Just wanted to show how I'm using Toughbuilt's tool Tote "M" size. So far it's working really well after 6 months of general house use and helping others on their projects.
I really love this system, I'm glad you posted this. I'm looking at this as a homeowner. I love having the pouches connect like that, I am setting up a general maintenance pouch for general home repair, a pouch for my screw gun, maybe a drywall pouch. So I only have to carry the whole thing for certain projects/emergencies. I feel like ToughBuilt is making the coolest Legos.
I have the large 16” as a service plumber and I have the bar side against my leg. I can fit one pouch and have plenty of room then the other side is full of tools. My bag is 36 lbs normally.
For some reason, they only carry the 16 inch massive mouth and tote. I’m looking into getting the 12 inch massive mouth but I wanna see how heavy it is compared to the 16 inch bc the 16 is pretty heavy on its own. I just want a small, heavy duty bag for my essential tools (I’m just a DIYer/handyman) and I also have some of the pouches on Toughbuilt already and they’re great!
That handle is nice! A lot of these bags don’t have enough support up top and they collapse a little bit. My milwaukee tool bag does that and that is one of my biggest complaints. The handle could’ve been well more thought through on it. good review !
Thanks for taking the time to do . I have a veto for main hand tools but need another bag for bigger tools to ordered this. Can I ask which 2 pouches are you using here?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on out tote and backpack! We appreciate the in-depth look at both! - #TeamToughBuilt
you gave a great tip saying you don’t carry tools on one side because it rubs against your hip..i had that issue..i never thought of that
