- Business schools are established to teach future leaders lessons on management. However, no school can teach us everything. There is a possibility that we will meet unexpected challenges that will require us to just put ourselves out there and face them. As we live in a technologically driven world where digital trends involving new applications, analytics, and algorithms are introduced at an incredible speed, business schools can’t catch up with these changes. Businesses must constantly reinvent new marketing strategies to cope with ever-evolving elements. Even though the core principles remain the same, the practical application in the real world has changed. To discuss such issues that are not commonly taught in a B-School, MBA, IIT Kanpur is thrilled to host Mr. Anupam Katheriya for the 28th episode of K-aleidoscope to share his insights on the topic: ‘Marketing lessons not taught at B-School.’
Mr. Anupam Katheriya is an IIM-Ahmedabad alumnus and Mechanical engineer from the Delhi College of Engineering. He has 22 years of diverse work experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development in organisations like Heinz, Nestle, Emami, and Suraksha Diagnostics. He has been part of successful M&As and delivered P&Ls of multiple categories in foods, beverages, personal care & services. He has been recognised as one of the Top 60 CMOs in India by Startuplanes and has won over 25 well-known awards, including PITCH Best CMO Awards 2022 and Economic Times Brand Equity Brand Disruption Awards 2022. He has been a jury member of many marketing and business awards and teaches marketing at a business school.
