Once again, you never cease to amaze me how your creative brain just keeps coming up with designs to change up stencils! I love watching you create! Thank you for all of your inspirational videos! - Bambi (from The Ark 😉)
Ardyth, I find you and your videos very inspirational. I credit you with encouraging us to just play with our supplies and to try things out. Yes sometimes these experiments do not work out well. BUT wow, when they do work it is amazing ... and it's all an incredible journey. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Great ideas! I love the 2nd one and the one with the gold “flower” with red and blue dots. And I think that last one is stunning. Definitely needs to be made into a card!
On your last "out of steam" background. I love it. I think if you let it set a bit, you might see the potential, too. Splitting it into two small pieces, like you did on your initial usage, with a sentiment between the pieces, I think it would be great. Love your work and your creativity.
Gorgeous cards!! I love how you push the boundaries with your supplies so you make them work for you. I thought the final blue panel was beautiful but i love blue and teal. Pop a bold sentiment on top of the blue background maybe a few gems and you’re finished. I might splatter the background with a little blue flecks just for some more interest.
Your cards are fabulous! And yes you can use the last one, I have faith in you! I’m still shopping my stash or I will be as soon as hubby and I recover from the plague!
Well, I had this 'great' idea to cut it down with circle dies, and then I really, really hated it, so no card. But I will keep trying! lol! Thanks for watching!
I truly believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Your designs are just lovely, however with the last one you seemed to have felt you had gone in a wrong direction with the design and perhaps colour choices. Mistakes are just happy accidents 😅. If you walk away from it and come back later and look, I am sure you will find a creative way to display this background. White die cut leaves, silver spots, aqua panel behind it. Something will inspire you and you will get to finish the card. I look forward to the resurrection of your design. Happy crafting and thanks for your honesty and video. It makes us feel normal 😂🎉 Ps, I actually liked it 😊
What a great video! Reminds me that I really need to start using my stencils more often. I loved that last panel after the 2nd step when it was 2 shade of blue on the white background, but think you can still make a card with the end result 😁
Haha! I had a 'great' idea and trimmed it with circle dies, (and it didn't work) so it's in the recycling. I can always try again.... Thanks for watching, Liz!
Um. I had a 'great' idea to trim it down with circle dies and then really hated it.... so it's in the bin. But I've still got the stencil, so I can try again another day! Thanks so much for watching!
O yeah, another great video Ardyth! Thank you, I really like the last one where you were not inspired anymore! Maybe push the boundaries even more by making it into an rectangle shaped card....!
I just love that last panel that you stopped on. I'm sure when you look at it again, you will think of alot to do with it. It's really pretty the way it is. I'd use it as a background and throw a die cut flower in a similar shape on it with a sentiment. Done.
Thanks for another video full of inspiration! I think you made the right call with calling it quits for now. You may look at it again after setting it aside, and come up with a new idea for a card. This has really helped me when I am not thrilled with what I have created.
I personally love that final blue combo, I would have been happy with it, yes you did the right thing with the too many layers one just before it, it's not working I think. :) Love watching the process, I wonder(quietly) if stencilling over Patterned paper you dont like, would be a great option for using it up,.... hmmm.....must try :)
I have a layering stencil I haven't used because I'm intimidated but you just gave me permission to have fun playing. Creation is where I have the most fun so thank you!
Thanks so much for the inspiration. I’m not an artist, just a crafter. So it’s hard for me to see or figure a design, sometimes. But as with LIMES, you’ve given us a way to design our own. You’re a great teacher!
I don't know how you can think of so many ways to use a simple looking stencil! I'm wondering how many of your tries ended as fails? You always make it look so easy! I love the cards you made and the colors you chose. They are really striking!
This is all the panels I made in that session, in order, so 4 cards, one 'fail'. Honestly, it's rare enough that I fail badly enough to throw them out, so when it happens, I try not to worry about it and just move on to the next thing. Making cards for a video every week keeps me in good practice! Thanks so much for watching!
You are so brilliant,I’m so glad you’re Canadian❤🇨🇦🇨🇦 We really know how to stretch our supplies😉 Hey just an idea ..when you’re doing selective masking, like on your gorgeous single flower, if you use scotch wall safe tape you can mask off the jacks but still see through to help place your red and blue circles. What do you think? Hope you don’t mind me saying that🤗💖 Love your creativity Ardyth🤩🤩🤩🤩
I definitely loved that last stenciling you did, I thought it looked amazing. I think you should make it into a card. Your ideas are inspirational, thank you.
You are such a fantastic artist! Thank you for sharing with us. I appreciate every idea you share because while I love to make cards and scrapbook pages, many times I can be artistically challenged. 😂
You amaze me with the way you can move through your ideas. And they make perfect sense! I can't do that. I keep going and end up way overboard. But I love to watch you do it!
Really liked all these tips! Loved that single flower with all the dimension from ink. I would cut a single flower from that last panel and add it to a card. Even if you don't love it as a background, it is still useful and lovely.
As soon as I saw this stencil set I thought the outline and the stripes would make peppermint swirls one in red and white. Now I have to try and find this stencil set in Australia. Thanks ardyth.
I love the Altenew small, mini and micro brushes - the small ones are easy (for me) to hold, and give lots of control since there's no handle (plus they're easy to store). The mini and micro are good for getting into smaller areas. Thanks for watching!
My favourite one was the one you stopped on at the end. I'd likely use a circle die & cut one full flower out to make that my focal point for a CAS style card, add a diamante to the middle of the flower. Can even trim down another part, stamp sentiment on white card & mount to extra cut strip & throw some Splatters on for good luck. That's just my idea 🙂
that pink and green circle card was screaming my name! I am all about those colors! Excellent!
I have so many stencils and I’ve never thought of using them so creatively. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks so much for watching!
The panel that wasnt made into a card: I loved it, navy blue instead of the green made it much better.
Thanks so much!

Again you’ve created some gorgeous, unique cards. Thx for the great tips Ardyth!

That's high praise! Thanks so much for watching!
I love the last card
Thanks so much for watching!
I love the last one you did, that you weren't sure about.
Thank you!

Thank you so much 😀

3 & 5 are my favorite, but #6 could easily become a mandala. 😊💛
Interesting.. I'll have to give that a try! Thanks so much for watching!
I like the blue one

Thanks so much!
Oh please make a card out of the last one. That is my favorite one!!!💙
Thanks so much for watching!
As soon as I saw this stencil set I thought the outline and the stripes would make peppermint swirls one in red and white. Now I have to try and find this stencil set in Australia. Thanks ardyth.
Oh that's a great idea! Thanks so much for watching!
I don't think the last result is bad, especially if you cut it down. I think you saved it!
Thanks so much - I killed it when I trimmed it so it went in the recycling! lol! Thanks so much for watching!
You just amaze me with your creativity, Ardyth! Great ideas and cards.
Thank you so much!
I'm out of town watching this, and now I can't wait to get home and pull out my stencils! Thank you for the inspiration once again!

I have not really stenciled since the 80s. But you sure make me want to do it again!
It's fun! Thanks so much for watching!
What type of brushes are you using on these cards?
