We had fun with the review but we had more fun giving the mini engraver to a young man at work. Unfortunately, we were unable to film the hand off but I had fun and couldn't stop smiling.

I am truly sorry but I do not have a K6, so I am unable to perform a comparison.

Hi both, Looks a great little starter engraver.
At just over £200 here in the UK it could well open up engraving to a lot of people.
    Take care both.
    Cheers, Huw

I was not made aware of the price, at the time of the review. Knowing the price, I do think it is a great starter option.

I will honestly say I think both are very good and I would use either one. However, if I compare them side by side, I have to lean more towards the Wainlux K10. The K10 shield is attached to the unit. Makes a difference when moving it around. Second, lasers are nothing more than using extremely hot , focused light, which is used to Burn through items. This causes smoke and lots of smells. Although you would have to purchase one, the K10 allows you to connect to a smoke purifier. If you end up using the laser a lot, a purifier is a must, if using it indoors. I hope this helps. :-)

Thanks for a great video. This trend of software moving to a monthly subscription model is BS. Many of us don't used software like light burn, photoshop and many other more than a few times a year. If you are a business yes a subscription is justified but otherwise it's just greed and a money grab.

I definitely understand your frustration. I work in the IT world and have always worked with new computers and software and I am surprised with Lightburn. First, they offered a 30 day free trial that gives full access to the program. No limitations at all. It is rare to see such a thing. 2nd, they state it is a one time purchase and you do not have to pay ever again. In one sense, it is true. You can use the program forever, providing the next generations of Windows and Apple are still compatible. You will not receive updates but the program will work. I chose to purchase Lightburn because it has many more features than the proprietary software that laser makers put out there. I am able to do things much easier on Lightburn so it has been good for me. If you only use your laser, once in a blue moon, you definitely do not need to pay for it . :-)
Thank you for taking the time and leaving such a thought provoking message. We really do appreciate it.
