Great Pyrenees love to roam. Also , the shock collars don't work on them really well, unless you shave around the neck. The hair keeps the collar from making contact. My great Pyrenees would even climb a wire fence. We ended up having to install a 6ft wooden privacy fence to keep him in. They're wonderful dogs, if you can deal with the slobber, shedding, and tendency to roam.
Hope, If U take give pigs a treat tell them sit. Hold it up high & they will sit for U. They don't have many treats. I have 6 potbelly pigs (Momma Stella, Petunia, JoJo, Charlotte, Bella & LuLu) This usually takes about 5 minutes to teach. They are smarter than dogs. I spray my girls when our good old HOT ARIZONA HEAT. LOL 😊 I take watermelon, cantaloupe & strawberry cut up then put in freezer bags. Put this in freezer. I put fruit in their bowl it help keep them cool & they love it in the summer heat. My potbelly girls follow me around even when I let them out of the big backyard while I water out in our front area & water our trees & plans. They think they are dogs. We had to put them outside as they got bigger & between our 4 dogs they all couldn't fit on our couch. They walk up & down our stairs into our house especially when they are lonely, want to play or think they need to get a snack. They also will play push the soccor ball or tag. which Momma Stella loves to play tag. Enjoy your pigs.❤

This summer is suppose ro be exceptionally hot. Do consider some of those Harbor Freight, black mesh, 60%70% UV ray blocking sun tarps . Use rhem like rain tarps but to block rhe sun rather than rain.

It also depends on genetics if the parents of a lgd had behavioral issues their offspring will also and because it's in their bloodlines they can't be trained

If Pearl gets out again, try using feed to get her back in, Percy, too. I was hoping that the feeder pigs didn't get out while you were waiting. That would have been a BIG chore getting them back in.😳 I thought y'all were gonna have the tom turkey for dinner? You should try Garys (from Walker Farm Fam) idea of "sitting on the tom to show him who's boss. It seems to be working with thier tom turkey. Unless you are set on him leaving. Loved the video. I tried raising pigs 1 time and the sound they made when the slaughter place came but I couldn't eat the meat. The kids were at the Mall with Auntie. They were young and we didn't want them to be exposed to the noise. Great for cleaning up waste.

Try catching Tucker and hold him down for a few minutes when he tries to get aggressive to show him that you are the dominant one. Sometimes it works.

Dutch while you are spreading the fence and watching the turkeys you should be watching for snakes. As you have said, they are all over the property.
