    My only complaint are the trailing arms. They are big, but they can’t take a beating like I hoped they would. And the gear reduction is perfect for running 35s, but I’m just now getting use to the loss of wheel speed. Congrats on the new ride!

    • @XpensiveDecisions
      @XpensiveDecisions  Год назад +1

      Yes I am glad they did gear reduction, biggest downfall of Turbo S to me. Trailing arms don’t seem to be as much of an issue on the 4 seater as it is on the 2 seater but they are kind of thin metal for as bulky as they are. We both have some dents on the bottom of them.

    Nice machines. I’m looking forward to what y’all have coming up with them. These things are too rich for my pocket so I’ll just live vicariously through y’all and suffer through my krx on 35s lol.

    • @XpensiveDecisions
      @XpensiveDecisions  Год назад

      Ain’t nothing wrong with a KRX. If I was to get a 2 seater that’s what I would have got. We did not like the overall looks of the KRX 4 seater.

    • @marka1712
      @marka1712 Год назад

      @@XpensiveDecisions oh yeah I love my krx. I was joking about that lol. They’re all good and bad in their own ways. For me the lack of power isn’t a big loss and the beefiness and ability to handle 35” zillas stock were big sellers for me. I go everywhere I want in mine. Stay safe and keep it up 👍🏻

  • @TxHylyner
    @TxHylyner 7 месяцев назад +1

    So based on what you know so far for the type of riding we all
    Do… PRO XP 35 zillas and 4” portals or Turbo R 35 zillas?

    • @XpensiveDecisions
      @XpensiveDecisions  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hard to say really, pro xp with portals would give you gear reduction and clearance for 35s. But the turbo r has better suspension components for strength. I am not a huge portal fan, just another wear point and service.

    Not much of a review. You basically rattled off the specs that we already know. A review is supposed to be what YOU like and dislike about it.. And FYI the motor in the Turbo S is not the same motor that's in the Pro XP and Turbo R... They got the new improved engine with water and oil cooling among other upgrades

      That is not good, hopefully they stand behind it. Not sure if I want to remove completely yet. Did some pretty hard wheeling this last weekend and didn’t have any flex issues.

    • @crazy3rdgen
      @crazy3rdgen Год назад +1

      @Xpensive Decisions I definitely noticed a difference when we took it out to prevent any more damage. The dynamix will compensate but it didn't seem fast. Like if you're going over a big rock it doesn't plant the wheel down fast, you have to go super slow, let the wheel go over and drop down, let the dynamix stiffen up that shock, then continue to go over. If you go over more quickly without the sway it compresses fast and the travel up seems to go much higher causing less clearance. Going up high angles also seemed more difficult.

    Why did you choose the Turbo r over the new pro r.

    • @XpensiveDecisions
      @XpensiveDecisions  Год назад +1

      I am not 100% confident in the new engine platform, let them work some bugs out. The pro r has longer wheelbase and I think they are too long for 4 seater. The 2 seater turbo r is still too short in my opinion. With the miles and rides we have put on them we are happy with how they perform and the strength they have.
