is his willpower. In Secret Wars issue 12 he mended his broken shield with sheer willpower. I believe, the first Avenger is a reference to the fact that he existed before the rest of the Avengers in the timeline.
Team captain America
Yep
I think what Superman is to DC comics Captain America is to Marvel .
Oh undoubtedly.
Swastik more like Spider-Man to marvel
Go Steve Rogers! The best Avenger! Team Cap
Do you guys think that Captain America is like Marvel's Superman? nothing to do with their powers but due to respect.
Yeah but when it comes to hard times and death situations Captain America doesnt become a bitch or turn evil like superman does
+Eric M that's bullsh.......no wait your right
+Eric M lol true
+Eric M so true lol
+Eric M yeah and cap has an awesome weapon.
His bones can completely heal in 4 days if they're ever broken. He can run nearly a mile a minute, lift/press 800 over his head & can bench press 1200 pounds (Earth 616 version)
Frank Grillo was so Bad-ass in The Winter Soldier.
hell yeah. not many fans give him recognition. I don't even think they knew he was crossbones
+Henry Miles Tell me about. Amongst my friends, I was the only one who knew that Grillo is supposed to be Crossbones.

daaaaaaaaamn! that blew up writers' mind!
I like the satisfaction of knowing all of these facts.
Me too lol.

Flo Rian (but the sequel has the 2nd best suit after his first winter solider suit)
1. Scales Suit (Avengers: Endgame)
2. SHIELD Suit (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
3. Modified Avengers Suit (Captain America: Civil War)
4. Nomad Suit (Avengers: Infinity War)
5. World War 2 Suit (Captain America: The First Avenger)

BRO CAPTAIN AMERICA LIFTS THORS HAMMER IN ENDGAME AND I AM DEAD OVER IT!!!!!!
before Steve Rodgers became Captain America he was like Stan Lee
I knew he was the best :D Good 'ol Cap!
I was just watching a video about Captain America on WatchMojo from 5 years ago and then I see this!
i feel his partnership with Wolverine should have been mentioned
My favorite Captain America fact is that he is the best avenger. Hands down!
Right! He is!
My favorite Cap fact is that he’s a fellow Freemason. 👍😎🇺🇸
That scene where Vision picks up Thor's hammer is pure gold
Damn this is a very awesome and intriguing list!!!!
Brubaker's Captain America run with Bucky as Cap was the best stuff I've read with the character.
6 comic book movies, including Snowpiercer
+Sergiu Cătălin Coprean
Yeah but that was after he started playing Captain America
I said once on another Captain America video and I'll say it again on this one. Although I'm Canadian I can't help but salute this great man.
I bet I wasn't the only one that said Assemble at the end
Team Captain America all the way
That last scene when Cap said "Avengers Assemble" BUT THEY CUT OUT THE FRICKIN "Assemble" Made me so unsatisfied.
Ismail Agsalud except he never says assemble
Because he gotta complete that line, when the greatest scene in Cinematic History started
Knew most of these already, but it was still fun to watch!!!
Is number 9 really a "Captain America fact" or is it more a "Chris Evans fact"?
shhh
same difference
That cut at 10:00 was my favourite part of the Avengers 2 Seriously !
2:44 Thor's Face when it moves
Don't make fun of the God Peter.
Thor had in mind: this gonna be interesting…
+Captain America hey cap, Tony said get back to Stark Tower. WE NEED U!
FOR FREEDOM...STARS AND STRIPES...FINAL JUSTICE...SHIELD SLASH...GOOD WORK SOLDIER
Who's watching while taking a shit
Nobody.
+Michael, The Hero of the Future. You are wrong, I'm really enjoying taking this shit.
+Ainsley Harriot Ok😕
The best time to watch these things
me thi
The plot of Captain America the First Avenger actually parallels the plot of The Incredible Mr. Limpet.
Does he steal cars? He's not a american hero if he doesn't.
He borrowed the car in TWS
+mk6rfc1 He did steal and desimate a car in Civil War though 😂
+mk6rfc1 bruhh He borrowed a car in Civil War too😂
To be fair he entered fugitive status at that point
He stole a tank in World War II.

The Winter Soldiers as Captain America, his name would will Cold American or American Ice.
+brad comrant Just sounds like a terrible beer
+Kris Carriere Lol, it does! Would you like to invest? We will split the profits 70% and 30%.
+brad comrant **Using Happy's voice** Are you the 30?

Rest In Peace Stan Lee
Just saw Civil war earlier today and it was great
Fact number 11 :
HE IS A HYDRA!
LOL
That really throws many of these facts off, doesn't it. Why Marvel, Why!?
Not willingly
Avengers 2 might have been a sub par movie compared to the first but Vision handing Thor Mjolnir was one of the best and funniest moments of that movie
i knew every single one of these facts.
me too
Nice! I went to the latest captain america yesterday :)
he is the oldest avenger thus far being the first
Technically he's not. Thor's older than him.
+Felix De La Cruz oh shit true
+Felix De La Cruz damn
In the MCU he's the first avenger despite not being the oldest, but in the comics, he isn't.
+Da king Mesofly Namor is older than Cap .
Chris Evens was also in "Snowpiercer". Which was a comic as well.
Black Panther came around in 1966 and Falcon came around in 1969. Therefore Black Panther is the very first prominent black superhero.
He said African American....... Black Panther is just African
+You Ain't Ordinary Bruh very true
+You Ain't Ordinary Bruh That makes more sense. Thank you for the specification. Makes both of them even cooler in their own way. Black Panther is still the first prominent black hero even if Falcon is the first prominent African American one :)
+Maurice Buchanan I would rather watch the film in high quality, in theaters and legally. But thank you :)
Black Panther isn't African-American. He was born & raised in Wakanda, meaning he's not American. Falcon is.
You want to protect the world but you don't want it to change
plus Chris Evans is HOT AF LIKE DAYUMMM
I just got into captin America and now you make a video about captin America
He wasn't the first superhero in the 616, Wolverine born in 1880, and Apocalypse is older than Jesus!
***** Apocalypse is not even a anti-hero, i only he got power even before Jesus, the Cap is not the first with powers and not even the first Superhero.
Charlie Stanton I'am from Argentina, i wait for the premiere.
+MrYaco123 Dude...They are talking about the actual comic book history of when he was created during World War II under Timely comics NOT the character being the first superhero.
Thor is Thousands of years old.
Kalvin Goodlaxson No, they're talking about both the universe and the reality.
captain america civil war was soo good
"The First Avenger" means, that he was born the first (even if it was actually Thor)
No it means the first superhero dumbass.
"The First Avenger" means that he was the first superhero to become an Avenger.
Bro, you're dumb as fuck!
Cap was the first avenger because he was the first superhero to be one.
Even though Cap wasn't originally the first Avenger, he DID act as an Avenger back in WW2. He even sacrificed himself to save the world!
God 'ol Cap !
*Salute*
Salute to you too son.
Should mention the Super Soldier Collection where a complete collection of Golden Age Capt. America comics was sold at comic con in 2011 for hundreds of thousands of dollars
Spoiler alert: Captain wins and Bucky looses his metallic arm fighting with Iron Man
and we will help
YESSS GO CAP! i love this episode :)
Civil war is good I'd give it a 90% but no film is perfect
I would have given it more but I picked the wrong side
Apart from this film
It was amazing best Marvel movie that came out since The Avengers and best superhero movie of the year yet we still have Xmen Apocalypse and Suicide Squad left so can't wait for those too
yeah
+cameron johnson Spider Man and Ant Man stole the movie, but yeah the movie is far better than Batman Vs Superman
How about the fact that Matt Salinger, who's J.D. Salinger's son, played Captain America in the 1990 version.
Funny how that Loser scene pretty much sum up Captain America
lol no
L
Bill Ly lolol loserrrrrr
No
He is the BEST!!!
what does the actor being actors for other heroes have to due with captain america?
It means that Chris Evans has experience with comic book movies. Robert Downey Jr. wasn't a superhero before Iron Man, or Chris Hemsworth with Thor. Chris Evans however does. He was Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim & he was also the Human Torch in Fantastic Four.
+Felix De La Cruz It also means that fan video makers can have fun with clips from other movies to create some really weird Captain America stories. ;{ ) +TheIcefang
I was thinking the same thing. It says facts of the Captain America, not the actors.
When captain America throws his mighty shieeeeeeeeeeeeeld!
And those who all oppose my shield must yieeeeeeld.
2:01 Why did the Universal theme play?
Guess the director in the movie wanted it?
Christopher Squires I thought there was some inside joke or reference.
+Rick Barnes probably a case of "biting the hand" humor.
metropod What does that mean?
as in "Biting the hand that feeds you. "Scott Pilgrum Vs. The world" was produced by Universal, the crew may have put it in as a dig at their boses.
I knew all of these except for 5 and 1, I feel good!
Cap is a legend and way more good than Iron Man
He's the GOAT.
"well if it ain't the Star Spangled Man with the plan, & what is your plan?"
Sam Wilson, the Falcon, became Captain America. Captain Falcon.
now watchmojo has to mention that captain is an undercover hydra agent
top 10 facts? I didn't know you could rank facts.
ayyyyye nice ends of the earth Spidey dp
Everything opinionated, one might be more appealing so yes.
+Ayman Futa It makes sense. Theyre presenting the best, most interesting facts. obviously some facts are more interesting to people than others.
cholrus69 well ok
About 9 there are 6 comic book movies he was because he also voiced Casey Jones in TMNT (2007)
Captain wasn't the first marvel superhero
Namor was created in 1939
one of my relatives played Captain America in 1943 as part of a serial film. Richard Gerald Purcell
What about, he's one of the hottest superheroes? Cause damn, he fine
Why thank you.
Cutting before he said "assemble" was like holding in a sneeze. It's weirdly bugging the hell out of me.

Yup..
Civil war is such a good movie. Very entertaining. Good plot and villain. Very good action scenes. I would recommend to all. 9/10
Thank for the glowing review
Antman is a bigger character than Captain America
Some would say he's a giant character😉😉

Why do people have such an aversion to say black and say African American instead? I know the reason why but it's still fucking annoying.
+JITCY9107 ikr... The first African American super hero. You can say 'black', it's not racist.

Iron Man: I've got a highly advanced, robotic suit
Thor: I have god-like powers
Captain America: I have a frisbee!
No offence but I don't get what people like about Captain America? I mean he's strong and a good leader okay but what's so interesting about him?
Because he cares more than Iron Man, knows what it means to be a true hero.
+Enel The God exactly
+Sneaky-Jesse It's not about his abilities, it's about the character and what he goes through.
+Sam Yancy Exactly
+Enel The God Yeah but I never said Iron Man is better. You're right tho
Black Widow and Black Cat both are supposed to be improved by a version of Cap's super soldier's serum
