I just bought an ‘04 Expedition this past October. It was $6,500, it had 123,009 miles on it when I purchased it. It only had 2 prior owners including it being used as a fleet vehicle. It’s an XLT Sport with leather seats and the 5.4L V8. I went to school (after I got medically discharged from the military after 7 years of service) for 2 years to become a certified GM Automotive Technician but I’ve always been a Ford guy for trucks and SUV’s. This is my first SUV but I must say….I F’ING LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! Such a BEAST!!!
The Ford Bronco was a 2 door, so Ford decided to replace the Bronco with an Expedition for 1997 model to compete with the Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe Toyota Land Cruiser and GMC Yukon. For the 2001 model year the Toyota Sequoia joined in the lineup.
At 7:00, explaining how a seatbelt works. Gee, thanks Ford... So futuristic! My God, now they're explaining how power windows and door locks work. Were people in 1998 really this uninformed?!?!
Believe it or not, it was well into the late 90s until all states were requiring seatbelts and I think it started in the late 80s for many other states so it was still kind of fresh in American car culture.
My aunt has one still running to this day. These Ford Expeditions last so damn long.
Nice- even the same color package as mine. How cool to see this. 320k, still going strong.
nice
i think i still have this video, oh the memories
Great Expedition. Today Expeditions not as rugged.
This announcer reminds me of Howard David, radio voice the New York Jets.
His breathing sounds labored when he inhales. It’s kinda hard to listen to.
@@TVHouseHistorianpretty sure Howard smoked 4 packs of luckys a day for 40 years.
Love this suv !
This Ford Expedition was sold from 1996 to 2002 for model years 1997 to 2002. In 2002 it was redesigned for 2003 model year until 2006.
