I served in the USAF and I am proud of my country. Tsgt Quintello does a fantastic job of putting words to my proud service. Thanks Sarge and the rest of the band.
If you dislike this video, you better have a darn well-qualified musical criticism to back it up; because this is an utterly beautiful display of both patriotism and musicianship.
Congratulations on the beautiful song. I was just playing with the West Point Band and one day I would love to meet your band. Great singer, God bless your voice.
Beautiful song. Very heart warming. Going out to buy a flag now to place on my home. My son in still in tech school after graduating Air Force BMT and we miss him so much.
@@TheUSAFBand thanks keep up the outstanding work your videos are really great I wish I could join the air force but my recruiter said no because I am legally blind
Ret Vet here, in tears. This would be the song, vocals by Technical Sgt. Nalani Quintello at my future memorial service in leu of full mil honors. When my daughter is presented my flag, I want this to be playing. This will be the only moment that will speak to my honorable service. I was more than just a Soldier, I am a Mother & Grandmother & many other ideals & dreams, but will always love my country. So, after attending many services with full mil honors & salutes, I was wondering while writing my will & hopes for a subdued & small service, what small moment I would instead rather. This song right here played, while presenting & rendering my flag to my daughter. That would be my preference. I'm adding this to my instructions to my will. I want everyone that I love to know, how much I love my country & this says it all without all the rest of the standard mil honors. This would honor me.
Duty, Honor, Country. Thank You for allowing me the privilege to have served! God Bless Everyone! Freedom is not free! Lest We Forget! Beautiful Song. Very touching. Makes you appreciate all the sacrifice of those who served and pUd the highest cost. Ray Boltz wrote a song called Its a Honor to Serve. Thank you God for allowing me to live in a democracy. So.e people live in a brutal dictatorship like Russia and China. President Donald Trump please come back to us. With God's Blessing We can be in a good place and give leadership under God.
In this troubled time of Election 2020, this performance was truly inspirational and much needed. Forwarded to me by my granddaughter music teacher in Texas. A motivational song of the week.
I love this song. Is there a instrumental soundtrack available? We would like to use it and have one of our teacher’s sing this song during our Veterans Day program. Or sheet music we would purchase?
Is that a tamburitza at the beginning ? Croatian immigrants brought the tamburitza to the USA. Especially to Pittsburgh in Pensylvania, Johnstown and the old steel regions of the USA. But the most Croatians assimiliated fast into the USA communities and became loyal Americans like the Kovic family (watch the movie 4th of July with Tom Cruise) , the Kucinics, Radanovics, Kasics and so on. Chicago had a mayor with croatian roots. Rudy Prpich was a gouvernour. In Alaska was a govourner with croatian roots. You can read a lot of informative facts in the multicultural history of the USA. A wonderful big book. One of the organizations in the USA was the Hrvatska Bratska Zajednica, the Croatian fraternal union of Pittsburgh. Johnstown was called Ivangrad ! They organized help after the second world war and the USA donated a steel fabric for over 1 million dollar to Yugoslavia. There is also a book of prof. Ivan Cizmic, Hrvati u zivotu SADa. Louis Adamic, a slovenian American, worked also on the communities with background of the southeastern and balkan immigrants. Former mayor of New York ....di Guardia ....his mother came from Croatia. She spoke croatian and yiddish. Di Guardia was working in an American consulate in Rijeka, Croatia. Nowadays there is the di Guardia airport in New York. He is still the best mayor of New York. He helped everybody and not only communities, he helped individual people who had problems. Di Guardias father was an italian, he spoke many languages. He was polyglot. He has always defended people with roots from ex Yugoslavia, when they were racially attacked or when there was prejudice against them. He always said: They are good people.
Every single time I hear this song I am brought to tears. And I am not a born American.
Thanks for watching and we are glad we can provide that for you!

Hi, from India!
You know, when so many stripes gather in one place it usually means somethings going down. 😂
What does the flag stand for now? P.s. great performance
This flag... #love #FreedomIsNotFree #Sacrifice

The flag enjoyed its first official flight on September 3, 1777, when the United States was still fighting for its independence. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
