Steve! Did you know there's an even earlier version of the Cosmopolitan from 1927? In Harry McElhone's Barflies and Cocktails, it's listed as "1/6 Italian vermouth, 1/6 French vermouth, 1/6 Swedish punch, 1/6 Scotch whiskey, 1/6 Irish whiskey, 1/6 Russian vodka." So I guess 1/2 oz of each. Sounds way different from the other two!
So can we use normal vodka and adding Citron or no need to add citron? I'm on a student and don't want to get a citron vodka just for the occasional cosmopolitan
Like I mentioned before, I am also a bartender........how do you make a Creamsicle cocktail! I have an novice bartender I am training and she said she made Creamsicle cocktails before......but her's is so unattractive in the glass!!! I think cocktails should look good as well!! My version does look really pretty! Any advice on how to make her understand? And again, how do you make yours? Thanks!!!! Keep mixing!!!!😀
@@StevetheBartender_ Thanks Steve for getting back to me! It's just Kahlua, orange juice and milk.....every time my coworker makes it, she shakes it in a shaker and it comes out looking like cruddy milk. When I make it, I shake the Kahlua and OJ, then using the back of a spoon, I pour in the milk. It looks like an orange and white swirl......very pretty. You really should try it! 30ml Kahlua, half OJ and milk, served on ice in a tall glass! So delicious!!! Thanks again!!!!!
I was just at a bar and they could not make it. Bar tenderd first night and she was not sure what went with it. Me either. I was 3 beers in and 3 shots.

Very different! Have you tried it?
@@StevetheBartender_ I have not 😅 but it basically just sounds like a really complicated Perfect Manhattan, so it probably works.
Just made this along with you. Delish. Added 1/4 oz simple syrup cuz I like it a bit sweeter. ❤I like the proportions you use. Thank you!
How about ketel one citroen vodka? 🤔

The flames orange zest? Gently heat the orange peel and squeeze it to express the oils (which are flammable)..
