Hi, I have the exact same Rolex chronometer 6238 from 1964 and in mint condition !.. Alas, it hasn't worked for 2 days and I'm living to France and I really don't know someone efficient to see what's going on and fix it?... Also, please, would you have a good address to help ?.. Thank' s a lot and all my best regards from Paris )France).
A timeless classic. A chrono good enough for any occasion. Shame on the slights scratches - but to be expected for a timepiece of it's age - and omission of the metal bracelet. Still a beauty.
@@Neven2605 You're right on that point. How do you judge what is a high price and what is not though? It's not only about the brand name. 35k is a lot of money sure but if there are people willing to pay the price...
@@Neven2605 a $10 casio is a better watch than any Rolex in terms of accuracy, durability, and functionality. Nobody pays thousands of dollars for a rolex because it makes sense logistically.
Wow
It’s so amazing to see a Rolex design that you so rarely see
This might be the best piece you've ever showcased on this channel, Tim
It's better looking than the current one in My opinion..
The size of this watch is just awesome. I wish todays watches would be more in this realm instead of becoming bigger and bigger.
Agreed. The average person hasn't got that much bigger surely? The size of many watches these days is ridiculous.
Shame Rolex don't offer this model today
Thats in pretty good shape when you realize its 56ish years old. Nice one Tim and Co., more vintage please!
I have Never seen this Rolex before very interesting Video thanks.
This is the one George Lazenby bought to wear to the audition for Bond. Back of the net!👍🏻
Also wore it in the movie, not only at the audition.
only at watchbox! Tim you're awesome, always showing us these wonders and making us salivate infront of the screen
That one time when rolex copied Heuer ..
Shame the bracelets missing but nice restoration on the dial.
Very nice, it looks like a Datejust with the chronograph...

Look amazing
What did this sell for?
This watch is my absolute grail. I'd sell my soul for one in perfect condition.
Me too, except the black dial version for me..
Six figure chrono I reckon?
Not as bad as you think! www.thewatchbox.com/shop/4482675.html

You can get a Seagull 1963 for $200 which is basically this watch sans the Rolex logo....
Lol 35k$ for that trash 🤣
Curious to know the reasoning behind your comment. I'm sure there is none but please go ahead. Enlighten us
@@m.e5544 just because its a Rolex doesnt mean its worth the price, you can buy far more better watches for that price, vintage or new
