We moved to the GP area from Winnipeg 15 years ago, and we found the cost of living up here in northern Alberta to be so much higher! I think Winnipeg is still a much more affordable cost of living. The job market isn't as good there as here in Alberta, Alberta usually has a lot more jobs available.

Have you ever driven through Taylor Estates on the south south side of GP? We like to drive through there a couple times a year! Those places are huge! It's where most of the Dream Homes are built every year.
