You don't need to fill every empty space. Empty space gives the eye a place to rest.
I think the mirror is beautiful right where it is and that the space between living room and kitchen nook looks perfectly just as it is.
The table by the glass doors is the perfect breakfast nook- I can imagine drinking coffee in that area early in the morning

I like mirror where it is. The empty space next to it is fine and gives your eyes a place to rest. Also the original greens look better than the ones that you replaced them with. The new ones are too dark and heavy looking. I also agree that the rug needs to be round and not rectangle, i think that would bring it all together.
Lovely if you put fresh white flowers and greenery for spring and summer. Your space looks great with the mirror there, ok to have blank space to the left. I like the separation of spaces looks good!

You could also fill the pot with leftover packaging bubble wrap/paper to raise the potted pot👍🏼 I save mine from my deliveries for stuff like this

I think some spindlely type flowers with a pop of white for the vase on the table would be just right.

The tree planter is fluted. That’s what the ribbed design is called.
Farmhouse is the 2020s version of “country” which was popular in the 1980s.
Farmhouse isn’t “vintage” but real Mid Century Modern is one style that is considered vintage.

Everything is really lovely as always. Idea, relocate the mirror, place the tree to the right of the tv to fill in the blank spot, add a slender hutch where the mirror is. Remove one or two dining chairs, charming with just 2. I hesitate to say anything because it is already so nice!

Fluted. 😊 I think four prints squared would be so pretty between the mirror and tv. You are correct in the fact that the eye needs a resting place and not so much! All your prints are rectangular, you need a different shape.

Your home is really coming together beautifully. If I had one suggestion it would be to replace the large white pot with greenery from the table in the nook and replace it with a large low black bowl. You could fill it with green decor balls .Iwould bring the black over into this area making it cohesive with the rest of the room. Take it for what it’s worth 😂. Love you

I love this kitchen nook look! I even like the empty wall space beside the long mirror...it gives a bit of separation from the livingroom . Its a very nice and simple, yet classy look.....like a model home.

Marie, the lighting in this house is amazing. Love everything you shared, so very pretty. I saw a video the other day where a girl used a modern black metal blanket ladder to fill in an empty space and it looked really good, just a thought, but you know what you are doing, the house looks fab! 👍

Also, Hobby Lobby white cosmos stems or their blooming twig branches would be cute in the white vase!
Try putting the mirror in the corner where the tree is and then look at places for art, etc. It just looks like the tree and/or pot on the table is overwhelming the whole space.
That tree doesn't look at all like the picture you put up. The house looks amazing.

It's beautiful. The white really brightens up the space and makes it cohesive at the same time. You have an amazing eye for design. The plants add a perfect touch of green. Of course Loki is always a great addition to any room. Lol
