    Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario Canada.
Our 6 day, 5 night canoe / portage trip started in Brent, Ontario. We rented a 3 person canoe from Algonquin Outfitters and took my 2 person swift canoe with us. We ventured out from Cedar Lake to Catfish Lake, to Hogan Lake, to Crow Lake/River, Crossed Lake Lavieille to Mallic Lake and back up the Petawawa to Radiant Lake and back to Cedar Lake.

What a beautiful stretch in Algonquin! Man I could carve out a spot on the first river and stay a season or two!!!

3 weeks away from paddling this route myself. Your videos got me very much looking forward to it!

Have a great time out there! If not too much water, you may be walking through the Crow River from between the end of the first portage from Crow Lake to just after the long 1200 meter portage...

Hi Debbie! Thank you for watching! I am glad you get to enjoy it from the armchair!!! Next year I plan to do the entire Northern Forest Canoe Trail - from Old Forge NY through Vermont, Canada, Vermont again, New Hampshire and end up in Fort Kent Maine. 740 Miles - take maybe 5 weeks and I will have some do sections with me and then get swapped out with another paddler. Crossing fingers that the trip happens and have no issues...
