Your videos are great! Professional, informative and easy to follow steps, along with quality camera work. With your help, I just finished replacing most of the front suspension on my 2010 Dodge Journey. Thanks for the videos, really appreciate the effort!
this is case and point how NOT do do a job.. this is the 'I know a guy that can do it cheaper. he totally caved in the upper caliper mount, and the backing plate holes, you can see 11:30 where they are smashed in from being pounded on. then they dont show the part until after it looks like its been drilled out 12:25.. he holds his finger over the upper backing plate hole to hide this fact, and doesnt even install the 3rd bolt because the hole is too damaged 13:10. you can also clearly see the caliper hole has been drilled out. 14:18 verifies the backing plate bolt is missing. what a joke.
Wow! That is a major operation. Everything came apart so easily. No salt where you are. Did you grease it? Never knew there were grease fittings on those.
I’ve done this job twice and the worst part was taking the ball joint out and putting it back in. One time the edge if the cup he uses to push the rim of the ball joint in caught on the sleeve and cut it. Had to do it all over again. This has a specialty tool you cannot rent anywhere and you can buy it for a ridiculously high price. Long story short, terrible design. Never buy this car. You have one? Sell it and buy any other car. Another common issue: P2004. Once comes around, never leaves.
I would not let this person touch my vehicle. He beats on threads, does not use proper tools and damages components. This is incorrect instalation. A shop press is always preferred over beating on cast parts with a hammer.
I hate when mechanic do this... all this labor and install that tie rod end... customer going be back next week, wonder why I got the same sound, another 350. Thanks alot when you could got a new one instead. Typical big shop mechanic.

You can't do this without taking the knuckle and everything attached to the knuckle off?
All your videos are to the point and nicely explained. Thx

Axl nut factory torque is 118 ft ibs ....not 181 ft ibs
Ive been down this road . It took me about about 21 mins. and decided this is above my paygrade .
Is there a grease pin on the ball joint.
If you put the socket on the vice pad and then hit it with the five lb hand held press.
Anyone know how hard (scale 1-10) to just know the ball joint out with a hammer (an a little heat) instead of using an air chisel?
tire rod ends look blown out too..
You didn't show that you need to remove the 4 bolts to remove the cv axle from the knuckle
Put fitting in for greasing or doesn't have
gracias por compartir estos buenos conceptos; para el procedimiento correcto delreemplazo de la rotua suspensión; bencidiones.
Ok damaging the splash guard!
13:47 "now let's torque each of these bolts to AT LEAST 35 foot pounds... "
Great job
the 09 journey isn't like this at all the balljoint is on control arm and there's only a lower that's it
Fastest way to fuk up a tie rod is to hit it on the threads like that!!! Obviously this guy is NOT a mechanic.

+Reza Neiriz Thanks for the feedback! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Too much work 🙄
Great Job
Excelente vídeo, buena instalación e información , gracias por compartir los pasos de una buena instalación
Real mech would have beat the ring and fitting off with the air hammer new one are required.
Don't ever hit anything on the threads!!!
Put a piece of wood right ? In between too absorp the impact when he was hitting those threads out .?
I was fully capable of doing this job myself until he broke out the air Hammer and "cup".
axle nut is 118, not 181.
А нареть горелкой слабо?
if your just going to pound it back in why not just pound it out....
Has to show off snap on air hammer. They work great. It's not easy to hit ball joint with hammer it is easier air hammer.
excelente!!!

Too many hack procedures to mention
😲😳🥺
Do exactly what this guy did if you want to ruin your alignment 😂
