I'm digging your projects. FYI, with tongue/groove boards, nail through the tongue in at an angle. Then each subsequent board covers the nails. No nail holes 👍🙂
great video man i like how you are a single person team (i think) at the moment and still creating top quality builds and putting out top quality videos
@@Dualex_Builds ya gotta give your cameraman a shout out tho, we saw a glimpse of him in the mirror in this episode... and isn't this his place where you are keeping your RV? Gotta break down and buy some gravel to put under that RV. For sure. It's the right thing to do!!
I really appreciated that step by step demonstration on how to install the light with the button! So easy and informative. Can't wait to see this finished trailer :)
RV tech here, Try using a butt end connector instead of wire nuts, reason is wire nuts are designed for solid wires not stranded and will loosen over time, end connectors are crimped together so you have more of a solid connection.
That oscillation tool looks really useful, thanks for the suggestion. Maybe you can make a video discussing the tools you suggest for someone starting in DIY tiny home building...? What's essential vs. what can wait, which brands do you suggest, etc.
Dude i’m loving these projects! I hope to get to the creativity level your at eventually! my first step is a bed frame with drawers. gonna follow your plan from the video you had a while back. Love waking up to new DualEx videos
At some point I would love a tear drop camper. Something small. I would love to see you renovate one of those or buy a just a regular trailer and build a custom one. Your work is beautiful 👍🏽
Dude the oscilator is the best! I did the same thing covering my vent. Wish i would have known about the locking planks at the time, but just went with plywood underlayment(cheap option) and moisture resistant primer for walls/ceiling.
First off, I like your videos, thumbs up. I'm just not into nailing against gravity on ceiling pieces, road vibration likes to shake it apart. Now, if this camper / tiny home is not intended to go over the road anymore, OK, I guess. Then there's the use of wire nuts. I hate wire nuts. Coming from the yacht world, wire nuts are a big no. At the least, properly crimped butt connections, solder & shrinkwrap, etc. Plus, that original wire looked sketchy. My "Land Yacht" got core utilities overhauled rhe same as my cruising sailboat. The standards are higher in the yacht world then the trailer / RV world. Finally, the "Bespoke" buying thing is kinda like unnecessary consumerism, I get it, it's a sponsor, but still...
You did a really beautiful job. I love it. I'm a new subscriber. Please, Please 🙏 do a video on wiring lights inside an RV/camper. Like How to run wirings from your viewpoint. There are not that many videos in-depth on this.
Man... Your friend just pop up.... There is an old people sayin.... When a butterfly came in your house, in this case your Camper treler... Someone/somebody will come to pay you a visit...
Idk why but doing this to a camper seems so much more stressful than a house. I’d be losing my shit if I started because I wouldn’t know what to do. Lol Edit. I’ve done a ton of shit to my house. Just something about a camper… idk.
Nice job man. Is this another one to sell? We are 3/4 of the way done with our bus conversion and always looking for more storage ideas. Keep up the good work.
I love the work you did, I had similar but went into a different direction. I noticed you used nail. I'd recommend little screws. Easier for taking down sections for any repairs needed, and they do sell a cover-up puddy to blend screws so u don't see them
I want to let you guys know it doesn’t matter how poor or how rich you are in this world but what you need is Jesus Christ he loves you to died for you on the cross and he is The only way you can get to heaven not by works or asking forgiveness but what Jesus Christ did for you on that cross so you can can be forgiven. Repent and trust in Jesus Christ and remember by grace you are saved🙏 it is a free gift from god 😁🎁
Ran into your Channel on the humble I think it’s cool what you’re doing we need more brother like yourself tbh. What state are you in so I can com book you for one of those completed vans?
I like your videos man, thanks I want to make a humble observation, I think you should work top first and then the bottom, you did a great job with the floor
I build custom truck bed camper for a living and we use trimming router bits to do stuff like cut for vents and stuff best tool in my opinion. Would love to send you pics of work I have done and get your opinion on them.
I finally found you again! I used to watch your videos and share with my son because I would love for him to be as handy and resourceful as you but then I got busy with traveling and forgot your name, but you just showed up as suggested. I'm subscribed now!
You're mind is appreciated Dualex! I was hoping that you created another van build with a BATHROOM and SHOWER. I just know it would be genius and completely unheard of with your touch on it. *fingers crossed*
I think all tools in that tent wrap price range will start to lose power after 2-3 years, but I’m not too big on name brands. I’ll just use the tools that will get the job done without breaking so I’ll generally go with one step up from the cheapest thing tbh. These hart tools were also gifted to me from my tv show I was on so full disclaimer I did not buy them but I did buy all of the other tools you see me use in my videos
Found your channel today by accident so now that I’ve watched all your videos I moved on to someone else’s….. it was a double decker bus so I had high hopes… I’m now waiting to see if you can show them how it’s done 😭😭😭
I am one of your followers from Dubai. I used to like this caravan I am interested in watching, and I want to know where the TV is, because I am addicted to video games I wish you success
Good day, as always I’m enjoying your creative and informative builds. You bring back many memories of watching my Dad build dwellings, woof shops and home renovations for so many years. May I ask, is a Saws all the same thing as the reciprocating took you et al call the “ Fixer upper”?
I feel a bit sad that you installed the floor before taking all the trash parts first, like the ceiling other walls or what ever else you are going to destroy, this clearly will damage the new floor, a good builder would of waited until every single part is out before installing the new bits, thats a bit let down and what not to do , sorry my personal opinion, plus you are working directly on the new flooring,
The new flooring is perfectly fine. No damage will come to it at all. There’s more than one way to do something. Someone who chooses a different path is not immediately bad at what they are doing. Watch until the end of this build series and you may be surprised how good the floor looks
Following… another awesome video.. Almost bought a very old RV with water damage and wanted to remodel but got scared I might not be able to commit. Aloha and thank you ! 🙌🙌

FANTASTIC idea!
To add to this. There are nailers that you can hit with a hammer and they will secure better than just pin nails
“Go live…..He’s probably gonna die now” 🤣🤣🤣. That moth was probably nice and warm in the ceiling LOL

@@Dualex_Builds Do you think you'll ever expand your business and build a team? Love the editing on this video BTW!
@@caranich23 not so sure about a team, but I do want to open a van conversion shop within the next 2 years

Looking to do a Transit Connect conversion soon and need some inspiration. You should make a video with one! Happy Holidays!
I’ve been thinking about doing a tiny van build for a while. Maybe after I finish this trailer I’ll do one 🤔 happy holidays thanks for watching
How you. can work without a dust mask is beyond me. Couldn’t do that work without gloves and a mask. 😃
That you put on later... 😃😃😃
What about installing a reflective between the new ceiling and joists?
Great video. I have a question. Why didn't you replace the insulation?
This vid is two weeks old bro...where you at!?
He removes the ceiling and the walls to find 100 pounds of coke lined behind the walls... Lmao imagine
I'm always amazed at your renos. I love that you are so confident in your skills and abilities and just go for it when doing demo.
Great job man, greetings from Mexico
Totally missing you latest updates. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and looking forward to your next vid
Happy Hollidays! I’m working on some new videos for this weekend

As OG "demolishHer" eye protectors and gloves, which are sometimes hard to work with, are vital, just saying.
Cheaply made but they want to sell it to us for thousands of dollars 😒. I love watching you work. It shows how good your work really is
How much did the Material over all cost for replacing ceiling? Roughly? Thanks

Love your video! I need to do this for my lil camper but I'm not sure I have enough skill. I certainly don't have all your awesome tools!
Honestly stopped watching as soon as I saw scissors used to cut the 12v wires and speaker wires. At that point I lost all faith in anything after.

You’ve done a couple of these builds, I’m tryna to get one and I was wondering if I can get a couple of tips?
looks great! those 360 shots are cool
Love the ceiling! Way to get that workout in too, guys! 😉
watching you drop an elbow on your ceiling just because you dont like it gives me hope for my camper
I love we are apart of this journey with you. Keep up the good work! 👍
After watching the demolition and how they put it together. I'm not going to buy a brand new Swift camper.
Great video! But I really want you to wear gloves all the time for demo like this. Your hands are critical to your work. 😊
I love your videos! Can you tell us cost and stuff total? So if we want to do something like this we have a round about idea of how much to save? (:
Mistake with the fan solves with millimg cutter with bottom bearing. So u use frame as a template and milling cutter cuts the same form

awesome channel & dope tools! greetings from Croatia 👋🏻
Watching you take the ceiling out without gloves at first was nerve wracking.
Ayyyeee the problem solver!!
Although the multi tool IS amazing. I usually use a router cut that stuff like the fan hole put.
I have watched several of your videos, you truly have a gift. Do you travel to other states to do your work? I would love to hire you.
You should make your own business by building and selling what you have done
Re-do a ROOF, new windows and re-panel on my inside walls.... I need to do mine 😅😌
I am looking to redo my dashboard in my class A do you have any videos that could give me some ideas?
Its a PSP than... Problem Solving Powertools.
where do you purchase that tongue and groove? It seems lot thinner than what I have seen.
Maybe is better without music so we can feel more focused 😊
I need you to put your magic touch into a van for me. How can I reach you?
You let the moth go out the window. 10/10
Gott git me a problem solver. Great videos my friend 😊
Nice, I seen it was raining,, looks like no leaks on the camper?
Is the extra added weight supported by the camper?
Bottle openers were problem solvers in our house for a while...

Next to this Guys dope artistry, he finds the best beats too!

Bro, I like how you reppin 315lb on bench during the outro, esp after basically working shoulders all day doing the ceiling. Beast.
