This really is the most simple to understand install with vacum lines and bolts located I have seen so far. I've researched this for at least a year on youtube. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and break out the tools again. Thanks.

I’m doing this egr delete right now actually, and the nut that’s on the very bottom of the tube where you needed a crescent wrench is what I’m having issues with. My AC line is directly in the way of that nut, how did you go around it? If what I said makes any sense. It’s the tube that doesn’t have the ribbed stuff of it, I believe it’s on the bottom of the exhaust manifold. Again, sorry if this doesn’t make sense lol I just woke up and went to work
I don’t believe I had an a/c line in the way. The way I filmed it I didn’t move anything out of the way before hand. I’m not exactly sure how to work around an a/c line but you can move it slightly doing your best not to bend it completely. Because there wasn’t a line in the way of mine I’m not 100% sure how to answer. Sorry for the delayed response
How is your truck running now that you have had some time with the delete? I wasn't planning to do a delete until I removed the intake plenum to replace the valve cover gaskets and realized how much better life could be without all that crap in the way. Yet, I still have concerns as some people are saying the delete can hurt the engine over time because you are removing the protection for pre-detonation. There seem to be two camps on it.
Truck has been doing great. I haven’t had any issues out of it. Not really any kind of performance gain, just to get it out of the way pretty much. Only had a few months with it and now almost a year without it couldn’t say I don’t notice anything drastic. Overall still runs great
@@wesleymoore1004 hello I did the egr delete and the engine runs smoother and I feel the truck running more agile as if I was running with a large load on the truck before egr delete, but now man what a difference, but the only complaint is that I see the truck running with ooor gas mileage. Did you Get the same issue low gas mileage after the egr delete?
@@gabrielsandoval5873 i would do a full tuneup first, begin with sea foam in the throttle body, gas tank and crank case then run it for a couple of weeks, then do the oil change, oil filter change, air filter change, gas filter and maybe look into the mass air flow sensor adjustment, and only then I would regiment the EGR delete, now I felt a noticeable change in my trucks handling after the EGR delete

Did you remove the air boxes near the air filter housing??
So you took the tire off. What about the socket set you used ? I’m having hell w the bolts down low and the one 14 mil at the firewall

What did you do with the 5/8 cap?
I believe it’s for the line that goes to the air box but I couldn’t find where it leads and I never put it on

It lowers combustion temperature and reduces pinging/detonation.
