No. That guy obviously had some bad intentions. Just the lines of him saying “I watch you come out here often.” with an unsettling smile is enough to make the man seem off. If that does not convince you enough to get the hell out of there then something is up with you.
Is it just me or anyone put on headphones , lies down in ur bed , and when the story starts i just imagine the whole thing and i kinda feel relaxed tbh
Yeah compilation videos are nice when you want to just throw it on to listen to while doing other stuff. Let's Read and CreepsMcPasta are two that have compilation videos that I can think of off the top of my head.

1st story: I don't blame them for not stopping, they probably thought you'd murder them or be creepy like that guy was to you. but tbh I'd feel torn too. I'd want to stop and help, but then again, you never know people's true intentions sadly.
VOLAIRE'S MINION you’re probably not a woman then 😂 I’ll help explain. When you’re a woman doesn’t matter about the time of day, if you’re alone you’re alone. A man in the middle of the road asking for help can be very scary because if he doesn’t actually need help you probably can’t stop him from hurting you unless you have a weapon of some sort. For women, trusting strangers to not hurt you is hard. Although if you’re not alone there would be no issue stopping to help. :) hope I helped.
CASSPurr Waspurr I’ve decided that in that situation I’ll likely keep driving and call a cop to go check on them when I get service. (Sorry cop, you get to do the dirty work)
We need to stop giving murderers cool/mysterious names like “The Green River Killer” or “The Angel of Death”. We should give them embarrassing names to take away the appeal. Things like “Midget McGee” or “Bobby Dipsh*t”. Edit: Here’s one from “NowThats ATop10”, a person who replied to my comment: Micropenis Murderer
Teresa Finch ok what do you want me to do about it? You can’t control what people do. Assuming this story is true, what happened already happened. People move on
All these people that hear a creak on the floor or the sound of something falling off a counter/shelf in the night and immediately become alert and assume that someone is in the house have clearly never lived in an old house or out in the country. You can hear mice doing their thing, raccoons and groundhogs in the crawlspace and under the floor, snakes in the ceiling rafters, etc.
Probably the best method for finding a stranded person in the middle of nowhere is to pass by them but tell the police about it, you are safe in case they are trying to bait you, they are rescued in case they are people that are actually stranded with no bad intentions. Win-Win!
But would you stay around atleast with your windows up and doors locked? Just to see what they have to also say? I wonder cause maybe you just being there a complete stranger in a car, someone attacking someone might see that and feel it ain’t worth it anymore and to just get away now.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, if you're going to get an old car like that, you should have some repair knowledge, especially if you're going to go on long road trips
[Spongebob backs up car all the way to middle of nowhere.] Spongebob: Backing up...backing up...backing up. [car stops] Squidward: Well, you backed up. And you know what? I think we're out of gas. Story 1: To be honest, I understand the driver passing by, not helping. They're also one of us who watched too much horror stories with strangers who could kill you.
"Pure evil. I didn't know how somebody could leave another human being stranded like that." Sometimes there's bad people out there who wish to cause harm on others in the middle of nowhere. It ruins things for good people like the man in the story. 😔
2:08 "I dont know how somebody could leave another human being stranded like that!" 2:30 *Meets one of the reasons why people dont stop* Honestly, I once came across a broken down car, all I did was roll my window down and called "I will call the police for you!" while slowly passing them. I did as soon as I was at a save distance. No idea what ever came of this.
Because that's what you are supposed to do...call the police and let them know that there is a person stranded. Some people may think it's the humane thing to do to stop and ask if they need help, but there are too many crazies in the world to chance that.
Ghost Pix ye but that’s still fight or flight lol. If you’re in a situation you know you can’t win you instinctively run, the fight response is still there just not bein used,
I used to give hitch hikers rides all the time and after watching a few of these I thought I'd better not anymore. Just never occurred to me that I could be killed over a car and some money (perhaps).
@@mattc420 Well, in reality something bad is very less likely to happen. As I’m sure you know. But, I won’t disregard that there is still the possibility of that really happening to someone. So, personally, I don’t pick up anyone hitch hiking just to be safe.
As a kid I didn't really understand how people could be entertained by stories told by radio like was done back before t.v. Now I understand since in some ways we've sort of come full circle with audio podcasts, audio books, and quality story telling content like Mr.Nightmare provides. Just a random thought I had. I'd like that but I live on an island and you can find a house after walking 40 minutes to an hour on any road so that's unfortunate. Probably the only way to be lost is to do into the forests but even those are easy to get out (well for me not sure about others)
These videos are definite reminder to protect yourself at all times. With a lot of people common sense isn't so common. So this is a reminder to be safe and what to do in certain situations!
When I was on a road trip with my best friend last summer, our check engine light came on. We were in the middle of nowhere in Arizona & found a car repair shop that looked like it was shut down. We pulled up, and a man came out. While he was talking to us, 3 other men stepped out of the building and they started slowly approaching our vehicle. I immediately started the car and sped off. The first man tried to pull open the car door as we drove off and the other men tried to run and catch up with us. There are only a couple times in my life I’ve ever been that scared..
Yikes, I'm sorry that happened. :0 You can probably elaborate more to turn it into a story so you can have your own submission. But it's good you guys are alright.

This video inspired me to call and ask my dad if some of his “middle of nowhere” ghost stories were really true. He said all but one were embellished. The completely true story was about a place called The Black Pond and it’s creepy as hell. I’ll tell the story if anyone likes (Edit: y’all did indeed like. Story is below!)
Okay lol this is the story of The Black Pond My dad Rick was hunting off somewhere in the woods. He was in Alabama and it’s a pretty woodsy area. Rick was an experienced hunter too. It was really early in the morning and he had been in this area before, just not very far back. There was a mountain and a big creek that ran through the area. He knew that there would always be wildlife close to the water so he headed that way. The sun was just starting to come up and all of the woods were coming to life. Birds chirping, critters starting their day, all that good stuff. He traveled farther into the woods than he had before and came upon a small creek. It wasn’t the big one he was searching for, but he figured it would lead to it so he followed it. It lead him to a very still medium sized pond. The water looked like glass almost because it was so still. It was very dark too. He started feeling extremely uneasy and realized that the woods had become silent. Not even a bird was chirping. He suddenly felt as if he were being watched. And then he looked out, across the still pond and saw this big, black, figure moving. It was too small to be a bear, but too big to be a deer. Whatever it was...it didn’t like him being there. He turned around and slowly started to make his way back towards the big creek. As he turned to leave he heard a loud, pained, unearthly scream that made a chill course through his whole body. He ran. He forgot about the big creek and just kept running until he got back to his car. The next day, he was at the local town bar with a few friends. He was telling them all about what happened at this pond. A patron of the bar overheard them and approached. “You must be talking about The Black Pond” the man said to Rick. The man explained that what happened out there had also happened to a few other hunters in the area. “No one knows what it is that’s out there really. No one except old man Sykes, the retired game warden that lives up on the mountain. You might go ask him”. That afternoon Rick took his bird dog and drove up the mountain. He came upon the Sykes’ land and he and his dog Mary walked up the long drive to Mr.Sykes’ door. He rang the doorbell and the old man answered. “Hello Mr.Sykes, I’m Rick. I was hunting near the creek the other day and I wanted to ask you about something if I could” Mr.Sykes said “You weren’t at the big creek, were you son?” “No. I wasn’t” said Rick “I had something really strange happen at-“ “The Black Pond” Mr.Sykes cut him off. The old man threw back his head and laughed. As he did so, he turned off his hearing aid and shut the door in Rick’s face. To this day, with Mr.Sykes having passed long ago, no one knows what it was in the woods at The Black Pond.
“Almost getting run over and shot at, isn’t a experience you get over-“ *Falls asleep on side of the road*

Right, dude he walked up to the person to give it back but the kid ran so like any normal person would go to his house and give it back.
Exactly.
No. That guy obviously had some bad intentions. Just the lines of him saying “I watch you come out here often.” with an unsettling smile is enough to make the man seem off. If that does not convince you enough to get the hell out of there then something is up with you.
he prolly just wanted a friend. that girl over reacted . idc what you people say

Being in the middle of nowhere sounds like a nightmare by it’s self
It's worse for a woman to be stuck in the middle of nowhere.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc yeah I know
1st story: I don't blame them for not stopping, they probably thought you'd murder them or be creepy like that guy was to you.
but tbh I'd feel torn too. I'd want to stop and help, but then again, you never know people's true intentions sadly.
That single car appearing at first was in broad daylight though.
Honestly I wouldn't stop, fuck that. Pulling over to help a "stranded" person in the middle of nowhere is just too sketchy

@@biker6070 but that first car did not take up that option, and just left him.

Win-Win!
Good advice!
You're a problem solver
But would you stay around atleast with your windows up and doors locked? Just to see what they have to also say? I wonder cause maybe you just being there a complete stranger in a car, someone attacking someone might see that and feel it ain’t worth it anymore and to just get away now.

Because that's what you are supposed to do...call the police and let them know that there is a person stranded. Some people may think it's the humane thing to do to stop and ask if they need help, but there are too many crazies in the world to chance that.

Okay lol this is the story of
The Black Pond
My dad Rick was hunting off somewhere in the woods.
