Seems like all my old Radio Controlled Car Action Magazines always had Adam Drake driving mostly 1/10th Losi buggy’s and pushing the Trinity brand motors from the 90s
My local shop/track Adrenaline RC has become the new US distributor for WIRC(WRC) and is fully stocked with kits and parts ready to ship anywhere in the country.
Love your videos! I bought mp10e, b4e , and Xb8e from Facebook. I found b4e is the easiest to play, but the cars might not be in the best shape they should be.
Hey roach… I hope HB gets a mention… excellent beginner kit that can take the championship as well… theres always a HB rep at the track… please include a Hit Bodies review.! Thanks bruv! Oh I see you have made prt 2 already… I’m to slow 😂
Weird, looking around here, the Associated RC8B4.1e is 670, XRay XB8E'23 is 670, TLR 04011 8ight-XE Elite is 790 Swiss Francs. So much for X-Ray being super expensive.
Just to comment on XRAY's revisions, it's a crapshoot whether those revisions result in an entirely new car or a yearly facelift with parts that fit earlier models. To take the XB4, for example, everything from the 2016 to 2020 versions is intercompatible, with some parts from the 2021 version and onward also being backwards compatible. XRAY is probably the biggest example of iterative design in the hobby as a result, as opposed to coming out with an entirely new car that has nothing in common with the previous model like some other brands do, particularly TLR.
Subbed great vid. Always wondered about pillow balls in race cars since I have always run Arrmas for bashing and almost got the typhon tlr. Ended up getting a eb48 2.0 and super happy with it so far.
Bro please cover the agama N1 in your part 2 for C-hub cars. They added +4mm to the front shock bodies after the first batch of cars was released to help with more front droop/up travel. And VRP has an upgrade kit for the buggy that we are all running down here in the south Texas. The buggy is amazing with the vrp kit, and really good w/out it..vrp mallow sit to have the same amount of droop as other conventional suspension buggy’s on the market, along w/the benefits of cantilever suspension/lower COG. VRP also drops the inner camber link pointing positions lower. Lower COG means lower camber links. The car is extremely neutral with VRP kit, and rotates like a Tasmanian devil. It’s incredible. Jumps lower and farther..you really need to mess with one. I bet you’d love it.
Hi Roach, Rich from Germany 🇩🇪 originally from England, I love your content but would disagree with anyone wanting a Arrma Typhon TLR or should I say a Team Durango DNX8\DEX8, I'm not sayings its not a capable buggy but there is not that much difference if you get one of the top bramd buggy, As I have a large collection of rc cars but never got around to driving my Team Durango DNX \Dex also the Arrma Typhon on a track for years they sat on the shelf ,I made a decision to run them for the whole year, and yes there fun but my Losi 8 in comparison is a different machine, weak points of Arrma TLR will be its diffs over a race season it's also a heavy buggy , it's nice to try aget people into racing but its not cheap lol if you cant afford a race buggy how would be able to afford to racing on a competitive level? The hobby has become more expensiv over all, I would spend around £5000\£7000 a year on the hobby but now only buy rc vehicles I really want 😂, brands I run ,Losi,Team Durango , Kyosho, Corally, Arrma nd Tekno.
Funny how you completely missed HoBao RACING and their pillow ball Hyper VS2-E 🤔 , a high quality 8th scale buggy as a RTR or roller version . Better in my eyes than the ARRMA TLR .
It can't be because your in the US and not in Europe or UK . You completely missed it though , you can get it in the US . I presume you watch you tube , how come you completely missed it . Personally i think it's one the nicest buggies out there , with parts quality as whole , whether you buy the roller version or RTR version .
HoBao also makes an 8th scale track racing car called the Hyper VT , in brushless motor version also . Both race car and race buggy are available in 4S and 6S varients . 4S when racing , and 6S when you are not a track racer , but want a faster race buggy or race car for every day RC use .
wrc parts are not hard to find parts for they are at adrenaline rc raceway winchester virginia u dont have right info about the car i been running car for 2 years and there still a usa team and there are still support . they had team driver come from itlay to us. your reseach on the car correct. put about parts just because send it not sell them they are still available.
Yeah nice but al lot of viewers want to start racing. Thats why the watch video's like this. There actualy better off running a cheaper rtr because there more likely to crash many times and dont need an expensive car. In there case it doesnt give them an advantage to have an expensive car because they need to learn how to drive first
Very informative channel. By far the best music taste in this video genre too. Not having to sit through bad EDM makes videos so much more enjoyable.
Growing up building RC cars I always feel an amazing nostalgia on this channel. Thanks, Roach.
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend 👍

Also, in the Midwest, I've seen way more Mugen and Tekno (TARCAR and Sandpit)
I was not ready for that “hella” thrown in my there😂
Great video Roach RC, thanks for the feature!

I will be sure to put an update in the next video
Great video. The research side of your videos is very refreshing. Love what you bring to the hobby .
3:10 re: b4e on bumpy tracks. I switched to emulsion caps and it really helps in this regard and are a cheap and easy swap.
Love your videos! I bought mp10e, b4e , and Xb8e from Facebook. I found b4e is the easiest to play, but the cars might not be in the best shape they should be.
Just Built my Mbx8rEco and Love it, Only change was 5-7-4 diff fluids Per a Adam drake video i watched LoL.. car was dialed..

The Kyosho Mp9e Evo v2 readyset is great for beginner or new club racer

Awesome please make a history of video for 4wd 1/10 buggies please!

OUTSTANDING VIDEO 😎🦾🔥
Thank you I wanted a video like this❤
The best for the money is Ofna/Hobao imo. I agree with the TLR Typhon also good choice. Something you can bash and race.
What do you mean by drives aggressive? Like twitchy? Or loose?
Twitchy
Good Video Roach !!!
Thanks Lefty!
Great video! Accurate and to the point! 👍
Great video !

I'll be honest. I've never seen someone run a Hobao at any of the tracks I've been to in the SE

So kyosho and Serpent dont use the pillow ball system? 🤔
Correct
i don't think XRAY is actually anything special accept their price which is specially in been high 🤔 .
AE kits are the worst kits I have ever built.
Lol
