I’m
An atheist and I’ll be the first to say that this woman knows absolutely nothing about the Bible or Christianity. She’s conflating everything together and misunderstanding a lot.
The entire Bible is literally subjective interpretations over hundreds of years lol
I'm not watching her for the intellectual reasons
how do you know if you know nothing about the bible or Christianity?
@@Iamrightyouarewrong ? I know plenty about the Bible and Christianity. Your question is a straw man.

What?! The name Mary comes etymologically from the Hebrew name Miriam. It doesn't mean woman.
Leave it to a woman to say an important name from the Bible is woman.....
There's a reason why the Bible says women shouldn't be preaching.

The moment she said Paul saw the “ghost” of Jesus, I immediately knew she didn’t know what she’s talking about.

@@EBC-Bronot so but some of the manuscripts are dated earlier than she’s insinuating so knows little of what she’s saying…
We can look at what’s historical. At what happened like when the gospels were written which is earlier than she said and the claims of it as a separate topics.
She's combining two different Bible stories. Jesus spoke about casting pearls to swine but that doesn't have anything to do with the story of The prodigal son.
Yeah I thought that was strange.... It's simple dont try to tell the gospel to somebody who is unwilling to listen. Your time is precious... Jesus says this about casting pearls before swine in Matthew 7:6
Also, she said something about maybe you get blessed more if you go out into the world and live a life of partying, sex, etc.... but I'm pretty sure it's the repenting and coming back to the Father that's the key...not the LEAVING that brings the extra blessings. 🤔
The lesson here is: read the Bible for yourself so you know when someone is wrong or making up stuff.

Actually scholars say the earliest, the Gospel of Mark, was written 30 years after Jesus.
Yes. It was well under 100 years. From what I understand, The Gospel of John was the last entry and they say it was around 70AD(40 years after Jesus' death). That being said the Gospels(Good News) and the facts of Jesus' life were spread via oration and traveling missionaries immediately. What was being said and spread was then written down a few years later.
Yea there is some badly researched things in the video.Luke was written by Luke....he talked to people who walked with Christ including those who saw him after death.Luke also wrote Acts. Most Bible scholars accept Luke wrote his gospel and Acts,Mark was written by an understudy of Peter 30 to 35 years after Christ left earth....and numerous writtings by Paul are less than 50 years from when Christ left the earth.
Folks can believe or not believe what's being said in them...but it's pointless to try and debate those facts at this point.
@@korbendallas12What do you mean its pointless to debate these “facts?”
We don’t even know for sure if Jesus actually existed and the authorship of Luke is still seen as questionable. Thats the whole point of all this research and continuing efforts in archaeology.
@@Byorin No legit Biblical scholar and that includes non Christians debate that Jesus never existed they all agree Jesus existed...and I can list numerous names. It's pointless to debate that unless someone just wants to be ignorant on the subject.
They've found not one but two archaeological finds in Israel the last 5 years that date to about 40 to 60 AD that quotes from Luke and even says "the word from Luke"or Lūqās was the name used which means Luke in english.By the way...one of the finds was made by a Jewish archaeologist...the other was an athiest so not even found by those of the faith.
It's very high odds Luke wrote his gospel and Acts.Luke's gospel is actually letters he's writing to another Jew about what all he's finding out from talking to other people.
There are scholars that are debating that now, actually. These are scholars who lost their beliefs in the text we have now after they've translated more accurately. It's hard to know what the actual truth is these days.
Outside bible sources of Jesus
Thallus (52AD)
Thallus is perhaps the earliest secular writer to mention Jesus
Tacitus (56-120AD) Cornelius Tacitus was known for his analysis and examination of historical documents and is among the most trusted of ancient historians. In this account, Tacitus confirms several historical elements of the Biblical narrative: Jesus lived in Judea, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, and had followers who were persecuted for their faith in Christ.
Suetonius (69-140AD) Suetonius was a Roman historian and annalist of the Imperial House under the Emperor Hadrian. His writings about Christians describe their treatment under the Emperor Claudius (41-54AD
Josephus (37-101AD) In more detail than any other non-biblical historian, Josephus writes about Jesus in his “the Antiquities of the Jews” in 93AD.
All are false. Apocryphal. Joshephus wrote about Hercules - is Hercules historical?!
@@NaneuxPeeBranerubbish. I am not an expert but I will try to summarize the scholarly concensus, albeit not as effectively as an actual scholar but here: Almost every respectable scholar will agree that Tacitus and Josephus documented Jesus' existence. You have to understand that historians did not write structurally, or stylistically, in a similar fashion to how we wrote today. They used to teach rhetoric/persuasive writing and speaking to those historians within antiquity, and these historians would combine and document oral traditions, aspects of mythology, they would often write persuasively, and document history in this fashion. Does this mean we take everything as literal fact? No. But we have read between the lines and understand that documenting history 2000 years ago, was ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from how we document history nowadays. Historically they also wrote about the most important events, not necessarily in chronological order. They were looking to write impactful accounts, with amped up rhetoric. Where nowadays we put an emphasis on orderly, structured, and detailed chronological accounts.
But, with any historical document, it is probably best for you not to assume every thing written is literal fact. Whether you are reading history from 10 years ago, or 1000 years ago. Additionally, it would be logically fallacious of you to immediately discredit entire works of history, just because there was an error/mythological account. Apply the same standard to history in the Modern era, historians are constantly in the process of correcting eachother in the premise we keep learning/uncovering more information each day.
Edit: fortunately, You parroting cheap atheistic talking points won't actually change the fact that most respected historians and scholars accept OP's sources as attestations to the life of Jesus.

Pontius Pilate (Latin: Pontius Pilatus; Greek: Πόντιος Πιλᾶτος, Pontios Pilatos) was the fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, serving under Emperor Tiberius from 26/27 to 36/37 AD. He is best known for being the official who presided over the trial of Jesus and ultimately ordered his crucifixion.
Nobody denies Pontius Pilate existed.
Beyond Judeo-Christian literary sources, Pontus Pilate has contemporary coins & inscriptions which support his existence. Jesus doesn’t but he is mentioned in Tacitus’ Annals (15.44, c. AD 110) in the context of the fire of Rome of AD 64 and subsequent persecution of Christians by Emperor Nero.
Because of sources outside of the Bible. Jesus is only named here and there, not to mention just his name. Not his ‘wonders’.

Most written ABOUT.
There are ~#32,000 TOTAL written words ascribed to Jesus.
Many are just conjunctions, adjectives, etc.
Many thoughts or parables are repeated in the Gospels.
So you ultimately end up with about 10,000 words with direct meaning.
The average speaker says from 100- 200 words per minute.
So you end up with about 100 minutes of Jesus actually speaking.
2-3 hours being generous.
That's a small lecture.
@matthewhudson5685 I said the most written about person, NOT the person who wrote the most.. meaning he is the person other people have written about the most. As for how much of his ministry is written down it doesn't matter. Quality over quantity you don't have to say the most to have the biggest impact.. L.ron Hubbard for example you know how much he wrote?? Answer a whole bunch all of it nonsense.. you get what am saying??
joe is not a story teller, he is the ultimate pupil. taking in information and digesting it on a real level.
He has good stories sometimes though
Mark was written 20-30 years after, possibly earlier, by Mark, the associate of the apostle Peter, and most scholars will agree its the first written, and would be the account of Peter. Matthew/Luke would have been written within 30-40 years after. These two are traditionally written by Matthew, the apostle (or possibly a scribe/assistant of his) and the latter is actually Luke the evangelist, associate of Paul, who also wrote the book of Acts. There is lots of debate on the timing, largely because Jesus predicted the destruction of the temple, some scholars date some of the gospels after 70 AD, simply due to the fact there is a bias against the ability to divinely predict/prophesy. Finally there is John, written 60-70 years after death, latest 100 AD. Written by the apostle John, one of the twelve apostles, direct eyewitness (some scholars might disagree, but would grant it is from the Johainne community, so worst case written by those that John preached to). So you have two books written by apostles, direct eyewitnesses, a third book written by the associate of Peter (another eyewitness and "the rock" that Jesus stated he would build his church on), and a fourth book written by Luke, while not an eyewitness, was the associate of Paul, who was deeply embedded in the earlt Christian community within 10-20 years after Jesus resurrected.
So long story short, this lady is wildly misinformed, Joe has no idea what he is talking about again, but is spreading non-sense as if it is fact. Joe is at the peak of the Dunning-Kruger effect curve. Unfortunately needs to be educated in this topic. God forbid he does and gets confused/lost in some of the Gnostic texts. However, due to joe's proclivity's, I have a feeling he will never be truly charitable to Christianity.
LASTLY: On the topic of written sources documenting Jesus Christ, we have plenty, and more sources have written about Jesus within 20-50 years after his death and resurrection, than have written about Roman emporers. Nabil Q did a talk at a university, I believe he mentioned Nero(?), basically, we have 3 primary sources for EMPORER NERO, but we take his history (largely) to be written as fact. But we question Jesus when we have 4 immediate gospel accounts in the Christian tradition, almost a dozen of Paul's letters written to churches within 10-30 years after the resurrection, and we have 3 external non-christian sources documenting Jesus (Tacitus, Josephus, etc). And we still get people spewing this nonsense. We have many sources documenting Jesus Christ, more sources than we have for many historical figures, more sources than some Roman emporers, as many sources as we have for Alexander the great. It's amazing how scrupulous people are when it comes to Jesus and Christianity, applying standards that are incredibly high, standards that are not applied equally when it pertains to historical figures. Even agnostic scholars like Bart Ehrman will emphatically attest to the historicity of Jesus Christ's existence, it is beyond mere conjecture, it is simply a fact. No other individual has as much written about them in the age of antiquity Palestine, or the roman empire.
I'll end off with one of a dozen quotes from religious scholars, and there are many similar quotes like this, and these are from secular scholars attesting this fact (it goes to say evangelical/Christian scholars would also be just as empathic, if not more so, about the fact of Jesus Christ's existence) :
“I don’t think there’s any serious historian who doubts the existence of Jesus …. We have more evidence for Jesus than we have for almost anybody from his time period.”
━━ Bart Ehrman
We know what they said, we know what they ate, we know where they lived.

A good read , "a case for Christ" lee stroeb I believe is the author. Book of Acts was believed to be written by apostle Paul between 50 ad -70 ad , only 20 to 30 yrs after crucifixion
I’m not religious but I just did some research and it appears she’s incorrect. Here’s what I got. Gospel of Matthew: Traditionally attributed to Matthew, it was likely written around 41 C.E., approximately 8 years after Jesus’ death.
Gospel of Mark: The earliest Gospel, written by Mark, dates from around 65-70 AD, which is about 35-40 years after Jesus’ death.
Gospel of Luke: Written by Luke, it falls within a similar timeframe as Mark, around AD 75-100, approximately 40-65 years after Jesus’ death.
Gospel of John: The latest Gospel, authored by John, was written around AD 75-100, making it approximately 40-65 years after Jesus’ death.
She’s wrong about so much in this clip, cringe
If Matthew was written in 41 AD then how is Mark the earliest Gospel?

The level of ignorance on Christianity in non-catholics countries is incredible.
No no no no.......That's not what "Don't cast pearls before swine" means. Jordan Peterson has the best explanation.
Yea you can tell that they know nothing about Christianity
She's wrong about the synoptic Gospels and John's Gospel. John and Mathew actually walked and talked with the living Christ Himself. St. Mathew was the tax collector and John(James's bro) was a fisherman. St. John was at the foot of the cross during the Passion along with the Blessed Virgen Mary and St. Mary of Magdala. St. Matthew and St. John were part of the original 12 Apostles.
Plus, St. Peter -the leader of the Apostles- also wrote scripture that's in the New Testament. St. Paul met the resurrected Christ on the road to Damascus whilst butchering the very first Christians. His name at first was Saul of Tarsus, he hated the new movement of "The Way" -which is what the first Christians were called- he hated "blasphemers" and killed them. Then one day on the road to Damascus a flash of white light hit him, blinding him, and being called out by Christ Jesus of Nazareth. After he ran into Jesus, he fasted and was blind for three days, was healed by Ananias(in Christ's name) restoring his sight, and was baptized and given the name Paul by Christ Jesus.
St. Paul gave his life to Christ, traveled all throughout the Levant to spread the good news. He was eventually martyred in Rome by Emperor Nero. St. Luke "the Greek" wrote his Gospel from many sources of Christ's followers but mainly was inspired by Matthew and Paul. St. Mark got his Gospel mainly from St. Peter(Andrew's bro & also a fishermen). Cast that net one more time 😉
So, this gossip about "people that wrote the Bible never met Christ" is bullshit. And the dates of the very first texts are always going to be a debate amongst theologians, scientists, skeptics, and historians. This chick doesn't know her Bible or what she's talking about. Rogan needs to get Bishop Robert Barron or Sam Shamoun on and really get deep in the weeds about the greatest library to mankind, the Holy Bible!

The earliest accounts of Jesus' existence are found in the writings of the New Testament. The earliest of these writings are the Epistles of Paul, particularly 1 Thessalonians, Galatians, and 1 Corinthians, which are generally dated to around 50-60 CE. The Gospels, which provide more detailed narratives of Jesus' life and teachings, were written later, with Mark being the earliest, commonly dated to around 70 CE. The other Gospels (Matthew, Luke, and John) followed in the subsequent decades, with John being written around 90-100 CE.

This life is spiritual warfare a battle for our souls and we need God every second of this battle. The weapon and armor we use is God's Word. If satan can't get to you he will use other people to get to you. To try to tempt you with sin. I also think there is different types of evil spirits that are called demons lust, addiction, anger, depression, confusion, greed and other negative feelings that tempts you to sin and goes against God. Stay strong especially in times of temptations. The second you feel tempted is the second you pray against it. Because if you give satan more than a second he will take that second and stretch it out longer. It gets harder to fight temptation that's why you don't give satan any chances. You pray against temptation the second it enters your mind. Because that's satan tempting you it's not sin to get tempted. Because Jesus was tempted by satan and Jesus never gave into sin. Jesus fought temptation with God's Word. We have to do that too. We can be willing vessels for God or we can be willing vessels for satan. There is no in between. The only way people can be willing vessels for satan is if they give into those temptations to carry out evil. satan likes deceiving people so they blindly keep doing evil without realizing it. It's like being hypnotized willing to do something evil without realizing the true effect of it. The only way you become a willing vessel for God is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and asking forgiveness for your sins. Also being obedient to God's Word and putting God first is also important. Then you will feel God as you walk in the Spirit.
Ephesians 6:11-12 "11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." To put things simply, everything good we have in our societies here in the west stems directly or indirectly from the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our morality and our freedoms.
So here’s the thing this isn’t fear mongering this is just how it is u have 2 options either u don’t believe or u believe … if you non believers happen to be right that will not affect us believers in anyway but if we happen to be right well then I can only wish you luck … people fail to realize that God is not subjected to your interpretation of how you view things God is not subjected to some imaginary dude in the sky and GOD IS NOT SUBJECTED TO YOUR RELIGION … When you are Walking in faith , believing in God , leading with love , that’s not a religion that’s called a way of living, a way of loving that’s called TRUE happiness God makes us go through rough times because if we didn’t we would never find our way back to him if we didn’t go through rough times and grow from them and learn so much about ourselves that we didn’t know before then we would never be able to help people going through similar or worse things … that is a blessing in itself and once again I would define that as the true definition of happiness. I can promise you that if you compare the old self righteous self belief I got it figured out “ I need evidence “ type of you vs the new loving following in Jesus Christ and putting your faith in our savior our Lord who died for our sins type of you , if you ask me it’ll be a world of differences . Like I said it’s a way of living it’s about loving it’s about helping and being kind and spreading gods word , Jesus once said “ I am the light of the world , who ever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life “ Amen 🙏 Jesus is king surrender yourself to our Lord or surrender yourself to your thoughts your lust your desires your self righteousness and self belief , : God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life: Amen 🙏
we have all sinned and the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus John 316
Hate when people say their interpretation of the Bible instead of reading the actual Bible
None of the gospels were written 100 years after Jesus lived. The manuscript evidence shows that all of the New Testament was most likely well finished within the 1st century. Most scholars place the last of the four gospels which is the gospel of John as being finished in the the 90's A.C. That's still 55-65 yrs after Jesus and the tradition says it was directly by the apostle John himself or his own personal scribe and assistant.
Once you have been truly saved and given a new heart and have an overwhelming feeling of gratitude that Jesus is with you, you are not concerned about a story in the Bible being 100% true, or if Jesus is real. Before being saved you can easily be distracted, hearing lots of opinions from others to keep you away from salvation. I pray that Joe Rogen finds his way to Jesus, and then can help many others to do the same.🙏

The book of mark was 80 yrs after. Greeks, Roman's, Jewish and Arabs all wrote of Jesus in the same way
It was always testament about living by example.
Yeah a dude claiming a woman is actually Mary reincarnated is super weird, but a guy 2000 years ago walking on water, curing the sick and turning water into wine is perfectly believable 😂😂😂😂
Joe read “The Case For Christ” by Lee Strobel. You wont be disappointed.
Whether you belive in Jesus or not.. His morals still hold up to this day
Yeah but we lost so much teachings of Jesus 😢 where Jesus talk about wisdom and secrets of universe 🥺 church banned all those gospels, Jesus have 12 disciples and I think 13 disciples wrote gospels but we have gospels from only 3 disciples 🥴
The stories were not written 100 years after his death. They where written 50 years after his death and the eyewitness where still alive during the time of its writing. Also the Bible is a library of books that has 20 plus authors but yet it reads in one tone and doesn’t contradict with one another. The Bible existence should have been impossible but yet there it is.
I was religious until I did my research. To begin with his name was not “Jesus” his name was Yeshua. Second, he did not die on the cross , matter in fact he wasn’t crucified at all. Everyone wants to jump into these cults/religion without knowing the origins of the religion as well as the teachings. The truth hurts.
joe "i know fucking everything maaaaan" rogan
Her ways of explaining the ancient beliefs is actually refreshing
Ignatius the patriarch quoted 25 of the 27 new testament books in 110AD. Jesus died anywhere from 30 A.D to 35 A.D. So where is she getting the premise that the gospels were written a hundred years after Jesus died?
Who cares.

Joe, here’s a fact to consider….the 4 Gospels were written as early as 35 years after Jesus death. Julius Ceaser wasn’t written about until 125 years after his death. And yet no one ever says Julius never existed…..
We also don't have a worldwide cult worshipping Caesar. He just inspired some tasty salad and bad haircuts, lol.
@@Kinesiology411you don't know what a Cult is.

@@Gavin-qh7li who's being sarcastic, lol? Religions are all cults. And Jesus never existed so it's a cult around a fairy tale. I find that repulsive.

Not for anything, if I feed hundreds of people with a fish and some wine thousands of people would know about it. Only handful of people spoke of it. Yeah Right !!
Matthew 13:10
I don't know why it never occurred to Joe that the forces that be might do their best to scrub a lot of the evidence of Jesus. Just a thought. Let's go look in the vaults of the Vatican for instance...that would certainly be interesting...
I believe Jesus was a historical figure who, like many prophets of the time, believed he was the son of God. He led a very successful movement that got him killed and made a matyr. His followers understood that in order to make the movement he led stand the test of time, they had to turn him into a mythical superhero. So that's when he was given the power to walk on water and turn water into wine and heal the sick, come back from the dead, etc. So future sheep can say cool, i want to be a part of that flock.
I've actually said similar words to yours on other RUclips videos. Jesus was an enlightened being who studied "hinduism" in India between the ages of 12 and 30. After achieving enlightenment (self realization) he went back to his people to share his newfound wisdom and the rest ...you already summed it up. Similarly, Siddhartha Gautama took what he learned in India and went east into Asia and subsequently Christianity and Buddhism were born. All religions are branches of Sanatana Dharma/ Vedanta aka Hinduism. The only teacher who had no teacher before him was given the name Shiva. He is Adiyogi (the first yogi). Har Har Mahadev 🙏
@@dharmendra.singh.1985 no he didn't paj33t
Yeh because if Stan Lee was being viciously murdered, he'd have kept his mouth shut that Spider-Man wasn't actually real nor stuck to walls.
All those people who died claiming the same thing, not quick and easy deaths. Tortured and viciously murdered but their beliefs and claims never swayed. Even the traitor hung himself after what he did. But yeh, they were just devoted to getting the comic book out there.........please.
@@dharmendra.singh.1985 Go look up The Futility. The fictional novel of a fictional British Ocean liner that hit an Iceberg and sank in the North Atlantic Ocean. Sound familiar? Oh YES! It must have been the Titanic right? Except you forgot it's a fictional novel. Never happened. It wasn't real. Until about 14 years later when The Titanic tragedy actually occurred. The novel was published in 1898, Titanic tragedy occurred in 1912. 14 years later. Point is, just because something is written about or has similarities, doesn't mean the other didn't happen. Your logic also only works if God only existed when Jesus was born but he wasn't. He created everything. The Holy Trinity who always had a connection with man since their creation. If The Bible is real which the overwhelming evidence points to that it is indeed accurate, then Hinduism doesn't work. The sign of The Great Flood and Noah's Ark doesn't let your theory work either which has been revealed as of late. Same thing with Sodum and Gomorrah. Signs that something unbelievably hot scorched that area. Look all those up. They're easily accessible.
@captaindeadpool2655 "Even the traitor hung himself after what he did." Did he? The book of acts says he walked into a field and spontaneously cumbusted. And the greatest spreader of Christianity was Paul, who wasn't tortured. He was a persecutor. He didn't even know the earthly Jesus. He claimed he was the messiah after falling off his horse and being scolded by the risen christ in a vision. In other words, more magic tricks to justify an eventual guilty conscience and increase the membership.
What if a person whose name was not Jesus but he was the son of god and when religions refer to him they all have their own name for him
Gee, I always thought "pearls before swine" meant putting something of great value in front of someone too ignorant to appreciate it?😉
He was alive especially when he picked the disciples , Jesus is somebody that wanted you to have faith , explain the feeling of love hate anger . He was the holy trinity. He was the father son and the holy spirit . She is right about the parables as well . Please keep your faith .
Don’t cast pearls before swine means be aware about giving something of value to someone who doesn’t have the knowledge or virtue to treasure or appreciate it. Pigs will eat any and everything. If you put priceless pearls before them they won’t know the difference, so you will waste the intrinsic value of the thing you’re giving. Lordy lord, are people really this empty headed today. The fact of this teaching becomes easily self evident with a little bit of self knowledge and spiritual insight.
Plus don't support that narrative that Jesus's information was written 100 years after. They have the capabilities and plus they have knowledge to document during that time. It was personal and kept secret for a while. Remember there was a spiritual war since the beginning, if Satan would have found out about the text and there were no angles protection, Satan could easily change or destroy what was documented.
He still does.Remember I AM, you'll see Him i the fullness of time!
No well respected historian thinks he didn’t existed
Most likely a myth. Emperor Constantine and the council of Nicaea were pretty smart for their time. I can see the reason for the cult development as having every one praying to separate deities was or were not likely creating a very unified society. Getting everyone on the same page would have be a step forward. The ignorance of the time is pretty amazing, they didn't even know what bacteria was or that we were on a planet orbiting a star. That people still want to follow these 2000 year old stories is amazing, seems we (or some people) wish to remain ignorant.
Every thing from nothing
Bacteria designing every thing
That's science fiction
@@Gavin-qh7li No one claims bacteria designed anything.
That humans can't and probably never will be able to know how the universe was created doesn't mean a deity had anything to do with it. Since humans can only fathom a linear existence, what created your god?
The second someone says “Constantine and nicea” it’s instantly clear they’re completely ignorant.
Yeh because screw the Egyptians right? They knew nothing about about stars and such. People back then were so dumb with the otherworldly creations they made.
Nobody even knows if matthew, mark, luke, and john wrote matthew, mark, luke, and john
Yes we do, they did not exist.
@donaldjohnson-wn6ps no known text exists that is attributed to John.
@josemejia9349 the bible is the most historically accurate book, most sold, most stolen, most critiqued/ studied most powerful life changing book ever.. and still stands.. everything in it has been proven time and time again.. the only reason people don't believe it is because they don't want to obey it that's all it comes down to.. ain't nobody been able to or will be able to disprove it..
@@JosephLee706 it’s not historicaly accurate but it is very popular. Scientifically incorrect when calculating the earths age and such. IT’s Spiritual, not historical.
While some events in the Bible can be verified, one does not consider the Bible as a historical reference text. Instead, look for primary documents and archaeological evidence as better sources of historical events than the Bible
@@JosephLee706 The entire bible is rife with historical errors, it's hard to just name a few major ones in such a short space.
For starters, there was never a global flood. The human population didn't come from just two people, and certainly was as never low as 8 (the claimed number from the Noahide flood myth)- scientific analysis of our genes shows that the human population couldn't have dropped below around 1500 unrelated individuals and still have the genetic diversity we see now.
