If my Klein gives out I might give the veto a try , but I wanted a bag to hold my laptop, meters AND tools and I see now that the laptop side is too thin to hold the laptop and meters. Might still wanna try it though if the Klein gives out. It’s on year 3.

It seem that wiha learned nothing...it may be cheaper but difference in quality is just too much. Veto wins hands down.

btw, I've heard you say MOLLE as "mole" as in the burrowing animal or the small brown skin defects, it's supposed to be "mollie" as in the woman's name; it's the successor to the ALICE system which was an earlier US military load carrying system, and MOLLE is basically name hommage to ALICE.

I wonder if Veto will update the Tech Pac LT to the v-swap system and release a blackout version.

I'm glad someone has a video showing one of these packs used for something other than strictly trades work. Of course, that's what these Veto packs are intended for, however they have the potential to be applicable to other fields and use cases, so seeing someone have one side dedicated to a laptop is refreshing. I'm looking at this as an engineering student that has an existing bag for a laptop and light paperwork, the water bottle holder in particular is important, and not something I've seen on any other tech pac video.

Smart of Wiha to do a Collab, only to rob some features, and make they own. it’s decent for semi duty though, like control work. For filthy jobs or a rough use owner veto is where it’s at

As a laptop bag I would of went with Veto EDC backpack, that Wiha bag has a lot of pockets, using it as mainly a laptop bag with light tools it should do fine, it reminds me of fluke’s backpack.

Hello! Thx for the video. What do you think about using one of these as a piece of workout equipment, pushing and pulling? Can one keep a large amount of weight in them permanently without causing damage? Anywhere from 500-1,000 pounds?

I think the uneven stitching on the outside zippers should've been your first red flag.

I just returned the WIHA to amazon. I dont think the bottom will blow out since most of the weight is suspended inside the bag and not resting on the bottom tray so stiched or rivet isn't to big of a deal. My issue with the WIHA is it's very large but lacks organization insofar as pockets. My little Tech LC carries way more hand tools than the WIHA. I think the WIHA is better to fit power tools. It's a good bag but for the price, i expect better than flimsy pocket pouches. A good deal at less than half the price would be the Crescent CTB1000.

Appears wiha did a collaboration with veto. Took their design. Gave it a makeover and produced their own backpack. Since they also have a veto tote collabed with wiha they'll be taking that design next.

That wiha looks like crap quality compared to veto…

I don’t understand why none of these companies use bright- or light-colored material to line the interior compartments and pockets. It makes finding items inside them so much easier than in a dark bottomless pit.

I have used a tool roll for ALL my tools in my RV for years now. I find a roll a PITA to open & rummage through it for every day jobs/projects. I recently bought a Veto Pro Pac XXL - NOW I have the most used tools in the Veto & the less used tools in the roll. After a few months of using the Veto I could not be happier with it and how nice it is to have tool "right there" & not buried in a roll. I. cut a lot less corners because the right tool is nearby...

Definitely works for you where you are hiding your tools in your truck. When I need a pliers or wrench to adjust something in my house I don’t want to be rummaging through a bunch of zippered pouches. I prefer my Bucket Boss open top soft case with its rubber bottom. The only mod I made was to install a rigid bail carry handle on it. Thanks for the video.

The tool bag vs the tool roll. Only consideration is when working in an area where you can't put the tool roll down on a table or something clean. The tool bag, especially one with a rubber bottom, will nose out the roll when you have to put it down on dirty ground.
