Very well made. The videography in this is so clean and crisp, making it one of the best detailed videos I've seen of the Butterfly. This video solidified my choice in a compact stroller, so thank you for taking the time to create such a great video and review. Well done!
We bought this stroller and we are going to return it. The quality is really nice but there were two deal breakers for us. It was very wobbly (from side to side). Also its very front light so the stroller tilts back with little effort. It's a bit narrower stroller so the stability isn't really there for everyday use. It's not really an issue if you're just using this stroller once in a blue moon. Also the collapsing buttons are pretty bad. It's a cheap mechanism that they definitely saved money on. The minu has a awesome collapsing system that blows the butterfly out of the water. I really think the seat cushion is awesome on the butterfly. We haven't decided which stroller were going to but this one is a 7/10 for us.

I’m torn between the Minu V2 and Bugaboo Butterfly 😭 which would you recommend for my purpose?! I have a 6m old and 4 year old so mainly for the baby 😉 I did hear about the tipping with the butterfly… do you mean tipping when it’s standing still?
@@samanthahalpin8640 we ended up keeping the butterfly. After testing more pie at Buybuybaby and Nordstrom this one was best because it’s lite weight. Also the mesh/canopy doesn’t ever touch the ground when it’s collapsed (minu 2 had this issue). Many travel strollers when collapse the canopy touches the ground. You don’t want parking lot germs all over your stroller. The tipping isn’t really an issue for us cause our baby is small and doesn’t crawl around in the stroller. For non tipping stroller you have to get one that has bigger wheels and bigger back stance; but then they become too heavy or it becomes a two piece. We really have grown to like this one even after being critical. Also the collapse button gets better over time. Definitely get the bumper bar if you order this stroller; it’s a absolute must. Sold as a accessory.
I was torn between this one and the metro+ deluxe by ergo baby and ended up going with the metro, it’s honestly the best for the price! Such a great stroller in my opinion I love it!

I bought this pushchair recently and am currently trying to return it to the retailer. We found it had quite a big issue with tipping sideways due to its high centre of gravity and just wanted to share this information as I didn't see anyone mention it in any of the reviews I watched. If you intend to push it along anything other than perfectly flat even surfaces then I would strongly advise against this pushchair. I never considered sloped driveways, slopes caused by tree roots etc when I was looking at this stroller. I would also say I particularly looked at it because it was one of the larger seats and weight limits for a travel stroller, but when my 11.5kg baby leant to one side whilst we were walking along a perfectly smooth but slightly sloped path, the buggy did tip over. Of course I had hold of the handle bar so no harm done but this happened several times over a 1.6mile round trip. I can only imagine that issue getting worse the bigger your child, and it really pulled on my back and shoulders keeping it upright.
Thank you so much for this info. Been very confused on whether to go for this or the yoyo - was sold on this due to the easy fold/unfold but you are the 2nd person to mention the tipping so now I am confused whether it work work with my 2 year old. x

We are considering a Butterfly as our everyday stroller. Which would you recommend for someone who lives in a non-walkable city (we get around in the car everywhere but live in a city so don’t have huge open suburban spaces): the Cruz V2 or the Butterfly as an everyday stroller? What we like about each one so far (based on just watching video reviews online): For the Cruz V2 we like the bassinet add-on for the first months/year, the bigger storage space and the overall robustness and maneuverability For the Butterfly: the super light weight and compactness for getting it in and out of the car/apartments, as well as convenience in general especially as the baby grows into a toddler. Also the obvious benefit of it already being overhead bin approved for when we travel. For both we like the option of attaching a car seat directly on the stroller especially in the newborn/infant phase So hard to decide!

Oh i forgot to ask. By any chance did you get the bumper bar as well? I haven't seen anyone reviewing the stroller with bumper bar. I'm curious how it folds with the bar. Thank you!
I’ve seen a video with the bumper bar and it seems to protrude out when folded. It adds a little length to the frame when folded. I think the lady is on RUclips - Australian lady. She only does a very quick video. This video was great and very informative!
I just bought the minu v2 a few weeks ago. Is it worth selling the minu for the butterfly? Bugaboo is my preferred stroller brand as I have the buffalo as well. I can’t decide what to do! I honestly hate how cumbersome the minu v2 is when folded.
What did you decide out of curiosity? I just got the butterfly, and i'm having second thoughts. I don't love the seat fabric. It looks like it will pill easily. I saw some reviews mention this. The break feels like it could easily break. One of the buttons to unlock gets stuck. And I don't care for the "foot rest." It doesn't help that mine arrived with scuffs already on it. @@l.c1011I didn’t get that he hates Nuna. He just doesn’t think it’s worth the money for the reasons he stated compared to all of the options out there.
Hoping I could get a response on this one. If you could recommend one do-it-all stroller for a growing family that doesn’t want to have multiple for different scenarios, what direction would you point them in? Bumbleride Era? Considered a Doona but been reading quite a bit about the safety concerns considering the inability to allow the newborn to lie flat.
I would probably say depends on your overall budget. I know the Uppababy Vista V2 can go anywhere from 1 to 3 kinds with different configurations. We just got one and a clip in car seat for travel system as well. It also comes with a bassinet for flat back. And can double as a sleeping bassinet for first few months.
It depends on what you're looking for, budget, size of your car, and where you live ( sidewalks,gravel,grass,...) and how offten will you have to put the stroller in the car and get it out 😊 we have the bugaboo donkey and LOVE IT it glides so effortlessly on any surface and it's really easy to steer with twins. I used it a couple of times in single mode and it's narrower than the 2 single strollrs we had with our first son 😊
We recently got the Butterfly to replace our Egg, save boot space and for travelling. It folds up and down very well, nice and compact also. I’m 5’3 and it’s a good height for me. Seat is soft and loads of growing room for our tall 15 month old. Be warned though it will try to tip! Any uneven surfaces or tight corners say bye bye to your baby 🤣 no but in all seriousness how did that pass the safety tests?
@@ally4503 thanks Ally! Argh I’m really bothered by the whole tipping thing cause otherwise I really loved this pram. I might have to get the Minu V2 instead. When do you find it mostly happens? Going around the corners changing aisles at the shop?! That’s how we tested it yesterday and it did tip onto the 2 side wheels. How on earth did this not get picked up during safety tests!!!
Just curious, why do you need 2 types of strollers in each car? I already find there's very little space for groceries when I have the cruz in the car.
What car seat would you recommend for an infant and toddler all in 1? If I get the bugaboo I would need to purchase a extra accessory for the newborn which adds to the cost? Wouldn't it make more sense to get a Doona (cost effective)? Will a Doona be big enough for a toddler? I like the concept of Doona just not sure if I could use it when the newborn becomes a toddler. In the case do people buy a separate stroller/car seat for the toddler stage? Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated and keep up the great content!
From what I’ve heard, it’s a matter of your baby’s size/weight with the Doona - once their shoulders are too broad or they weigh as much as the limit, then you’d have to buy an entirely new travel system (car seat and stroller). Some babies last a year and a half, some don’t even make it a year! 😵
@@dolcman81 you can't put a newborn on the seat of the bugaboo because it doesn't fully recline, you'd have to use the car seat attachment whose use is not recommended for long periods of time

Which one did you end up getting? I'm currently torn between these two but have heard that the Minu V2 will need to be gate checked on some airlines which is a bummer for us since we were leaning towards the Minu before.
Can you compare it to the nuna trvl? Can either of these be used as an every day stroller if I live in Pasadena (suburban)? I’m a single mom and weigh 100 lbs so worried I’ll never use a full size stroller. Thank you!!
I love your videos there so helpfull I'd love to see what you think of the new leclerc influencer but I'm not sure there available in the USA
Hey Andrew! Do you have a U.K. affiliate code? Would love for you to get something from our purchase
Is the stroller comfort board attachment compatible with the Butterfly?
Yes!
Hi! Great review. Will you be doing a review for Nuna TRVL too? Vs Minu2 vs Butterfly
I haven't reviewed the TRVL in particular because it's not one I would recommend anyone buy. It's among the most expensive compacts but it's not worth the cost with a seat angle doesn't hold children upright enough and flimsy build. Also, despite it's name and nice fold, I don't believe it passes IATA specs for air travel (a bit deceptive in my opinion.) I'd easily stick with the Butterfly, Minu or Metro+.
So sorry to comment again . Now you have me stuck between keeping the colugo or switching. Leaning towards uppababy, butterfly, nuna or metro.
Important for me is child comfort and safety, recline and upright. Won't tip over (as easily), easily fold and open ( as I am hurt)
Go with the Butterfly
Will the butterfly still fold with the car seat attachments installed?
Really hoping to get a reply because I can’t find this info anywhere else…can the comfort board be attached to the butterfly?
No
Have you tried the Nuna Triv in comparison?
Can you review mamas and papas ocarro and airo stroller?
What is the weight limit?
your shots are amazing. and reviews too obviously! do you have your camera/lens/tech gear linked somewhere??
How was traveling to California with it? Did it feel stable?
When the traveling with the Minu, but continue to use the butterfly for other daily errands. For me, it still feels pretty stable.
Could you compare Bugaboo Butterfly x Bugaboo Ant, please?
The Ant was discontinued to replaced with the Butterfly.
Have you reviewed the Nuna Trvl? This is giving me similar vibes for sure!

When is your Minu V2 review coming?
Oh i forgot to ask. By any chance did you get the bumper bar as well? I haven't seen anyone reviewing the stroller with bumper bar. I'm curious how it folds with the bar. Thank you!
Dang, I actually wasn't able to get a bumper bar so unfortunately I'm unsure of how it impacts the fold at the moment.
I know strollers get scuffed up, but I want to be the one to do that.
@@abbieg2052 how is your butterfly holding up? I’ve heard the seat pills easily. My top 3 are the silvercross jet, Uppababy Minu and butterfly, not sure which one to get for our upcoming trip to hawaii
Where are they from?
Waahh, my kids are 3yo and 10mo, and I thought I was ready to sell my Vista and get a Minu-but now I’m not so sure!
What about Joolz Aer?
How old is your baby that’s riding on it. Id like to have an idea how big a baby will fit
Great review. How do you like this vs the LeClerc Influencer?
Please review the new Graco Nest2Grow stroller!
Can you compare this to yoyo2
There’s no bassinet adaptation?
Not for this one. A majority of compact options in the market don't really have bassinet adaptation, but the Ergo Metro+ has a built-in bassinet conversion feature.
Is that leather or leatherette?
Thanks for the video! Do you feel like the butterfly has a deeper seat than the minu. We have the minu and feel like my son is sliding off. He just doesn’t look comfortable.
Just measured it and the Minu's seat depth is at 9" while the Butterfly measures at 10.5"
@@dadverb thanks so much!! Out of all the comparisons no one has mentioned the depth of seats. Do you of any other compact stroller with a deep seat? Thanks so much! I’ve been watching your videos since before my son was born.
@@dadverb also the minu you measured is it the minu v1 or v2. So upset we bought our v1 3 weeks before the v2 came out
@@amandaeng8566 Those kind of have the deepest seats you'll find. The measurement I made was on my Minu V2.
@@dadverb thank you! Do you think the v1 and v2 have the same seat depth? I couldn’t find that information online either
Can you please do the mountain buggy nano
Hi would you go for the butterfly or yoyo2?
In my opinion, I'd go Butterfly for sure.
Hey DadVerb. What's your S-tier pick for a travel stroller system for two kids (3yr + 1 yr)? Great video! Thanks
Either the Cruz + Piggyback attachment (if your older child never actually wants to sit) or the Uppa Vista.
I like our Zoe Twin for my 3 year old and 1 year old
Greetings from CA! Just wondering if you have found the minu to fit overhead cabins? We have it but looking if I need to purchase another for domestic flights. Delta, united and America airlines is what we usually fly
Im wondering the same… i have the minu and would like yo know if its fit ? Thx :)
@@linabela2736 did you travel with it
Yes and it fit overhead
Interested in a Nuna TRVL review if you’re able!

I don’t understand why u have all the same answers to all asking to make a review for Nuna trvl, it sounds you’re so against Nuna, nina trvl is a nice stroler and it’s not flimsy at all and we used that everytime we travel. I also have butterfly and both great
Nuna Trvl*
I’ve heard this a lot re the tipping! For a pram that is really quite bad. Is it ok on hills?!
@@samanthahalpin8640 facing the hill it’s fine but if you’re sideways on the hill it tips
How on earth did this not get picked up during safety tests!!!
is the wheelchair can be attached on butterfly?
no snack tray?
Unfortunately, no. Not at the moment.
@@dadverb What do you think about the Larktale chit chat it has snack tray it’s a compact but not many reviews out there
Just curious, why do you need 2 types of strollers in each car? I already find there's very little space for groceries when I have the cruz in the car.
I got my Bugaboo butterfly!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Awesome!
Where did you buy it from?
@@etsmi21 from John Lewis
How's the fabric now? Were you able to take it in the plane?
Wow.
Love our Minu, but that folded side profile has me jealous...
I was suprised when I saw it side-by-side as well.
@@juliarodriguez2123 thanks! will the Bugaboo be a all in one solution?
@@dolcman81 you can't put a newborn on the seat of the bugaboo because it doesn't fully recline, you'd have to use the car seat attachment whose use is not recommended for long periods of time
Not reclining flat is a deal breaker
Joolz aer + is the best
I wish I could have one of that strollers. Im traveling with my daughter twice every week and i always carry her. Commute. She was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy. And we cant afford to buy such expensive strollers like that.she is 7 years old now and hoping she can walk someday. I hope you can donate one for my daughter.
How old is the kid?
