Thank you for the explanation. I'm a little confused at the end. Here, I added my husband and son in addition to myself. I filled out the form for myself, my husband and my son separately. Now I need to sign, send, and then print and save the form to my computer. Question: do I need to do this for each one separately? Hi. In your video on 24:47 you can see that menu item "Work / Education / Training" have only 2 subitems: "Present" and "Additional". In another videos on youtube you can see that menu have 3 subitems: "Present", "Previous" and "Additional". Why menu in your video is different from menus in another videos?
Hello I'm sort of confused by the civil documents requirements. I lived in the U.S. for over 20 years and deported and now in the Bahamas for the past 6 years. They want documents from the country I'm at now but they're asking for deportation documents that originated from the U.S. They also ask for marriage certificate when I was married in the U.S. So my question is do I still provide this information even though the documents originate from the U.S.? I was arrested as a minor in the U.S. so do I provide criminal court and prison records only for the Bahamas or do I have to provide documents pertaining to my arrest in the U.S.?

In the Previous Work/Education experience page, I want to try adding my second and third previous jobs, as well as my past high school and junior high school education. I did submit DS-260 for my Filippina wife, and included info into her "Children" section about our 4 year old son, who lives with her but he already got his CRBA (Certificate of Birth Abroad), his USA Passport and his Social Security. I did include him into her DS260, marking the box YES, to immigrate together with her. But they sent me a note stating that NO DERIVATIVE relative/family member can be included into wife's DS260, supposedly I need to submit a separate DS260 for son. But He has already a USA Passport. DOesn't it make him automatically a US Citizen? If so, does he really need a DS260 or a VISA to the US? If YES, he does, how should I add him in same SEAC account with wife? Warmest regards, Eugene.
They’re just letting you know that he doesn’t qualify as a derivative. Anyone with a separate case should mark “no” to the child immigrating with you. You don’t need to take any further steps

One DS-260 question I have is regarding the J visa 2-year home country service requirement - I did not fulfil the requirement but did receive a waiver. Should I choose yes or no to that question? You have to file form separately for each person if you won dev lottery alone

Hi. Thank you for your video. I am filling DS260 for my parents. I have some questions. Both my parents are retired. So I put the current occupation “retired”. Then the next question is “were you previously employed?” I checked “Yes”. Then it asks “Provide the following information on all of your employment from the last ten years, starting with the most recent employment.” It asks the employer name, address, supervisor, employ date and so on. But they were retired since 2006, which is 18 years ago. How should I fill the information here? Thank you so much.
Start from the last employment when retired and complete back ward I did the same I was retired in 2008.so filled upto 1998

Hi, I am applying for NIW and filling forms for my spouse and daughter. In my DS-260 form under 'petitioner', there is no option to select 'spouse'. But there is ' Other' tab. And it requires to put information on box and 'petitioner organization' name and address.

Hi, while filling the DS260 application when do you submit the photograph of the applicant or is it not required. Also, if I fill the application for my parent will I need to submit the application as an applicant or a sponsor or it does not matter? Would appreciate your response. Thank You for what you do.
Passport photos are submitted in the civil documents after you complete DS-260. If you’re helping your parent you still must fill out the application all about them - the person applying for the green card.

The first question about:
DS-260: Have you traveled to any countries/regions within the last five years? l has Answerd with No, even though I am currently in Egypt, and the current address was written in Egypt. I considered that in this question I mean another country other than the one who wrote my current address in it. Is this a correct answer or am I supposed to answer with yes. I consider traveling to Egypt to be the answer ? If I am supposed to say yes, another question will arise about whether my entry into Egypt as an asylum seeker due to the war is a problem that might hinder the granting of a visa?
The second question is related to: Have you ever served in the military? I answered yes, even though I spent my service at university teaching. Is this answer correct or should it be no, considering that I did not serve as a soldier, for example, considering that we entered a service camp? Thank you very much.

I mentioned Yerevan as my preferred interview location on my I-130 application, but after receiving approval, I noticed that the interview location listed on the Visa Center website is Moscow. How can I change this? I understand that previously, such changes could be made during the DS-260 form submission
You can try to request a change of embassy through their public inquiry form: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

When it says "Applicant Information" after logging in, for the Personal Information, Address, Phone, Family, Previous U.S Travel, Work/Education/Training, Petitioner, Security Background and SS#, is this my information that I will enter? or will this be the information from my mother that is overseas? I will be glad if you could help me this issue: I submitted my Ds 260 back in November 2022 with my KBL case Number, then I transferred my case to Pakistan and got my new Case number ISL, now I want to reprint my 260 confirmation page but the CEAC website dose not accept my KBL and invoice ID, giving me an error, "the selected case number and invoice... dose not match our records..."Please help
Update: for any one having the same problem, you should use your new case number (ISL in my case) and use the old invoice ID number from (KBL in my case)

So this comment might not get answered but I have some questions.. how long does it take for the green card to be mailed to you? And it can only be mailed to US, right? Like if you are not 100% sure about moving there, applying for the lottery is not something you should do I guess. You cannot win the lottery, get the green card but stay in your country and decide later if you want to emigrate, right?
The green card will only be mailed after you enter the U.S. A green card means permanent residency so you have to make U.S. your primary and permanent residency, you can’t keep it “just in case”. An applicant has 6 months from approval date to enter the U.S. After receiving a green card and traveling overseas for long periods of time (6+ months), U.S. immigration may revoke your green card if they suspect that the U.S. is not your primary residence.

DS-260 is all about the person who’s applying for the green card so it’s asking for your wife’s prior spouses but the civil document upload may also ask you to upload your prior divorce decrees.

They don't tell us why they have refused us. Please can you help with that
They ask that you provide as much information as you know and be honest. If you don’t know why refused just say you don’t know
