I love how you can adapt your creativity when things don’t go the way you planned.
I get lots of practice! lol! Thanks for watching!
I’m convinced that although I can’t copy your style in my own cards, and we really both like the same thing; I knew somehow when I saw the sizzix video on this, I think this is there’s, I just had a gut feeling that you were going to love this one! The spiral looks super cool and you make it look so easy! But you have worked with circular stamping more than anyone I’ve seen and that makes you the expert on the different tool! I know you had a great time and I’m so excited to see what you learned and saw. You are killing it on this stamp wheel!
Now I’ve been wanting the 9x12 grip mat from Altenew so badly. But now that I see waffleflower has a large one, I’m confused ! Any preference tips? Thank you!
I tried putting my Altenew mat from the stampwheel on the Stencil and Stamp base - because of the bumpy bottom, it had less contact with the base and didn't stick very well. It works perfectly in the stampwheel because there is a plastic frame around it, preventing it from moving. I don't know if the 9x12 Altenew mat has a smooth or bumpy surface. The WF 7.5x11 is smooth. Thanks for watching, Denise!
@@ardyth the Altenew one has a grid pattern just like the stamp wheel mat , I’ve heard. I have the WF mat in my platform that has no edges which is why like it. And I just put down a little tap runner on the back of the mat so it doesn’t slide. I guess didn’t realize that you were using the WF large mat. I didn’t know they had a larger one like that. Which do you like better for stenciling outside of the tools?
I don’t know how you always manage to figure out these designs!! Just love it!
Thank you! 😊
It never occurred to me to dry emboss the shadow part of a word die cut! You always have such unique details on your cards!
I think it's fun to do little unexpected things like that! Thanks so much for watching!
Love how you adapt!!! So smart!
Thanks so much for watching!
Love that you showed your adaption - we all need to remember things don't need to be perfect. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
I really have to remember your z-fold trick for large stamped images. Great solution, thanks for sharing👍
You had a craft retreat recently in Nashville, TN??!!!!! I live 30 minutes from there! It looks like you all had a lot of fun. We RARELY have crafty stuff going on here.
This retreat is definitely advertised and has been happening for the last 3 years (this was my first time there). Google Nashville Craft Retreat (it takes place at the Drury Inn in Franklin). I know that Erin, the woman who runs it, would love to see you there in 2025 - she's already started planning!
Another genius card by the one and only!!! That mind of yours!!! Wow! Impressive!! THANK YOU for sharing your amazing art with us!! And, if you say the sticky mat works, then I’m down for it!! I’ve been wondering!!!!😘
I love my grip mats. I have found them so useful. And while they stain (especially with CP red/pink inks), getting the 'sticky' back is as simple as washing them in soapy water. Thanks for stopping by, my friend!
So cool. Glad to hear about the sticky mat.
Thanks for watching!
Ardyth, thanks for the great demo. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Thanks so much for watching!
I saw the short of this process first and it was too fast for me to follow. Thanks for showing at normal speed, great result!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful card 🥰 I love your card design ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Thanks for watching
What an unexpected surprise! Thank you for another inspiring video. Lots of tiny accidents which you cleverly integrated in something even more beautiful. See you next time!
LOL! I was working SO hard to get it up yesterday for you Nicolle - my editor had a problem for some reason and I couldn't get it finished! Thanks for your faithful support!
@@ardyth It was such a treat! Thank you!
Love the card. Thank you for sharing! 🥰
Thanks so much!
Brilliant ❤ so much stamping, but worth it!
Thanks so much for watching!
Very inventive and unique. 👏😊💕
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful card
Thank you so much 😊
You nailed it! A fibonacci sequence! Love that you always have a fix for those boo-boos.
Thanks so much for watching, Lyn!
Love your card
Thanks for watching!
Clever way to ensure you could use the entire image (well, except for cutting it too short, oops). I haven't done another play yet but I just got some geometric shapes that I'm excited to try out. Now if I can just remember how I got my one sided light grip mat to stick in my stamping platform, I'll be all set to get rid of that paper sticky mat.
For a while, I was using a one-sided sticky mat - I just taped it to the base. Have fun! Thanks for watching!
Love this! Very cool. xxx💖💖💖
Thank you 🤗
Love it. 🌻🌻
Thanks for watching!
Great idea
Thank you! 😊
Yay!!! I’m so excited the 7.5 x 11 grip mat works for the stamp and spin/stencil by Sizzix. I just ordered one. Woohoo!
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!
Love it 😊❤
Thanks 😄
That's a brilliant way to use oversized stamps! I like the 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 card size and have scratched my head about how to use square or over sized designs. I really appreciate this hack!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I'm really starting to want that Sizzix tool. You're such an enabler. 😆
LOL! It really is fun - if you love circular designs, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Thanks so much! I just ordered a waffle flower sticky mat, I was hoping it would work with the sizzix stencil & stamp toll. Yeah!
If you watch my most recent video, you'll see one situation where I don't think I'll be using a grip mat with the stencil & stamp tool. But most of the time it's the perfect solution! Thanks so much for watching!
I'm getting more and more convinced I should by both of the tools you used 😊
They're definitely a lot of fun! Thanks for watching!
Awesome card! ❤ I love how it evolved. 😊 Thank you Ardyth!
Thanks so much, Sylvia!
You are so clever with patterns!
Thanks so much!
Thank you Ardyth, wonderful as usual
Thanks so much!
This is really cool! TFS
Thanks for watching!
What an eye-catching card.
Thank you!
Loved it😊
THanks for watching!
👍✌️🙏❤
Thank you!
Wow every week your designs are awesome!
So so cool. So enjoyed your creativity when making this card. I can see this with stars in red, white and blue for The 4th of July, a Happy 🇺🇸Birthday America card. Thanks for sharing such a fun idea. ❤️🙋🏻♀️🤗
That is a lovely thing to say! Thanks for watching!
@@DiEtta Absolutely, I was just kicking myself for not saying that this type of design would work with many shapes for different looks!
LOVE THIS! I was thinking the same thing, that it would be too thick to use a sticky mat. Now I'll have to buy another one just for this platform! Thanks so much for sharing!
Since this video I tried it with a red background stamp and the sticky mat, and the combination is a bit much! But I made it work! LOL! (would definitely recommend removing the sticky mat for red rubber stamps to avoid strain on the door). Thanks for dropping by Debbie!
I love it when you use supplies I already have. I would not have thought of the dot design. We all have those, don’t we? Oh. I just now realized you could use any of the eight spoke radially symmetric patterns to figure out where to place your stamps. All those dot mandalas on Pinterest. Of course other stamps will work. So much play in my future. Ardyth, thank you so much for jump starting my brain.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Great fixes.
Thanks for watching!
That spiral looks really cool! I love those colors, too!
Thanks so much!
I love the Z-fold "fix".
LOL! Thanks!
Well, Ardyth, you may have just convinced me to purchase the Sizzix tool rather than waiting to see if the updated Altenew Stanpwheel will accommodate 8.5”x11” card. I have a 9”x12” Altenew grip mat. Is the Sizzix platform big enough to try a 9x12? Can you test your mat from the original Stampwheel in the Sizzix tool to see if the door still closes properly and let me know? Thank you!!
9x12 mat will fit, and yes, my original Altenew mat works - because of the bumpy surface on the back, I'm not getting quite as good a grip onto the base as with the flat grip mat, but it could just be that my Altenew mat needs to be cleaned?
@@ardyth thank you!
