While I definitely agree that most people just try to shame others for not enjoying what they like by saying "when you will grow out of it" etc. I also have to say that never, ever in my life I found an extravert friend or girlfriend that actually don't mind that I personally don't enjoy large scale parties, even when I went to make them happy and pretended to have fun and didn't sulk etc. Because reality is that this is irreconcilable difference between characters. While introverts usually can accept their partners having a blast in clubs/raves and so on, extraverts usually take not enjoying it as a personal offense and end up, sooner or later, resenting you
