“Rajin didn’t order me the super-sized meal when it was safe to do so, and so I had to intervene and mark this as a serious fault. If he used the Ultimate Driving Course he would have known what I like to order at McDonald’s”
I think it's a great thing to teach in the latter stages. During a recent lesson my instructors car was getting low on fuel, so I asked him to include filling the tank as part of the lesson. We've also taken the car through a carwash. Sounds stupid but now I don't worry about coping after I pass my test. If it's something you'll do regularly why not cover it during a lesson? Obviously only do this when the learner is quite proficient, not when they're first starting.
Love that Pin recognises this is *THE* rite of passage for a newly qualified driver in the UK: especially if you're young, there's a sense of pride and freedom in driving your mates to McD's. I wasn't young when I learned but even I was at the drive-thru within two hours of passing 😂.
lol I only did it in the last couple months and I've had my license for 6 years but didn't drive much after passing and then only got a new car recently, so yeah it's something I've been wanting to do once I could drive again :D Only thing is I went at like 11:30pm and they forgot my dips
Stuff like this is what separates you from other instructors. Yes you may not need this for your test but these scenarios will make you a more confident driver and more importantly a more skilled driver.
Really enjoyed this content pin! Think it's so easy for people to forget once you pass your test when you start driving independently to remember the skills you learnt whilst you might have distractions in your car such as young children what you wouldn't have to incorporate during lessons. More of this please! I think it would help a lot of new drivers, especially young parents. X
I found it funny but interesting,I like the passengers behind they so excited for the McDonald 😂I’m so laughing for the kids ordering 😂😂😂you did it so well xx
I met pin outside test centre saw rajaan as well pin really nice person gave me best wishes for my test but unfortunately I failed but my wish came true to meet him
5:50 In a drive-thru (private property) it's okay to get a little closer to the vehicle in front of you so there's enough space for all cars. He did well here. Wouldn't get too close though, as I've seen accidents happen with people who grab the order and accidentally let go off the brake and roll backwards.
@@SimGTAandCOD how can you say it should have been a minor when you know very little about the incident. There could have been a car on the roundabout next to him when he left and wasn't aware of it.
I passed one month ago with two minors after watching your videos and doing the ultimate driving course. I would definitely recommend. Also doing things like drive through, petrol and car washes would have been so so helpful to me.
Thank you Pin for your videos! I was able to pass today and a lot of it is because of watching your videos. Thank you for the work you do and the help you provide to all the learners out there!
I have watched all your driving lesson and I took my test today and passed with only 4 minors, thank u very much for making the videos, it's helpd out a lot. Knowing what your doing before u go out for a lesson, and I only had 15 hours of lessons. Keep up the good work
Is your daughter old enough to drive yet? Remember seeing a video of you teaching her when she was about 10 I think. Would be great to see you teach her
Good video. I wish I’d had the chance to do this sort of thing before I had my test, then again Drive In’s and the like weren’t invented 46 years ago 😂
I’ve done most things like filling up with petrol etc but McDonald’s drive thru, I’m waiting til I’ve passed. Sad but gotta have something to look forward to x
Hey pun, might be a tricky question, i always wanted to learn to drive which will happen when im 17, is it okay if I pull over if im having issues with anxiety which may trigger my tics, also if im autistic and i need to calm down, thank you and cant wait to hear from you. Your an awesome instructor and i wish you, your family and the people your instructing the best of luck.
what the literal fuck? *here in the states, you drive as the instructor says, I’ve never heard of a learner under a test driving through a literal drive through and ordering food* 🤣🤣🤣🤣
U would make me laugh too much.. I've just failed.. First attempt about 30mins ago.. I'm convinced she just didn't like me.. Clearance 3 minors so I got a serious.. Driving to close to parked cars... ROBBED!!

Lol my instructor did that all the time without me asking. He mugged me off so bad it’s tragic, you’re lucky you got a good one
Hope to see the back passengers in future videos when they start driving 😁

The kids done so well in the back bless them...super cute 😂
The kids helped simulate it well by changing their order as he was at the window 😂
I think I may have missed the point of this video, because the highlight for me was Roman's medical advice for treating brain-freeze. 😆
LOL, that made me laugh when I saw it afterwards

I passed a year ago and still not been through a drive thru. One time I had the opportunity my mate "goes I need the toilet"
Asking what everybody wants when you're at the window! Can relate to this haha. Great seeing the extended family👏🏼
@Leonardo vision quest 🤦♂️

the real life scenarios are really useful as a learner! Also the kids in the back are adorable
Passed My Driving test first time Today in Wolverhampton ‼️ Started at the same time as Raaj
Well done on passing your test

Really sorry to hear that, hopefully you got some good feedback and get another test date quickly
Thank you so much 💐
It’s a nice feeling watching this after passing my test . Another great video !
Good spot on the the unoccupied window at the drive through, a lot of people would have goal fixated and joined the queue when they didn't have to.

this is so sweet
Such a funny video, good luck to Rajan!
Passed back in august and I still refuse to use the drive thru 😂😂
What routine do you use when driving to maccies?
Mirror, signal, macnoeuvre 😂
LOL
Just drive up to the ordering point and say all the things you do not want.
I passed second time after making mistake of not looking the left mirror when exit the roundabout, but this course has helped me.
You got failed for that, did you do it more than once?

LOVED this one!
I got my license nearly two years ago and I still stress in drive thrus when their super tight ones 😂
Question: is taking the kids to the drive - through an easy way out for looking after the kids?😂
work smarter not harder
Great video good luck to the kid for his test
This is honestly a good idea .
NO FRIES FOR ME
Really good post - these drive-thrus are normally tight when you go through them.
Good job 👍👍👍. And still good videos there. 🙂
Looooove this 💙👌🏼
Just makes sure he doesn't toss the wrappers out on the pavement as most of these kids do

Brilliant videos ❤, but it's a serious fault before even setting off should the kids not be in booster seats we'll the middle child 😅
Sounds stupid but I’d also show learners how to pump gas and work a car wash because eventually that’s something you’ll have to do as well.
When his driving test?
Imagine BIG SMOKE was in the car, .....WASTED.
was this a lesson on how to go in a drive thru or how to keep your kids quite in the car?
