Since then i am dreaming of a road going middleweight Sportsbike in the looks of the 80s and 90s Marlb...o sponsored bikes. My red white 2000 R6 came already prettys close but this now is perfect! 👌🏻Together with the fantastic CP3 engine this is excactly what i was dreaming of.Big respect for being so brave with the design! I will buy this thing as soon as it is available 🤝

There may be Super Bikes & Hyper bikes shattering sound barriers...but nothing can match a Yamaha's racing pedigree....still enjoying your masterpiece 2strokes👍

Great design. Modern bike with 90s flavouring. The horsepower is just perfect also the geometry and the bodywork will make it great sporty all-around bike. One that you can take for a weekend of mountain curves and use it for commuting on Monday. 🎉
This is what im going to upgrade after the new r3, Yamaha, you've absolutely smashed this, It couldn't possibly be any more perfect.. Unless it was under $15K then we'd really be cooking! Incredible work.

It's like the long-awaited replacement for the TRX850 (which I've had two)! I ride off-road and dual sport/adv bikes nowadays and don't have much interest in road bikes but I'd have one of those!
I have been waiting for retro bikes to get out of the 60's & 70's and into the 80's & 90's. I love the older looking bikes (I have a Moto Guzzi V7 among other bikes) but I started riding at 16 in 1992, so connect more with the era this represents. The paint is also amazing, I am so bored of the very conservative paint options from so many other manufacturers, this is bold and fun and fitting on a bike like this, love it!@@yamahamotoreu

A really nice looking bike..I love the old aerodynamics like the flat heck and ofcourse the whole paintjob ❤️ well done and I am a guy who usually don't like new bikes. My baby at the moment is a honda ns 125r with the iconic rothmans racing decal
Nice bike. If I was in the market for a new one, this would be up there! Also, quite telling (and honest by Yamaha) that the guy in the advert is quite... grown up...? Maybe that's why the ad appeals so much to me! ;) By the way, Shoei better be preparing a Rainey replica helmet to complement this bike!

This is beautiful and dare I say it better looking than Velocity Moto’s RD500 faring kit for the bike. I’m glad to see some proper looking retro or moto GP styled bikes coming and hope they make it to the US.
This is why I love Yamaha. They don't forget about their Grand Prix heritage!

The "missing" lower fairing really stood out to me. Wide open gap for a decent aftermarket part there to complete the package
