the Air Force recruiter got excited and jumped out his seat when he found out I was already in school for engineering when I entered the office. He basically said how fast I can sign the paperwork for the Space Force.
He brother, I’ve begun the enlistment process and have my scores back from my ASVAB. Unfortunately, my recruiter isn’t very responsive or knowledgeable, as he is answering my questions by Google searching his answers. Initially, he didn’t think I had the scores to pass, then he realized I did after I showed him what was on the USSF website. Is there a way that perhaps you could give some sources that I could use to better understand my score and what are some good jobs in the Space Force? (I am 19) Thank you very much!
I think a G-72 is the highest requirement, so if you have anything higher than that on your ASVAB, you should be fine, it's just a matter of manning. The Space Force is really only looking at intel, cyber, and space operators from their junior enlisted. The SFSC "5S" is the most abundant for junior enlisted. It's the USSF version of the Air Force's "1C6" AFSC, Space Systems Operations. It's a wide umbrella that most junior enlisted guardians fall under. It includes satellite command & control, missile warning, and offensive/defensive jamming to protect our troops down range.
There's a special application you have to do to enlist. It is a competitive process; unlike the other branches' enlistments and much like the officer commissioning programs, merely having the minimums will not guarantee admission.

HI SpaceJamTatical, what would be your advice for a Highschool Junior who is intrested in the Space Force. And what would make this person a worthy applicant?
Future Guardian, although I'm a submariner and not a Guardian, some good universal advice for joining the military includes: - Good ASVAB scores. Look up the subject the ASVAB tests for, and aim high. The higher your score, the more positions will be available for you in any service. - Physical Fitness. The other branches may joke about a "desk job service", but the Space Force is a military service just like any other, and you will regret not being in at least decent shape. Cardio is a big one in all the branches, so I'd start working on your mile time and pushups. - Just Say No to drugs. And that includes weed, no matter which state you're in. Until Congress officially makes it legal, assume it isn't and act accordingly. - Don't do crime. Just don't. That includes joining anything that is or could be considered a "violent extremist organization" or militia of any sort. And don't get tattoos of them either, they check for that at MEPS. - Get sober. You're not going to have access to alcohol or tobacco while in any branch's basic training. Better start off clean now than have to go cold turkey half a day into training. Good luck out there, Future Guardian. Semper Supra!
Hey Gerald are you able to provide the qualifications and the steps needed to become and officer in the space force and how difficult is it to become an officer in the air force with no military experience.

There is a HIGH likelihood you can spend your whole career in CO, and an Extremely low likelihood of deployment. If you want to travel, the USSF isn't the way to go.

It is a competitive process; unlike the other branches' enlistments and much like the officer commissioning programs, merely having the minimums will not guarantee admission.

how do you enlist in the space force?
HI SpaceJamTatical, what would be your advice for a Highschool Junior who is intrested in the Space Force. And what would make this person a worthy applicant?
Future Guardian, although I'm a submariner and not a Guardian, some good universal advice for joining the military includes:
- Good ASVAB scores.
Thank you very much for the great
advice you were a very great help😊
