I been working night shifts for more than 15 yrs. I started in security which yeah got some strange stories but nothing creepy worthy. Then moved to IT job. Now I work from home and I like the slow work and shift diff.

Never underestimate how fishy Craigslist can be. While this is not a "horror" story, it just goes to show you to never drop your guard on that website. Earlier today I emailed about a house for rent on Craigslist and wanted to check it out in person before I would fill an application out for it. But the deal was that the owners claimed to be "doctors" from the USA helping poor children in Africa somewhere, and they claimed to have a sister that takes care of management for them...but she lives out of state. They said that I could only see the place if I send them a $600 "refundable" deposit, and then his sister would Fedex me the keys. Immediately I recognized it as bullshit. It just caught me off guard because I had never ran into a housing scam before.

Number two, the guy legit just wanted gas and was having a bad day. He couldn't get the machine on the pump to work and the kid inside closed the store and hid. The guy got pissed and banged on the door because he knew the kid was in there.
He was a truck driver probaly he needed gas to end his job in his situation i wouldve been very angry at the kid too

It's not real.
The dog doesn't just stop barking when they find someone. He basically says he let go of her lead. No cop would do that in that situation.
The dog being on the track would've known he was behind the handler.
There is absolutely no chance in heaven or hell a handler would shoot we somewhat blindly and hurting the dog.
He wouldn't even need to much anyway. A GSD has a bite force of about 250 lbs. You're going to let go if they have your leg.

I don’t blame the cop and I hope he sees this comment! He courageously went into dark woods after seeing a van full of bodies, not knowing what he was up against. He was outnumbered, taken off guard and would’ve died had his dog not saved him. It was very brave that he went into the woods after his dog instead of waiting for backup. I think most people would’ve fled too after almost being strangled to death and knowing there’s more killers around you, regardless of whether they are trained cops or average civilians. Heck, I would’ve fled without even opening the van! I’m a chicken. Lol. There’s a fine line between courage and stupidity. Had he not used his head, he could be dead. Also, who knows how long reinforcements would’ve taken... and if he’s dead he can’t give any kind of description to catch the killers. He would just be an 8th body in the van. I watch these anytime honestly I don’t get that scared cuz I can calm myself very easily (depending on how scared I am) and I know I have a lot of things I could get to slow them down a little or a lot to escape. And the fact they’d probably be scared of me more.

I worked at one on the side of a four lanes/ highway in western Tennessee and i always got put on the night shift and there was weird people that just stare then come in and buy like a soda from the machine or something but one night i heard a guy out back and i needed to take out the trash cause it was on the to do list and i was freaked out like spongebob taking out the trash at night because i heard that banging noise i went out there and nobody was there i turned around and across the four lanes a guy was standing in the dark and i only seen him because a passing cars headlights
