@@xnot_cinnamonrollx6665 Looks like someone’s not kanaka maoli & doesn’t understand what it’s like having everyone thinking they’re entitled to exploit your culture.
@@The.Hawaiian.Kingdom You’re correct, I’m not part of that demographic nor have I ever said I was, but guess what? When the show comes out, I’ll be jumping for joy. And in all honesty I’m sorry you feel that way, and it's true your culture is being exploited. If the show turns out to be a failure, I’ll personally return and apologize to you. But if it doesn’t, you won’t hear anything from me. At the same time, it seems like you’re also disrespecting the culture of Cirque du Soleil, which I do not appreciate. I feel like you’re attacking my culture, which is very wrong. If you could stop doing that, that would be greatly appreciated. ❤️
@@xnot_cinnamonrollx6665 As expected, someone not of a culture feeling entitled to oblige people OF that culture to succumb to their views… same people, different day. There’s no need to come back & apologize, truly, I don’t value your opinion, I think I’ve made that clear, so I obviously won’t value your apology, however disingenuous I’m sure it would be, either. I also don’t care if you disapprove or “do not appreciate” my opinion on your “cultures” disrespect & exploitative practices of indigenous aboriginal peoples, if you take issue with me calling out such predatory practices, that’s something you should work on… privately. You’re also not entitled to respect that you refuse to give in turn.
@@The.Hawaiian.Kingdom You’re acting as if this is all Cirque du Soleil’s problem, and it’s really not. They’re just using a theater that’s been there for years. Foreign people have been coming to Hawaii for a long time now. Yes, I am disrespectful; that’s just who I am. And you know what? I wouldn’t apologize even if the show were going to be a failure (which it’s not-check the ticket sales). I was just trying to be nice before. But clearly, I’m not a very nice person because I’m “rude and disrespectful.” Best believe I’ll be at the premiere, supporting Cirque du Soleil all the way end of conversation and nice talking to you. 🥰❤️
Not sure roller skates are "authentic?"
Imagine a cirque exploiting the African culture where “nearly half of the cast are FROM Africa” but they’re all white or Asian. 🤔🤦🏽♀️
Looks like someone’s a hater….
