    Lovely work and interesting stone!
    Lighting tip... use a background of similar brightness to the stone. This will reduce contrast between the object (the beautiful stone ) and the background, and will enhance the contrast of the features in the stone.
    For this particular stone, a medium to dark grey background would be great. If it where a white marble, then an off-white background would be the way to go.

    Hi, food for thought for any specimens that have cracks in them, maybe try filling them with epoxy mixed with brass filings. I think after the polish the veins would look cool.

    Can you fill the cracks and keep pieces from flaking off by using super glue?

      I have tried that before, but the residue from the glue doesn’t polish well.

    You can fill the voids with epoxy
