Same goes for the UK, like with any new idea, nobody knows if your business will work or not, so unless you test the idea it's kind of like a 50/50 win/loss type of battle. Another issue people would have is how much to charge for their services, just if they see they are cheap, then it says something is not right with them but if they charge more, it's like, wow that price is way over the budget range they had in mind.

Because you don't know what the preference of your first clients will be like, and you run the risk them not wanting or liking what you have on hand. I find it best to purchase as you go, and as you start to get a sense of what you need all the time, then purchase those to always have on hand.
