  • UK voters will have their chance to pick the 650 people who represent them in Parliament at some point in the next year. But how do people get selected to run as MPs in the first place? Join our expert panel as we look into the secretive world of candidate selection and dissect the internal party processes which decide who ends up on the ballot paper. We’ll be joined by those who have been privy to candidate selections for Labour and the Conservatives, discussing the influence of party members v party HQ, and whether this process actually gives us the best MPs possible.

particularly dodgy if the company is owned by a local association chair.
well done Michael for exposing some of the dark corners of politics.
