I have been waiting for this ever since you first made them in that marathon sew video! I wonder if you would show how you would adjust this pattern for someone with a different body shape, perhaps a friend, so we can see the process you’d take.❤
I’ve been wanting to learn how to sew a zip fly for so long but always felt intimidated - this tutorial makes it seem a lot less scary! I also like that you used contrasting thread and a solid colored fabric - this made it so much easier to see what you were doing.
Glad it was helpful! I have a designated video just for this zip fly with a free downloadable template to follow along: ruclips.net/video/NG2FQejHx2c/видео.html
I definitely want to try making the Diner Trouser along with your video. You make it look so easy. Could you make a mini video on how to sew on a button the way you did it on this video sometime? I've never sewn on a button that way before, and it looks much better for trouser buttons than the way I do it, which, I think, is the way to sew on a shirt button.
Thank you, I was just thinking about doing a video on sewing a button like that, I recently learned it and its so much easier than what I was doing! I need to find out who I learned it from because I want to give them credit as well :) Thanks for watching!
Bought the pattern yesterday along with the Betsy utility and Celeste frock! I will literally be making these in every material. I now have dreams of really fancy sweat pants 😅
This pattern looks very nice, but I have a few questions. I have full inner thighs so I have to move the leg over from the knee up. I also have a bit of a flatter bottom so I’ll have to adjust for that also. I have a bit of a tummy too. So I’m going to have to the line going down the front. Plus I’m only 5’ 3” tall. What height do you draft for and how do I adjust the front sewn in pleat?
Thanks for watching! Here is my digital PDF pattern: www.lydianaomi.com/shop-patterns
I had just bought and downloaded it. 😄
@@sew_So_beautiful thank you so much 🙌

I’m wondering what sewing machine you are using here in the video?
I’ve been looking for a machine with the auto thread cutter
singer quantum 9960 - i really like it and have been using it for a year now!
