Just a FYI after watching thos episodes, just thought that if someone that watched this but had not watched season 2 you give up some good info like the addiction and mentioning Mariel as cristy's love and more, if someone watching this that has not seen season two now they got spoiled.
you know what's crazy and interesting to me, obviously as seeing the creatures the slow walkers i seen them as an aspect of horror to the show, but as episodes and time went on my thought process couldn't help but see them more of an aspect of representation of something deeper meaning, some form of representation of consequences when wrong decision is made in life, or the cons of ignorance or lack of awareness to life itself, but maybe I'm thinking to deep into it lol
At least you're another deep thinker. This series has a story we can compare ourselves to, at least most parts of it. For me I can compare to my feeling of being stuck in addictions, like represented by Marielle and her addiction to drugs. That is why I love this series so much it shows it understands and considers fallen people, people with problematic issues which block progress in life.
I think it's like Kenny said- there's only so many places they can move on the board so there's no rush. It's an inevitably that everyone will get caught eventually and replaced with someone else.
There’s something seriously weird about a post office not naming the town it’s in. Even if a magical being or alien creature was trying to transport buildings to the town or recreate familiar buildings they wouldn’t copy everything except the name of the town. License plates of vehicles name the states they are from which means they’re probably from the real world. If it were a dream the dreamer wouldn’t come up with states for vehicles and not a town name on the post office. The US map is quite detailed and no one in dreams would place hundreds of state and city names on a map. Presumably someone brought the map in their vehicle. I’m eliminating this all being a dream. I also don’t think they’re all dead.
@@BEYONDPREMIERE as I said, they wouldn’t transport everything except the town’s name. At this point I can’t figure out why everything is there except the name. There’s no zip code either.
YES- And the name of the school has been partly removed but it's probably "Celestial Primary School". There's a bunch of space/Star references in town- the Star Motel sign in Victor's flashback, the Star on the candy bar Father Kathri had, etc. Colony House is covered in flowers. Flowers outside, floral wallpaper, flowers on the mugs and dishes. Flowers in the wallpaper of the Matthews house as well.
There is so much proof that the lack of details are connected to the mind of a child. Adults know this, but children dont. When they imagine a town, they use their limited knowledge and visual memory to recreate stories
Cool. It's like Elgin's shirt having a black crow on it. Everything in the show is custom made and conveys meaning. Supposedly nothing is a store bought item. I think all the cars Victor moved are unique props as well- I see no emblems or logos or car names on any of them- no "Ford" or "Honda".
After watching the last few episodes again I'm starting to consider a 'Cabin in the Woods' type situation going on, the government/people in the know are having to send people into Fromville to satisfy the Entities hunger for maybe fear, hope or flesh and if they don't keep it at bay then the Entity can leave Fromville and feed on the world
Do you think the children that tabitha keeps seeing is trying to tell her something through the blocks. I think the blocks when assembled is the tower and when tabitha was in the cave they rolled a ball that knocked the tower down. So maybe they were trying to tell her once she gets to the tower she needs to knock it down/destroy it …???
Thanks. I love this series for the strong acting and the brain tickling mystery. Maybe it will have some time travel twists in the next seasons. In the series we lose track of time but I didn't ignore the years written on the light house wall just above its stairs. Maybe the weird trees can take you anywhere, into a different time.
What’s up with Rendez Move? Boyd’s trailer and the calendar from 1979. I don’t think the slogans match between the two but I can’t quite read it on the calendar. The trailer says, “Rentals for every need” and then something in smaller lettering under that.
High key it wasn’t his fault euthanasia his wife his son was old af he should have been able to restrain his mom. If she was having a episode that’s all the dad could have done. What exactly could the father have done
There's the Star Magic sign and the overturned car by the motel pool in current times but not in the flashback. There is no motel. We don't know why. No abandoned building or burned down structure- just nothing. Maybe whatever smashed the Matthews house flat in season two removed the motel during whatever reset happened. We see a drawing Victor made of a terrarium- a glass bottle with the town and monster tunnels beneath it- all trapped inside the bottle. Always bottles. Bottles on the bottle trees, bottle in Tabitha's dream on the lighthouse stairs and bottle in the drawing. And jade smashing bottles to try to find a pattern in everything. You mentioned the imaginary friend Norman. He was represented by a rubber finger puppet that is on the lighthouse stairs of Tabby's dream and possibly is the monster at the far right side of the painting in Ellis' room. The tree. Everyone gets a different Tree- the Matthews family and Boyd's family got different trees. But something removes the trees between people getting trapped.
@@Passionatelycurious91 We only have clues that there's this long history in the town, not evidence. Think on this- people are seen over and over this season drinking the water and then something "supernatural" happens. Elgin almost drowned in a tub of water and sees that kimono ghost. In episode four, he's drinking water with Tilly and then the ghost shows up. Jim drinks a big glass of water and suddenly the phone rings but his kids obviously didn't hear it. Jade keeps seeing crazy shit- usually after he drinks tea, water or the booze made from the town's water. I think the water is contaminated with something like Ergot. Ergot grows wild in the forest, causes hallucinations and hand tremors and paranoia. Then there's simulation/coma theory: Tabitha hits her head in episode one and has a concussion. Then she looks dazed in her dream of the Lighthouse, holding her head and sees Jim hanging upside down- and when he opens his mouth to scream, the RV's horn blares out instead. When Tabitha "wakes" in the hospital, she had another head injury. In her room, the blood circle symbol is on the computer monitor in her room- it's the hospital corporate logo. Tabitha is on the 12th floor- and in season one, Jim is looking at the wall of questions and says to himself "Twelve is the answer". Tabitha's head hurts in the car with Martin and is in the car crash- to awaken in the ambulance with ANOTHER head injury in the exact same place as the Ankoowie kids she kept seeing.... She's in a coma, in a hospital or something. I think Jade's company (which I don't think he can remember now) made software to keep people's minds active when in a coma so they'd preserve brain function while the body healed. Something went wrong and the dream became a shared nightmare instead. That's why Tabitha has her head wound and Boyd has his same shoulder damaged over and over. I also think that's why the Voices told Sarah to murder Toby and frame the creatures for it- he might have recognized the creatures as part of the software. Remember, the voice also had Sarah leave the door open to the monsters. If the monsters would have killed Toby anyway, why have Sarah kill him first? I think the monsters are people who's minds are connected to the software but who's bodies have died. They exist as immortal undead in the simulation. Boyd's "worms" were just that- computer worms for deleting old files like Smiley. That's why the monsters are fascinated with human things and why Jasmine said "I didn't ask to be like this". The Boy In White is some interface program or doctor (in white, no less!) trying to wake)save everyone. The Ankoowie kids were the first patients in the program and they've been trapped in there ever since. Christopher and others realized what was happening and tried taking over to become Gods within the program. In season one, Boyd flatly asks Abby's grave "What if I'm in a coma in some hospital somewhere and you and Ellis are trying to wake me up? The people stuck in town can't escape because they get to one point in the road and it loops back to the other side- exactly like in old video games. There's not enough memory to make an endless world so it just returns you to the other side of the map. There's also missing things like the actual motel. There's not even an empty lot or space for one! The houses are duplicates of each other like how a game would have. Also, there are NPC townsfolk walking by in the background all the time. Where are they going to? No where. They don't have lines and don't recur.
