Hi, one of my friend sent me this video. And i’m surprised cuz its my dad who gave you the betel chew. Some days ago dad told me a foreigner came and had a nice chat and he tried one of those. He thought you were in a video call with someone. After saw this video i showed him that video is on youtube. And he was very happy while watching it. We all together enjoyed it. And my dad gave his regards. At the end of the video i saw u donate those goods to a poor woman. Keep up the good work man. Appreciate ❤️

Yes that's true, but he should not be taken advantage of just because he is generous so it's good when some bargains just to get it down to the local price and then tip extra from there. Thank God Sri Lankan didn't over price I'm so happy to see that.

Edit : Apples and oranges are imported to SL so they are expensive in SL. since they use chemicals( from farms to markets here in SL) to protect them ..its good to avoid eating them!

Nice comment of appreciation... FYI apples and oranges are not stored with chemicals... the technology used to store them is called modified atmosphere storage... a cold condition is give from harvesting to consumption so that they do not perish...
The chemical usage to store these fruits is a myth...
Same as apples and oranges come from temperate countries banana gets exported from Sri Lanka to european countries using same technology.....

I remember that Dale Phillip also got into trouble when he was going to try this. It is not for eat actually. But if you really want to try it,the correct way for it is just bite it and spit. You have to do it repeatedly. That's how it should be eaten. I think it is just like a local old version of bubblegum.

Nice, it's also available in India and called paan. There are also many fancy places where they have a variety of paan (I'm sure those are available in Sri Lanka as well).

You need to eat one betel leaf with small part of crushed areca nut (betel nut) and little bit of calcium carbonate paste. This is best combo.
You have consumed large quantity than usual procedure.
