- Tangalle is home to one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. Not only that, it also has Hirekitiya beach which is famous for surfing in Sri Lanka. Although this country hasn't been visited a lot yet, every extra day we spend here we feel it might be one of the best Asian countries to visit and definitely a great option for your perfect beach, which is exactly what we experienced today, check it out!

Your videos are awesome and so helpful :) My husband and I are leaving for Sri Lanka in 3 days for a month and we are so excited, especially after watching your videos :D We just bought our FIRST drone... the DJI Mavic Pro, and I would like to know how you obtained permission to fly, was it easy? Also, to travel all around the south would you recommend Tangalle as a base and then rent a scooter to travel around? We plan to start in Galle, head around the south then up into Hill Country, then East (Baticaloa up the coast), North (Jaffna) then back to Colombo. Think quite similar to you! any tips or suggestions? Appreciate any advice you have time to give :)

Hello hugo and Noemie, We are loving your vlog!!:-) we are planing a trip to Sri Lanka and you guys have been a huge help so thank you .. it would be great if you could let us know the cost of a few things too, like a glass of wine, beer a meal, moped hire, trips to different places turtle and whale watching, safari / temples.. train and bus fares and the best places to book, if you think it appropriate to include some costs it would be so helpful .

Dear Janey, what a sweet message! Thanks for commenting, we always love to help out where we can. We rarely drink but our mojito's were 500 IDR, meals differ from 400 - 1500 (or more depending how crazy you want to go), scooter hire 1000 on averga, whale watching is quiet expensive, same as temples and cultural things (often $30 a person), safari about $80 for a half day for two people. You can also check out our website as there's plenty of information on it, still updating when we've got time though:

Haha well that is a good question Tom. Just don't take life too seriously I guess.. 😄 We're also tired sometimes but we generally love to vlog so when you love something it makes it easier to do! Plus with comments like yours we get an extra dose of happiness!
