    I really like the way you steamed the meat. A lot of people don't steam meat using pepper and to me pepper is a MUST use for meat, fish or chicken.

    I thoroughly enjoyed your video. It was so detailed. But I want to know what I can use as a substitute for potash since this substance is not very good for the body. You even mentioned that in your video. Thanks.

      You can use what we call “Ngu” in Igbo language. It’s burn plantain back ground to powder. Check the local food stuff area of the market. Especially where Igbo women sell food stuff.

      Hello! Akaun or Kaun or Akanwu (as different tribes call it) is also edible potash. It’s just a local name for it. They are literally same thing. Thank you for watching and hope this was helpful ❤️

      Lovely video. Pls what do you do when the brain is missing? Some African shops abroad discard the brain before its packed for sale. In fairness, they do not know that it's d most important part. What do you use as an alternative for the sauce to be yummy pls?
