It is so nice to see the dogs getting groomed and poor Gunner was taking the most grooming. Try doing it more often then it won't get so bad and Gunner will love some one on one time! Piggies sure love the wallow.🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Gunner is mad because it hurts when you pull his fur. You need a better brush and you gotta brush him way more often. ((Talk to Rachel. She brushes Mojo A LOT)) I had a keeshond. (They have an undercoat also) He hated to be brushed. It was a huge job. ((His dad was way worse. The people who owned him said he growls if you get near his butt. So Nick had leaves in his butt most of his adult life😂)
🤣🤣🤣 Too funny. I really enjoyed your video girls. So many things going on. I had to laugh when your dog got the mice and ate it. Protein. Gunner is a beautiful boy. For us we also had German Shepherds and small dogs in the house mainly Pugs and Chihuahuas. We love you. ❤❤❤
I wonder if you could use electric clippers on Gunner. Grandma Doss uses a seam ripper on some of the worse ones or maybe use a shaver. Y'all did an excellent job 👏. 👏
Next time take one of the kid pools and have the dogs stand in them for the bath. That way not as much mud and they may like you to pour water on them instead of the hose.
I enjoyed today's video with you all , Sean must be working on the peafowl house I could hear the saw . To Hayden, Hadley and Hope I wish you all a great first day of school, it's hard to believe summer is over ❤❤❤
I love all three of your dog. But my fav is the shepherds. I have a shepherd/husky mix and she sheds just like gunner. You have beautiful dogs. Love your channel and been watching this channel since you started it but have been watching your main channel for many years. God bless and stay safe
God bless y'all I have a suggestion y'all might want to take the dogs down to the creek and give them a good shampoo we use the trail and main shampoo and conditionr it helped a lot we used to get it the Dollar general and we got a shampoo glove brush that works great to get the tangle out hope this helps God bless y'all keep doing what y'all do just saying 😎..
Hope, I did tge same thing when I took sugar cubes out for the horses. You have to make sure it's sugar and not salt. 😂 Wishes for a great school year for the girls. ❤🎉❤
Brandy I had a Bernese Mountain Dog that had hair like Gunners. Every spring and then usually in July or August I trimmed the hair behind his legs and around his ears because if the knots. It was just easier to do on a regular routine. I had to trim the hair on his paws to. It was a big job. 😊
Love your video, love how the girls got right in there to help. Did not know Armadillos smell. Was it dead for along time. Good thing it wasn’t a skunk
Brandi, I once had an Australian Shepherd that I had to brush out weekly as he had so much fur and in the spring and fall he developed lots of mats. I taught him to jump up on a picnic table and then would be able to groom him as needed. It made it easier for him to lay down and much easier for me not to have to bend down. You might want to try that with Gunner and even Gabby and Gracie. I have to say, Lily is my favorite of your dogs tho, she is so very cute! Love you gals and all your channels! God bless!
Grandpa at Grandpa Doss Farms has two Great Pyrenees they are the same way with the clamps on the back side and around their ears you basically just have to keep them brushed so they don't get matted up, they are beautiful and smart LGD'S. You have probably seen how much hair Rachel gets off of Mojo it's enough to make a second dog LOL.
Such a good time to see you and the girls washing the dogs, and putting water in the animals pots, and feeding the ponies. It’s just so hot for all living things… us too!
Brandi ask Rachel what she brushes MOJO with. When she takes out his winter coat, it fulls up a trash bag. I love how encouraging you were to talk to him. I still think you guys did a great job.
Great video today. I found using the little scissors that come in my nail manicure kit works better at cutting their hair. It’s smaller so easier to control, plus dogs don’t always see it. I also have a Furme pet vacuum that I use on my dogs. It vacuums their hair up while I’m brushing them and it’s not loud so doesn’t scare them. Thanks for the scream warning, but it didn’t work. I jumped and knocked my iPad off my lap. Plus I was eating a piece of meat when Gracie caught the mouse. I almost didn’t eat my piece of meat but it was steak so I decided to “man up” as Lester says and ate it. LOL!! Anyway, I loved seeing Hayden in today’s video but missed seeing Hadley. I met you and all your girls and your mom at the second Okie Expo. Your girls were so sweet and your mom and I chatted like we were old friends. You were all sitting at the round table in the back of the room by the snack bar. Hayden was working back there so didn’t really get a chance to talk to her. Hope was chatting away with me and you all made me feel so welcome. I’ve been following you since the old house. You guys have been a blessing to me and helped me when I was going through some serious health problems. I am still dealing with them but hope to see a light at the end of the tunnel when I see my doctor in two weeks. If all goes well, we plan on going to the 2025 Okie Expo. Have a great week and a good school year to the girls. - Sue in AZ
I love your videos and seeing the irls help with their animals. They are so good to te pigs too. I really enjoy your channel. Good luck in school this week.
Great video Brandi...Nice to see the girls giving you a hand washing the dogs and feeding the animals...Stay safe you all and catch you on the next one
Great video it is funny when you get jumpey over a mouse I do the same thing😂 my dog killed a mole the other day he dug it out and shach it to death all most hit me once I jumped to get out of the way. I had german shepherds they have a double coat . But my Pomeranians now they take a while to brush and give bath to it takes a while keep having fun with your animals till next time😊❤
Just wanted to give you a suggestion for knots. On Grandpa Doss farm her dos like yours gets the knots behind their ears. She found a seam ripper I believe she used to loosen the knots
Brandi, i wonder if Pearl is in heat? Watch out for the wild hogs to be trying to get to her!! I'm glad y'all got the girls bathed. I'm sure they smell much better. Gunner wasn't crazy about his grooming. I saw Dutch in the background working on the Peacock 🦚 aviary. Have a great first week of school girls. Blessings, Love & Hugs 🙏🙏🌹 Love 🌻 from Apex NC 💜
Good job grooming Gunner. He didn't like having his tussie trimmed though. My German Shepherd didn't like a bath either. He didn't mind getting brushed though. All the other animals look like they're doing good. Good seeing Hayden and Hope out helping you with the dogs and feeding all the other animals. Always enjoy your videos. GOD bless y'all.
I find rechargeable clippers are better than scissors. Its not an easy job that's for sure. Excellent idea Hope. Cutting in half will allow a lot to fall out on its own.
Scissors works great!kiddy pool with baby shampoo works great! They make brushes with razor blades in it so it doesn’t pool his fur! He’ll feel so much better! Next time try the kiddy pool!
Hi Brandi and Family. Hope is a great helper. She loves doing things on the property. Gunner is not liking you playing with he's back side. He is a awesome dog. Your videos are awesome. All dogs love a good bath. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Armadillo’s carry the bacteria that causes leprosy. Hope y’all scrub well after handling the shepherd girls! Undercoat rakes work great to get rid of shedding coats. You may need to try several to see what works best on each coat type.
Bet he'll feel so happy and like a new dog when he's done, maybe more time in summer months dog baths very month, with the heat they need to breath threw there fur don't shave his kind of bread just plan on spending time brush him one a week I would Shepard are more less a breeze to bath nice viedo so glad Gunner got a bath🎉
When you said you were giving all 3 a bath I said “ good luck with that “ but you guys made it look easy! I hope the noise in the background is Dutch working on the peacock enclosure .
@pamjones-hamblin I had a chow chow mix who had the same problem as Gunner, She didn't get the knots behind her ears but quite often the rear end / pants had to be cut or otherwise there was a very stinky mess!!!! Probably had to b done every summer when they shed you will want to do it. Good luck!!! Pam in upstate NY
When you have long haired dogs especially those that have undercoats invest in a long toothed rake or combs. Brush the opposite way of the hair and you remove more loose hair. You may also want to purchase a matt buster but they are very sharp and may cut skin if you aren't careful. Since they are farm dogs a good brushing once a week works. I can't imagine how they dispatch an armadillo!
My Pomeranian is under 10# and she get those ear knots too. My ShihTzu gets knots too. I am seriously considering getting a sheep shearer to clean them both up, and remove all the mess. The pom does not mind me trimming her, but Pepi, the Shih Tzu does NOT LIKE me trimming him @ all. Wish I could find scissors that actually cut and trim their hair. Love Gunner, Gracie and Gabby, and little munchkin Lily.
I share this advice, from my lifetime experience with dogs, including, small and large dogs. Currently 3 German Shepherds and a St. Bernard. I cross tie all of my dogs, like a horse to bathe them. They can’t escape. I brush them well before next step. Amazon- Free Paws- Pet Dryer 4.0 HP 2 Speed Adjustable Heat Temperature Pet Dog Grooming Hair Dryer Blower Professional with 5 Different Nozzles and a Shower Massage Glove (Black) This is my go to for shedding. Your yard will look like the coyotes hit the bunny mother load. I have groomed with this for 12 years. I sometimes have to use the baby spray on knots to help loosen. I use shampoo and conditioner always, then blow dry dogs completely after. You will be amazed at how much fur is released from the conditioner and bath. I hope this helps. Yes it takes hours, but how many hours a day are your dogs working for you! One of my favorite tools, is from Amazon- Pawsholic undercoat rake for dogs. A daily go to.
Next time you give the dogs a bath, you might try using the ducks blue plastic pool. That way you will not wind up with a mud hole. Also, if bathing them does not take the smell of their hunt and catch fun, rinse them with tomato juice it will kill the smell.
My cat has dental problems. Took her to the vet had work done . Before I knew it she was clumped up with hair! Took a bit but finally got them off. Wasn’t easy with a cat! 😂
💖❤💘💝💓I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!!! Have a great day!!!
It is so nice to see the dogs getting groomed and poor Gunner was taking the most grooming. Try doing it more often then it won't get so bad and Gunner will love some one on one time! Piggies sure love the wallow.🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Thanks again for another awesome video I really enjoyed it and as always I'm really looking forward to seeing the next video

Glad yas are doing well stay safe 💓 😊
A grooming clipper would really help for behind his ears and legs...good deals online! Fun, fun! 🎉❤🎉
I’m really impressed with your daughters. I missed Hadley tho 👍😎🥰
Next time take one of the kid pools and have the dogs stand in them for the bath. That way not as much mud and they may like you to pour water on them instead of the hose.
Great job girls! Nana needs to hire you to give Max a bath!!
Great video, nice job on baths🎉🎉🎉 just wait roll time😂. 69° for us in ILLINOIS where we are. Rain Monday.
WHEN WORKING with Gunner, use a seam ripper to work the knots. The skinny point separates the hair and when necessary the cutter helps too.
Great job guys!

I found using a sponge really helps when giving a dog bath. So easy to suds them up, and they love it.
Enjoyed watching you girls doing the chores Haden and Hope are pretty good helpers. All of the animals are looking good. God bless
Love your video, love how the girls got right in there to help. Did not know Armadillos smell. Was it dead for along time. Good thing it wasn’t a skunk
Pearl and Percy really crack me up 🤣🤣🤣
Maintaining goes a long way and a happier dog.

Gunner is such a good dog
I love the videos where y’all work together. The girls are so good.
Hi Brandi. Wish we’d see more of you on some of the family outings at the creek etc. I know you have a lot to do.
Brandi ask Rachel what she brushes MOJO with. When she takes out his winter coat, it fulls up a trash bag. I love how encouraging you were to talk to him. I still think you guys did a great job.

Great video Brandi...Nice to see the girls giving you a hand washing the dogs and feeding the animals...Stay safe you all and catch you on the next one
I sure hope it's a hot day with the cold water. Metal combs help with hair knots.
…and Gabby doing Mouce duty was pretty awesome 👍😎🐕
Percy and Pearl did look so cute together chilling ❤️ Glad you got the matts out of Gunner he must have felt so much better after 👍🏻😀
Great video it is funny when you get jumpey over a mouse I do the same thing😂 my dog killed a mole the other day he dug it out and shach it to death all most hit me once I jumped to get out of the way. I’ll scream, as a warning. Hope cracks me up. 😂😂😂

Great video ladies 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I find rechargeable clippers are better than scissors. Its not an easy job that's for sure.
Excellent idea Hope. Cutting in half will allow a lot to fall out on its own.
Standing the dogs in one of your small blue pools would make it alot easier on you.
Scissors works great!kiddy pool with baby shampoo works great! They make brushes with razor blades in it so it doesn’t pool his fur! He’ll feel so much better! Next time try the kiddy pool!
Get a Furminator undercoat comb for long hair dogs for Gunner. They also have a demating comb also
I love your "every day" videos. So fun to watch! Hi girls. Such good helpers!
Girls all of you did such a Fabolous job. Just a few years and you'll have college and off on your way.
I’m waiting for one of the animals to answer you when you talk to them!
I rescued two Great Pyrenees puppies, it a constant battle of the hairy girls..
Love how your family works 💪 together. Beautiful properties. Thank you for sharing your lives with us ❤❤❤.
Hi Brandi and Family. Hope is a great helper. She loves doing things on the property. Gunner is not liking you playing with he's back side. He is a awesome dog. Your videos are awesome. All dogs love a good bath. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Haden and Hope are big helpers. I love watching all the animals. Great video.
You really need a desheder brush the tines are curved to grab the fur and he needs to be brushed good when he starts to shed.😊
Armadillo’s carry the bacteria that causes leprosy. Hope y’all scrub well after handling the shepherd girls! Undercoat rakes work great to get rid of shedding coats. You may need to try several to see what works best on each coat type.
Just seeing what each other had for dinner
Stinky armadillo is the most fashionable dog scent! Unless you live in the northwest, then it's stinky dead fish they must roll in!
Blessings 🙏🫶🙏🫶
A rake (looks like a miniature hard rake with a short handle) and wire brush are more effective for getting the undercoat out.
Nice 👍 how are you guys doing today i like your Dog's so amazing 🥰😍❤️🥰😍❤️🥰😍❤️
Bet he'll feel so happy and like a new dog when he's done, maybe more time in summer months dog baths very month, with the heat they need to breath threw there fur don't shave his kind of bread just plan on spending time brush him one a week I would Shepard are more less a breeze to bath nice viedo so glad Gunner got a bath🎉
Hope the Helper😊❤
Great video most enjoyable thanks. Chris from England
The reason he is moving so much is that it does hurt him when u pull the hair out like that. It is alot easier to cut it like u did. U all are awesome
When you said you were giving all 3 a bath I said “ good luck with that “ but you guys made it look easy! I hope the noise in the background is Dutch working on the peacock enclosure .
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY and thank you for all the videos
Thanks for sharing. 🛁🐕🐕🐕💦💧💦🫧🫧
Love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals and the homestead
When the mouse run out I jumped like Hayden like it was running towards me.
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
It’s so nice to see you all working together. ❤
Possibly a thread puller would work to get under the knots
And may be easier to get it off if you put some shampoo on it and rub it
Hi Brandi and Hope. You’re always a good helper Hope. Gunner is a beautiful looking dog. Enjoy your day girls. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Great washing all of you on your dogs.❤😊

I have used a comb that has the razor blade in it to take care of matted hair. Maybe that would help.
You should use a comb and get the comb between skin and the knots so you don't cut the skin
Try using a kid’s plastic pool to bath them in. Helps to avoid making mud puddles.
Should use brush with lot of wire brissles, take mats out with out hurting much
❤
Hello Brandy, Haden & Hope. Thank you for sharing. Great job Gabby! ❤❤ God bless y'all
I cant wait for Pearl & Percy to have babies.
👍❤️👍🙏🏼👍
I bathed my folks Golden in a kiddie pool, she picked up huge ticks in the woods
My cat has dental problems. Took her to the vet had work done . Before I knew it she was clumped up with hair! Took a bit but finally got them off. Wasn’t easy with a cat! 😂
You need a shedding blade. You would be amazed at how much comes.
