Lovely work and interesting stone!
Lighting tip... use a background of similar brightness to the stone. This will reduce contrast between the object (the beautiful stone ) and the background, and will enhance the contrast of the features in the stone.
For this particular stone, a medium to dark grey background would be great. If it where a white marble, then an off-white background would be the way to go.
So cool. If only I didn’t live in an apartment man.
Hi, food for thought for any specimens that have cracks in them, maybe try filling them with epoxy mixed with brass filings. I think after the polish the veins would look cool.
8:43 can you soak it in thin superglue?
Very compliments much impressive work, but I'm very worried about your fingers...
Careful, people dont like video thumbnails that promise something you dont deliver.
Yeah, not quite what I was expecting.
Good ol click bait
Nice drz
Can you fill the cracks and keep pieces from flaking off by using super glue?
I have tried that before, but the residue from the glue doesn’t polish well.
How long did that first rough rounding take?
You can fill the voids with epoxy
IT does not look like the thumbnail for the video!
Also, ask questions throughout your video to your viewers. "Do you think it will hold together or have you seen this stone before? Comment below" 😊
Yikes, looks like rattler country.
The video takes too long....No offence.
