This intro is just insane. It's in my head like every day. I remember the first time I watched this VHS (late 1995) after having read U2 At The End of The World (and having first really discovered U2 in early 1995) I got CHILLS as he started rising up into that blue screen. Life changing. I've wanted to do this ever since. To make people feel that.
the thing that gets me every time is Adam's big smile to Bono at 2:19....the guy hadn't played the night before as he was so hungover he couldn't even stand...I see that smile as a 'I'm fine' kind of thing...I love that:)
Zoo Tv was a place were everything was legal , i feel sorry for this generation Zoo tv was something unreal back in the days , something you have to see to believe fucking legendary the best of all times
I’m 14 been a Huge U2 fan since I was 2 been watching ZooTV forever I hope they do a ZooTV 2 soon! I used to dress up as “The Fly” for Halloween when I was little and I would pretend to be bono all the time I still sing and people say I sound like bono
ZOO TV was an innovation in the musical world No one before U2 had created together with the genius Brian Eno a multimeduatic show before then! Even now seeing it is always topical 2021 😎❤️
Went to the show back in the early 90's when this album came out. Best concert EVER!!! It was a religious experience. I still get chills listening to this song.
It's easy to see why it was so hard for them to make money off this tour. Especially for its time this stage setup is insane and ground breaking. God bless the band for deciding to put on a show no one had ever seen before.
the all zooropa Album is Based in the time this guys ware in Berlin... there is a Zoo Station , in the 90`s was a lot drugs and rock and roll...just living in another World and time...
As I was listening to this song it truly is a song about birth or rebirth as they have said. The musical introduction is extraordinary and replicates the stage of creation, the heat beat to the actual birth. Such hope shining through the madness and confusion! Wow just mind boggling how these guys have created so many insightful masterpieces
I saw this live in México 1992, today, dozens of concerts and years later I can say, ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS THAT I´VE BEEN SEEN IN MY LIFE! VISUAL AND MUSICAL ANOTHER LEVEL, TODAY THIS COMPROMISE WITH THE MUSIC HAS GONE, U2 RULES!!!
There's that intro. What are you gonna do? You're in a band, you think fuck it. That's the lbest ever. The Vivid, Crash. We were ahead of this but didn't have the tech
Will be the best world band but if they continued as here, nobody could reach them. Because bono larry and adam overall look so cool with the cigarettes adam, the akyer egos in bono and the sunglasses in larry. The fucking bosses
I remember this when I got to high school in 1991 all the popular white kids where going crazy over their album achtung baby and they were all trying to get zoo tv tickets I could hear them talking in the hallways of school. All the burnouts were into nirvana who I think exploded on to the scene in 1991 also. In general there was just so much good music going on at the time . Music for everyone . Now it just seems so one sided . It’s like rock is dead .
@clearevil Zoo was u2's creative peak. 360 is their commercal peak. The guys are in there 50's now and I think 360 will be their last hurra. I hope I'm wrong.
@JamesGore1547 yeah now that Larry isn't doing the drumming anymore. I think the rest of the band AKA BONO HIMSELF wanted to keep milking that cash cow. Real d*ck move if you ask me
@MisfitMirlo What are you talking about? I never said their conserts are cheep? Most of their concerts cost more than a million bucks to perform. Geez!
Bono's like a Batman villain here. LOVE IT.
ZooTV is the best of U2’s filmed concerts!
U2 was.....is.....and always will be the greatest band on the planet! No one can touch U2
This intro is just insane. It's in my head like every day. I remember the first time I watched this VHS (late 1995) after having read U2 At The End of The World (and having first really discovered U2 in early 1995) I got CHILLS as he started rising up into that blue screen. Every instrument sounds fresh and spectacular. Bono is new Elvis. The history of rock n' roll has a great moment here.
Best tour ever made.
I wish I had been old enough to run away & join the Zoo TV circus.
We need this on blu ray ...
the thing that gets me every time is Adam's big smile to Bono at 2:19....the guy hadn't played the night before as he was so hungover he couldn't even stand...I see that smile as a 'I'm fine' kind of thing...I love that:)
That’s why bono looked over there to see how he was doing
anyone else wish they could go back time to be able to experience ZooTV live?
I wish! THis would have been sick! I was 1 year old when this concert happened.
I would, too. I was -11 years old when this happened.
saw them in Montreal, Zoo Tv tour, i was 14. First show ever. It kinda sets a high standard. One that hasn't been matched yet.

U2 MASTERPIECE!!!
ZOO TV was an innovation in the musical world No one before U2 had created together with the genius Brian Eno a multimeduatic show before then! Even now seeing it is always topical 2021 😎❤️
Warhol did multimedia shows with the Velvet Underground in 66 and 67. The Exploding Plastic Inevitable. look it up.

I always come back to this when feeling low .. then bam it brings me back to earth .. awsome
Hell yeah.. I saw them during this tour... one of the top 5 concerts I've ever seen still to this day
U2 never went any higher than this... it was their peak
the best opening they ever did.
agreed
Pretty much their last "great" album !!!
Its imposibble to be higher than that its absolute top

It's easy to see why it was so hard for them to make money off this tour. Especially for its time this stage setup is insane and ground breaking. God bless the band for deciding to put on a show no one had ever seen before.

the all zooropa Album is Based in the time this guys ware in Berlin... there is a Zoo Station , in the 90`s was a lot drugs and rock and roll...just living in another World and time...
Fascinating to watch this vs the When The Streets Have No Name live from Rattle and Hum. They were so changed musically and visually.
both amazing times and yet so different, hard to tell its the same band.
Welcome to ZOO TV y'all😎

"Four Irish boys chopping down The Joshua Tree .... out of a Trabant"... Best U2 song...
So cool
Inarrivabile
People who hate on U2, they don't realise... U2 did it first. And 30 years later, they are still failing to capture this energy.

I wish girls looked at me the way Bono looks at a camera.

There's that intro. What are you gonna do? You're in a band, you think fuck it. That's the lbest ever. The Vivid, Crash. We were ahead of this but didn't have the tech
Hard to find a better frontman than Bono
Will be the best world band but if they continued as here, nobody could reach them. Because bono larry and adam overall look so cool with the cigarettes adam, the akyer egos in bono and the sunglasses in larry. The fucking bosses

Zoo tv and pop forget it after that
Muita viagem
eu tinha a fita desse show, mas perdi numa inundação
@BezerkoTheCow I envy you man. I've never seen them in concert.
@VanCityKyle and still is! only for a restricted number of people, unfortunetly...
I remember this when I got to high school in 1991 all the popular white kids where going crazy over their album achtung baby and they were all trying to get zoo tv tickets I could hear them talking in the hallways of school. 2039 is killing
What live from Buenos Aires? This is Sydney 1993.
Still even better in 2013
Nice of Bono to check on Adam after the night before.
"SYDNEY TONIGHT"
where it was?
@clearevil Zoo was u2's creative peak. 360 is their commercal peak. The guys are in there 50's now and I think 360 will be their last hurra. I hope I'm wrong.
Well, it wasn't. Now in 2024, they ended their series of concerts in The Sphere, Las Vegas. Maybe this was their last hurrah? We'll see.
@JamesGore1547 yeah now that Larry isn't doing the drumming anymore. I think the rest of the band AKA BONO HIMSELF wanted to keep milking that cash cow. Real d*ck move if you ask me
Toby and kobe

@MisfitMirlo What are you talking about? I never said their conserts are cheep? Most of their concerts cost more than a million bucks to perform. Geez!
Thumbs up if you wanted a pair of Fly Shades cuz of Bono!!!
@mholdr He openly admitted he smoked to make his voice more "raspy"
Only Bono can make kicking a beachball at 2:07 look cool.
I wanna be like bono
