Wow! I have a MSI 1080 Ti Duke that has the same problem. Soon as it started artifacting i quit using it and put it back in the box. Another youtuber tech guy said it was my GPU but I just couldnt believe that. Wish I could afford to get it fixed I loved that card, now stuck with 1050 TI until I can afford a new one. Great work on that card!

Discovered your video because I have an EVGA 1080Ti SC2 doing a similar thing (artifacting) at stock clocks with 100% fan speed.

I got similar symptom EVGA RTX 2070 SUPER with mats got only 33 errors on D0. How can I confirm its the memory or other? Thanks

I have a gtx 770 4gb, I followed a previous video of yours and ran MATS, Vram chip D1 got errors. The card has green and purple artifacts, and has error code 43. What is interesting is the card has Vram on both sides...
It died while starting a new game in The Obra Din 😂
I assume D1 could be on either the back or front?

What could be the problem of a gpu that crashed pc everytime I try installing or updating drivers, and only install original cd drivers but still error 43 and no display?

Can you tell me what would cause my asus 1080 ti to boot up and post fine but black screen and crash every so often, the more load the worse the crash and benchmarking or attempting i should say it happens immediately and itd a coin flip if it recovers or reboots also application closes

gpu god, inspired me to open my gpu rather than throw it out... also error 43 :P im running a zotac geforce GTX 1070 ti amp extreme, at first i smelt burning... next day got artifiacts and lines everywere... and finally left my comp on and it randomly reboot and gpu no longer working.. error 43

i know its not related but i am having a problem with my gpu its 1050ti and sometimes it wont display, it switch to my apu (r5 3400g) do you have some suggestin what i can do. When pc post with gpu it will spin the fans but when it wont post it wont spin the fans and it siwtch to apu. i try to reinstal the pc, removing the cmos battery, reseat ram stick nothing work. WHen i remove cmos for half a day and i plug the gpu back in it will post no problem. When i shut down the pc it wont post anymore
I gave mine 1080ti to a repair shop they said the same, replaced the ram, still brocken and artifacts anywhere, 270Euros out of the window just for the "repair"

i wonder if its at all possible for the oil from thermal pads to actually hurt anything. it just leaks all over the board. I mean it shouldn't cause a problem, but what if... mmmm

I just had success with this, I had to run "./gputest.js -mfg -test 1" waited for it to complete (with a FAIL result), re-ran MATS again and found my faulty chip :) awesome tip, thanks

Have a similar problem on evga gtx 1060 6gb sc it would hard lock with white artifacts and rainbow effect during a game but what weird about it when I wiggle the pcie power port a small bit the artifact tends to move on screen. Something tells me either the memory or gpu die have cracked solder joints closest to the pcie power slot or possible bad resistor or caps. But hard to know

currently working on a evga 1080ti Sc black im going to replace the fans and other cooling elements. If all goes well hopefully the card will work, if not im going to attempt to underclock the card. yes ik i should check for this error code but the card repetitively fails to send a signal to the monitor like temporarily black screening/artifacting and then just BSODs

hi, i'm having issues with my new 1080ti (inno3d ichill) everything's fine until i started to play games just for a while, it crashed and rebooted my pc (while playing something like metro redux it was running fine at 60fps max settings, skyrim, doom eternal they're all fine) should i underclock the gpu? or flash my bios?

Hey bro got a question about mats -n XX select GPU when i try to do this i get an error not sure what to do any input? So example ./mats -n 01 i get an error station to run ./mods gputest.js -skip_rm_state_init first i do this i get a FAIL print out then try to run the ./mats -n 01 with no change any pointers would be awesome.. Keep up the good work i have learned a bit from you !!!!
never mind i think i got it ./mods gputest.js -skip_rm_state_init -short then ./mats -n XX XX= gpu index my case 01 slot 01 or card 01

Bro I have sapphire r9 fury nitro 4GB nitro oc its work normally without drivers when I try to install drivers during installation black screen appears Evey time I try all version nothing but black then I have nothing to lose so I use solder reflow with hotair station but during process I damage GPU die now fan is not running iam done bro I killed it can u revive my card pls😭😭😭😭
