Really great architectural walkthroughs! I really appreciate the coverage of both the architectural details and it's resulting impact on the people in the space. There's a ton of realtor channels out there, but yours stands apart in conveying the work of the architect and the experience of those who might look forward to living in those designed spaces. Well done!
Just a side note that the clip at 3:33 features a car driving through the intersection in reverse. I get why the reverse motion edit was done for the camera motion to match the adjacent clips, but it was momentarily surprising to the me when watching.

Thank you so much! I realized too late that I wanted to be an architect and so I’ve been using this as my channel for exploring my passion. The subject really fascinates me and I think that most people take for granted the effect that great design can have on us. I’m certainly still learning and appreciate you going on this journey with me :)
Thank you for the kind words

I hate to be that guy, but I stayed for the smile and the dimples. Home is almost as goodlooking.

I work in residential construction. Thoughtful design is always desirable, but not always affordable. Spec homes, while “uninspiring” allows more people to afford a house. What’s better, getting more people into more houses, or fewer “inspiring” houses that only “the wealthy” can afford?

I appreciate the comment! While I don’t think that thoughtful design makes a house any less affordable (I believe it has more to do with consideration and intentionality than lavish materials), I was referring more to spec houses in the luxury arena. At least in Austin, I see a lot of spec homes more expensive than this one that were obviously designed with solely profit in mind

Very well asked question! I was asking myself that same thing in my head within the first 20 seconds of this video (and may not have been as succinct as you). I totally get the inverse thought too though, the cookie cutter style is obviously very uninspiring. The best bet is to find some kind of balance between the two.

This is seriously the most meaningful comment I’ve ever received. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I plan to continue improving and showcasing increasingly incredible homes. Once we really get the ball rollin, you’ll be glad you stuck around :)

Truly. A level of intentionality I wish more spec houses had. It was inspiring to tour and even more inspiring knowing that it sold before ever even hitting the market. It gives me hope that we can design better and the money will follow, as opposed to designing strictly to maximize profit
