- Recap of the latest Rupaul's Drag Race Season 16 Episode - Welcome to the Dollhouse in which Contestants where challenged to create doll versions of themselves. I'm giving you my thoughts from a Doll Collector's point of view.

I am so behind on Drag Race, think I ended up overdosing on it a couple of years back and found it hard to keep up afterwards. A dolly friend told me about this challenge so I'm really glad that you made this video about it as I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. A lot of the looks feel kind of underwhelming to me and it's a shame that the looks of the dolls didn't always translate that well onto the contestants (or vice versa).
Yeah, it was obvious they were time constrained and the main focal point was their own look. Seeing how long it takes for Hextian to do a ooak doll, they're never be able to pull that off. 😂💖😊
This stuff is all new to me. I am so impressed with all the creativity shown in the contest.

I have a custom Jaymes Mansfield, Katya and Integrity Toys Trixie. So fun to have dolls in Drag as well. Purple Drag Queen doll from JHD is stunning as well. I am so happy you love Dragrace as well. Such a fun video

OMG YES!!! I was wondering if any of my RPDR dolly friends were going to talk about this! Loved this episode and loved all the dolly memories that some of the Queens shared. :)

@@dontcallmedoll I know - I thought there would be more overlap too. I’m a long time RPDR fan so I’m always delighted when a doll channel references DR. Just curious because I’ve only been collecting dolls for the past couple of years - what kind of doll do you think they were given - they looked like Smart dolls to me but I can’t be sure. I wish they would have showed more of how they chose the dolls they used and how they picked the wigs and did the face up etc. But all in all I was excited to see the dolls.
I did watch the doll episode and enjoyed it for the most part. Not many of the dolls would make my collection with the exception of Q's. I thought some of the comments from the judges about leg size was unfair since they all had the same proportioned doll. Great vid!

I love this vid and ur take on this topic, u talking about the queens and their exp with dolls made me think of my exp with dolls.. the thing is as an adult i was able to have dolls and got supported by ppl that i call my choosen family❤ buuut i still was a asheamed and never told ppl outside of my bubble, kamy❤ made me think and and grow a lot as a collector and feel much much more comfortable and sharing my hobby with more ppl made my enjoy ma hobby much more and made ppl understand me more and be happy for and with me❤THANK U KAMY❤ i wish all the greatest my dear friend❤

The way I agree with u about Plane's doll, a lot of people were mad @ her being top 3 but I think she deserved it.
I feel like Nymphia's look is actually very reminiscent of peaches and cream barbie.
Plane's was definitely the doll you would most likely see get mass produced and released, very well done. Oh yes totally, it's Bananas and whipped cream Barbie 😄🤭💖
콘테스트에 참가한 사람과 인형의 모습이 다르다는 건 인정합니다.
그렇다하더라도, 인형은 상징 일 뿐,
아쉬운 부분이 있겠지만, 인정하는 부분도 괜찬은 생각 인 거 같습니다.
또 다른 생각 하나는 인형을 제작하시는 분들이 좀 더 세심하게 콘테스트에 참여하신 분들의 특징을 살펴볼 필요는 있다는 생각입니다. 최소한의 예의라구 생각하니까요.
암튼, 두 가지 부분에서 생각 할 수 있을 거 같애요.

I'm surprised noone realizes that Daya Betty's entrance look on season 14 was a complete rip off the doll and cartoon from Jem and the Holograms. If you look at the Jem character Rapture, that look from head to toe was doll inspired. The yellow and black with blond hair. Check it out! It should have been mentioned in this video too 🙂

I think I like Nymphias the best but honestly all of them are kinda meh. I feel like they could have given them more resources to make the dolls better
Yup, I've seen the same Type of doll the contestants got go for as Low as $0.50 on AliExpress 🙈😂
