That is really crazy that Gunner did not bark, and Gracie and Gabby did not alert to those other dogs. Dallas was displaying subordinate behavior to the rooster.For Hope...it means he was trying to let the rooster know, Rooster is the top dog and Dallas didn't want to get chased off because he wanted to eat.

He's a live stock guardian dog. They do let him out to run some. Most live stock dogs don't get treated like other dogs. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I've been watching this family for years. They are great to their animals .
Gunner is a livestock guardian dog. They stay in the field with the animals they protect . They are a working dog not a family pet/house dog. They have a job to do inside the field. Gabbie and Gracie are family / property protectors that is why they are out.
I wish my Doberman's were as well behaved around chickens. Our dogs won't kill or play rough with the chickens, But they will chase them. We keep our chickens in a nice large coup area. Our Dobie;s are nice to our goats, and other animals. Just something about chickens.
