- We head to Midlands Raceway for the end of year Reedy Race and get to put ourselves up against some of the best drivers in the UK... So we decided to popalong to Midlands Raceway to race experience the Reedy race format for the first time. We got a good 10-15mins of practice on the track before the competition started but there was not much time once it started for us to make changes to the cars so it was very much a case of 'run what you brung.'
Carl was running the Schumacher LD3
Mark was running the Team Associated B6.4
Massive thank you to our race sponsors Rochester RC who help to keep us on the track. For a discount please use discount code :Popalongrc

Love it , well done chaps!
Cheers buddy
This is a life changing video! Awesome job. I will never be the same again now I know you can order extra sausage in a double sausage and egg McMuffin! You have my undying gratitude...
We aim to please Marco👍💪
Look closer and there is an extra egg and bacon added too
thank you - great video
Thanks for commenting
Love you guys hilarious 😂 getting your excuses in early you said it as I was thinking it hahahhah
Great minds think alike
If I had a place like that anywhere near me ... I would be there many days a week! That place is fabulous!
Such a great facility
The track walk has to stay if possible. Nice addition.
Good to know
GREAT JOB GUYS
It’s a shame there’s not an indoor big indoor permanent track down south
TORCH is a really good buggy buggy track in Southampton definitely worth a visit guys
Keep up the videos lads I really enjoy them
we will put it on the list
We really do need more facilities like that one. I'm near Oxford and there is a real RC void in this area.
Agreed
Thanks for the videos 😊
You’re welcome Aidan
Wah if the race went 5pm for sure feel like 10pm. I liked York when I went for work but the 8am to 4pm sunlight was a no go for me. But for sure such a good scene there ❤
Thanks for sharing your experience.
You’re welcome
A good video, but woefully short. I'd like to see more car running coverage! Where "South" would be good for a new race facility?
You can't beat a good track walk of an evening.Especially after proper racing nutrients, such as Scottish style eggs and my favourite,a bit of a cow in a Bap,Bun or Cob, depending on the location of the track.Like yourselves,I have decidedly decided to post serious stuff.Mark,I have a great idea on how to make a double yolker of the Scottish egg.Hope the RC cars are ok.✌️
double yoker you say... im listening
Nice to meet you at mcds and hear you getting the excuses in early 😂
Hahahaha
I absolutely feel you on the whole it’s difficultly to get proper practice and improve when the closest RC racing facility is an hour + away. I’ve got two tracks one north one south both an hour and a half away (more with traffic) and both difficult for me to race at regularly between work and the distance. The worst part both are also my closest hobby shop. Can’t stress enough how important it is to support your local shops👍🏽
We are fortunate to have several clubs about an hour from us … all are very busy too. I can’t even get in at my local now :(
Great video. Awesome next leval facility . Be nice if we had short jumps like that here. It really makes for some faster racing with less wrecks.
True the track was forgiving
Ha ha, you guys are living the life
Having fun
I would love to see you guys make a video about buggy racing setup, driving tips etc. I've started buggies and I'm slow as hell, when i was reasonably quick in TC, and I'm thinking i might be driving wrong?
Thanks for the idea!
It’s nice to see you guys race buggies because I REALLY want one but it seems like there isn’t many tracks near me 😢 We definitely need more of these racing facilities in the uk because they are great fun and I don’t think I know many people who hate it. Even if I can’t race a buggy I will probably get one to drive around the garden 😂
Where you based
I’m sure there must be something
@@PopalongRC Stevenage but the only track near by that I know of is probably Stotfold and that’s an outdoor track I would probably rather go for an indoor
That looked like a tasty breakfast sandwich. Or do you call them something else over there?
Sandwich roll bap McMuffin
Start your own track club
Would be nice
Is there anywhere down south that you can actually turn up & pay for a couple of hours practice especially indoors?
The Pitt’s rent the track for a couple of hours privately but it’s not cheap
Herts outdoor Astro track
Do you show any videos with the tt02 chassis?
tt02 yes tt02b not yet
8:39 Your mate don’t have a lot of luck with racing . Everytime he does a race someone punts him off the track. I’d get a new hobby if I was him 😂.poor sod.
I’m taking up darts
