Thank you for posting this. I have been searching 100’s of building plans looking for something to fit my needs and this is it!! The breezeway will connect to a 3 stall barn instead of a garage. It’s perfect. Thank you again!!
I have been in contact with build max, so far pretty good. What I like is they include interior framing materials, doors, windows with the price. We are working on BM1600. Prices for Kentucky is $65-$70k this is for the shell only. No drywall and fixtures etc…
Went through the process, but decided to not buy materials from Buildmax. The pricing on the site wasn’t what they charge. It was going to be between 160k for materials. I had to eliminate certain things to get it down to 98k. But was still over vs my comparable materials list by about $20k. Needless to say I went with sourcing and buying my own materials. We just finished foundation work this week and start framing in a few days. We have a budget of $240k and looks like we will fall with in that but no more the $250k
How much did you spend on your barndominium? What’s the sq ft and bed/bath count? I’m in Nebraska pursuing some land to build on now so I’m curious on what you spent in Kansas
I just saw this video after looking at several others and was very impressed with this concept. This basic plan would work great for us on the property we have chosen in Houston. I needed this to do a master plan for the property. This has been valuable for me already. Thanks for presenting this video! I'll be in contact.
i like how the roof pitch is higher than others. i think it will help you get the most out of the roofing material life span. it also looks like it's sturdy and less like a typical manufactured home.
I just want to know what the framing materials cost 🤷🏻♂️ will be building myself with my cousin who builds for a living. Hate to drop 1,200 on the plans if it's gonna be out of my price range
@@JakeAllen3 since it's a one and done build, as I am 45 and it will be on the farm, I am taking my sweet time w the design. Not in a rush w these interest rates and material costs anyway. Looking at a 60x80 build which included the garage. So long story short, not really lol
I would need to check with my husband, but we had them quote it for us adding board and batten metal siding ( little more) and believe it was between $150,000 and 160 ( could be off a bit) That includes interior wood. we figure it’ll be about $350,000 to 400 finished (that is spending about 60,000 on land)
Does black make a house attack heat? We live in Georgia so it’s hot and humid. I know you can insulate it but I just wonder if it would make my a/c work harder.
Hey I live in SC…. I have been shopping around for plans and I’ve noticed that none the homes have steps…can you get it designed with front steps to the porch?
How much for the same layout in steel but with one of the garages being a rv garage..I have 10 acres in Tonopah,Az and I wanted to get a house build on it soon but need a rough estimate so I can have some knowledge of what Iam looking at.. thanks
We are looking to build a barndominium in SE Colorado. I tried the link to "find your barndominium builder" but it did not work. Said the page could not be found. Any other options for finding a builder?
It actually is a loaded question. This is a 3D rendering, and with this finish out the cost can depend upon the area that you live in. For instance, California costs are more expensive than Texas' costs. Instead of being a troll, you can ask how much it would potentially cost in your area that you live in, and you could have a better idea of cost. It's that simple.
That walk in closet in the bathroom ruined this plan. Putting your clothing in a high moisture area is just asking for trouble with mold and mildew. Been there done that and will never live in another house with a clothing closet in the bathroom. The clothing you wear regularly isn't the issue. Its the seasonal stuff like winter coats, sweaters, etc. Stuff you hang up and leave for months on end until you need it again. Edit: Did some digging on the original website. Only one plan has the master closet after the bathroom. A second plan has it before the bathroom. Slightly better but still could be and issue. Then there is a third plan that has the closet splint in two, his and hers, with a short hallway down the middle leading to the bathroom. This is the better approach in my opinion. I will give props for a dedicated mechanical room. Most home designers don't bother to leave any room for mechanical stuff let alone a dedicated room for it.
@@samanimeguy23 I mean you're not wrong. But my house, for example, is 2310sf with a pool and I gave 425k in FL. But I can sell my house and build this barn for 100k less than mine. on some property. Where as if we built a regular house, it'd take longer and end up costing a bit more. not a ton but a little.
I cannot for the life of me find someone to actually do this. It’s been the most painful experience. They’re all literally lazy and can’t follow through except grabbing a beer. It’s truly disgusting.
You wanna know something funny @botasepha??? You can actually click on the link below in the description THAT I TELL IN THE VIDEO so you can actually do that! This just shows that you didn't watch the video and you're attempting to be a troll for no reason.
I've seen some huge and impressive barndos but this one is pretty much perfect! ❤

You're very welcome!
I would make that breeze room wider to put our pool table in it , and the room above the Garage would be our room. Love it!❤
This is the style we are going with.i looked at so many barndos nothing caught our eye.but this is absolutely gorgeous

Same thing I was wondering.
On their website states $18 - $29 per sq ft

Absolutely love this build. Do you have a rough guesstimate on the price per square foot?
Nice design 😎😎
Yes it is!
Very nice. I love the black but would probably go with the white. A black barn in Texas just sounds hot in the summer.
How much does it cost to buy the kit and have it contructed
Can you do a video on the BM3151-G-B floor plan?

What is the color code for the black? Brand etc? Thanks

True, just add one, customize it
Only thing, how do you run cables for security cameras and Internet Access points with no attic

I actually don’t like walking directly into the whole house. Especially into the back of a couch.
Im the same way. The cold draft comes in and changes the temperature too quickly.
Not Really shop. It’s a three car garage. We’ve actually priced this out and are probably going to start building it soon.
If you don’t mind sharing, what did you figure for the cost? And if you’ve started building, how is it going?
