Hi! At 2:20 the rotors clicking noise it’s normal? My 126610LV do the same when shaken by hand. A little small click in every 2 whole rotor turn. Thank you!
Yes normal, it is not the rotor itself that clicks but the gear that maintained the spring loaded, basicly a click means that you are loading the spring.
Yes it should be much more quiet than our seiko watches. There’s a marked difference in the winding experience i have with my 124060 and my turtle. lol
is it normal for 3235 to auto date change at the precise stroke of midnight? on my SD43 it does it between 12:03 and 12:05. Should i take it in for maintenance/repair. New, still under warranty. Thx
Hi, this is normal, no mechanical watch will do the exact same date change every time. There are many factors involved. Also, winding the crown by hand to get the date to change, will give different results to letting it run naturally.
I think the big issue is the 2nd joint losing lubricant and therefore losing time faster than advertised. This seems to be happening a lot with the RSC seeing more warranty repairs for it. The other problem is now there’s no real change or repair of a part. It’s a “replace the the whole thing” per overhaul. I think people may get sticker shock when their 10 year overhaul is more like 4-6 ( whereas it was recommended 5 but really 7-10 on the 3135) and the cost is not 1,000, but 2-3k USD to replace the innards. Like all new things, there will be much tweaking before 3135 perfection.
Do you know why not all 3235’s have this problem? I’m picking up a 126610ln this week, do you think there’s a big risk that mine will start deteriorating after 6-12 months aswell?
@@erikmartensson4634 I saw only one video on youtube witch shows cal 3235 is not keeping a good time. The video is about DJ 41mm. The DJ was equipped with the new caliber 3235 already in 2016. Like any mechanism of each manufacture may have some drawbacks during the teething period. The Submariner received the new movement for the first time in 2020, i.e. after almost 5 years of production. If there was anything to improve, Rolex should do that already. Enjoy your new Submariner!
This is normal, not only for 3235, but also for other movements and other companies. When the main spring is not wound well enough, the second hand may retract when you set the time and turn the crown in the opposite direction. In 3235 this second hand move should disappear when you wearing the watch or wind the watch at least 20-25 turns of the crown.
Observing the work of the entire movement , especially the balance and the balance spring 2:57 -3:17 is a great pleasure. I believe the weaknesses of the second pivot of the entire 32xx series will soon be permanently eliminated. Overall stunning new gen movement 3235. Bravo Rolex. A great presentation of a very respectable watch. Bravo MTS !
This movement looks so nice to me. Rivals the Omega in terms of just looks. I know Rolex will never make clear case backs but they should. The previous movement did not look bad as well.
The finishing on a Rolex is better than on Omega, no contest. You take an Omega apart and you’ll just see everything is sandblasted. You take apart a Rolex and there’s engine turning perlage everywhere.
i wonder why rolexes have no open backs, they say its because of functionality, but thats BS, there are helium filled tissot seastars which can go 600m deep and have open backs.
Does it have a low amplitude?
incredible workmanship .. finish work, they've come such a long way since the 70's and 80's
Hundreds of pieces working in to perfection in order to keep time.
Amazing !!

Changing the date at 2:00?
look at that balance wheel beats like a heart
The balance just rotates,
the parachrom hairspring , beats like a heart ;)
I have this movement and it's the best watch and rolex movement i've ever worn.
Should not there be a clicking noise while winding? Is it normal for it to be that quite?
Yes it should be much more quiet than our seiko watches. There’s a marked difference in the winding experience i have with my 124060 and my turtle. lol

Hi, mine 3285 does the same (around 12:06). AD told me that its normal

@@watchmaked9467 thx a lot for the clarification.

And what are we tweaking exactly to achieve perfection?
Stunning detailed videography.
In depth please..
Excellent video quality
Seconds hand backlash when setting the time anti-clockwise - is this normal for 3235?

Why are you setting the anti-clockwise in the first place?
Not a good as the 3135 unfortunately
To service or the running of the complete watch the gear train and the setting

Omega has better movement finishing.

Rolex Chronergy movements look unreal

Almost half way through before they even unscrew the case back then all we see is winding the watch. ☹️
When will Rolex fix the 32xx low amplitude problem, buying a modern piece from them is a crapshoot.
That bezel alignment = 🤮
😍🤑
Are those component made of 18k gold?
If they are, I am happy.
They are not.too soft.wont last i think they are brass
Tabs and screws… yikes…I’ll keep my 3135
It's probably a better caliber,
So longer power reserve and Chronergy escapement is worse? hope you didn’t typed this comment with an 90s phone
Dietro ad Omega ,ma addirittura lo metto dietro ai nuovi Seiko.
ma per favore!
