Sara is one of the best and caring dragons their has ever been ❤
I remember working in an e-commerce business a couple of years back and Sara invited the director, me and some of the team up to see the the live studio and watch TV sales in action, as we were going to dip our toe into it. it was amazing to watch. She's didn't need to do that, it says a lot about her!
Sara is our favourite dragon in my house. Professional, approachable and relatable. Bus journey this morning now made ❤
Such a fantastic interview!! One I will listen back to again and again, so much to learn from Sara! You’re amazing Sara! And great job to the interviewers, excellent questions and love how you allow the guest to talk, and ask such good follow up questions, bravo!
The part where she mentioned she realised her confidence in her 30s - absolutely agree. Still young, but now with a decade of adult experience behind you to fuel that confidence. 30s is the best decade
she seems like a bit of a legend. down to earth and lovely, as well as smart and successful I like her style.. nice one Sara.
Amazing! I follow Sara Davies not for being a dragon but being the crafting queen. I was lucky enough to meet her and she is as she says what you see is what you get! She’s my absolute idol x
This chat was just so enlightening for me, Sara speaks a language that really resonated with me, thank you
People from the North East are the lesson in the no ego, love you Sara xxx You are the pioneer of actual change xx
She is electrifying in her energy. Loved this!
An absolute inspiration for business owners.
Love Sara she’s so real and down to earth so humble
Absolutely loved this podcast🤩 Sara is such an inspiration 🙂
Loved tuning in! Thank you for your time Sara 🤎🩶
Great to see a genuine person. Sara has basically said what is wrong with 90% of the public service industry. What we actually need is to send people like her into hospitals, councils etc. Most of them are run so badly, it is a disgrace.
She is incredible. And an inspiration
Love it that you are authentic! And yes I hate the harsh words that could destroy people, the English can be hyper critical and cynical culturally. Thank you!
A hard working, down to earth leader. I couldn't do what she does; I'm quite emotionally detached from our business but I can see how important it is.
Loved the interview. Sara is such a down to earth women with no pretensions.
Realy enjoyed this one. Sara comes across as very genuine and sincere. Particularly enjoyed the part around giving feedback
Sara Davies is my favourite - straight talking while remaining warm and kind.
Love this interview a truly wonderful lady x
Sara is the definition of “I’m not mad, I’m just very disappointed”.
Hearing your mum or anyone say that to us when we were kids (or even adults lol) hurts massively!
She doesn’t need to shout and “show teeth”, but just needs to speak normally and give off an “I’m disappointed” vibe.
I admire this lady so much. AMAZING!
I just loved it to hear when entrepreneurs/bosses say things like, oh we gotta take care of our staff, we gotta see them thrive etc along these lines... many big companies are after profits that they often do a tradeoff with people feelings and well being
Love Sara. Such a nice person.
I honestly don't know why I bothered to watch this. Although I used to watch Sara Davies on Create and Craft, she wasn't my favourite demsonstrator. How quickly you can change your mind about someone never ceases to amaze me and after watching this I wish I could go back and appreciate her more. What an amazing person she is. I still don't know why I bothered to watch this but I'm really glad I did. All the very best to you, Sara, and thank you for doing this interview.
What an amazing inspirational person she is ❤
Looking and sounding good Sara Davies. I always enjoy watching you on Dragons' Den. It is a great spin and give us a different take from Shark Tank. Both great shows!💖
I love Sara Davies. 13:45 this is EXACTLY what i feel like, it's like people have a hidden meaning
What a remarkable, brilliant business leader! Wish I had worked for more like her.
Great interview,seems a cracking lass 👍👍👍👍
Bloody good insightful interview. Always liked Sara always very professional & humble no ego about in any manner like u see from the other dragons. She also gives out very good advice doesn't bullshit anyone. A true inspiration
Sarah is such an incredible woman, love how real she is.
I needed this podcast today and would love to have a one to one with both Sara and her life coach. ❤
She is absolutely brilliant
Sara has always impressed me as the most "real" Dragon on the show. With that unfiltered accent and the way she interacts with the people giving their pitches it's obvious there is not an ounce of bullshit coming out of her mouth. This interview was excellent and validated what I had always believed . Bloody brilliant Sara from a Yank across the pond
My goodness Sara sure needs to be where she is I have always thought she was a great genuine person and she is and that’s hard to come by these days ❤
Sara love you ❤
Sara davies is real. she looks much better without make-up
.. do you think she’s not wearing makeup here?
Love Sara, she is a lovely lady BUT Fiercely good at her job! Nothing wrong with being nice. She is and has always been my fav dragon!
Hi guys ! 👋😎 I must comment that this woman Sarah Davies is a phenomenal female & business woman.
She speaks with genuine authenticity, with passion, and integrity of how to assist and support those that are self driven & passionate about their dreams of success.👌👀
Sara is quality! Great watch!
Love you Sara. you are such a legend.
Sara has been my favourite dragon from when she joined the den 💖
I know I’m being a negative Nancy but everyone always says how relatable and down to earth she is but it seems far from it as in she comes from a family with money, married an high power exec, it wasn’t like a rags to riches tale. Don’t get me wrong she’s clearly very intelligent and achieved more than most people ever will but it doesn’t seem like it was a down to earth humble beginning. The accent gives the humble impression really.
She’s brilliant, shes not a posh talking smarmie know it all, shes normal and relatable. The people’s dragon.
Got to love Sara❤
About 20 years ago I bought something off QVC & it was crap & I have never bought anything off any other TV shopping channel since !
Sarah is just LOVELY
I tend to think that if you don’t have even a small inkling of imposter syndrome, you’re not truly in a growth position. In other words, when you’re pushing yourself to learn, take on new challenges, or expand your skills, it’s natural to feel a bit out of your depth. This feeling is often a sign that you're stretching beyond your comfort zone and growing as a result. Without that discomfort, you might not be striving for meaningful progress.
Wonderful lady
Sarah has such a great energy and personality. I have observed that a couple of people on morning live feel a bit threatened by her confidence and personality I am not mentioning any names but I hope she realises this. It's quite clear to see from their body language. I really got a lot from listening to Sarah she keeps it real and I love her homesty
Sara is great ignore negative comments
I don't think she needs to worry about being a "bad mother"because shes not there for sports days sometimes or a nativity play because being a parent thats present and attentive to their kids is about way more than that. There are plenty of parents who aren't as busy or organised or aware of what their kids needs are who do not give their kids the time and attention they need and quality time when they are together
I used to care for a family member who watched QVC religiously. I would sit there and endure that nightmare - especially that Julia Roberts woman who thought she ran the whole thing.
I never bought a thing..neither did the person I cared for, and she had her debit card at the ready daily. These people aren't that great.
Interesting about the producers wanting her to be 'less nice', the recent series of Dragon's Den are far better precisely because there is a nicer vibe throughout all the Dragons. I don't want to watch people get bullied for an hour, I want to see great, inspiring success stories.
I really recommend her book, she's a force of nature making things happen. Down to earth, realistic and utterly determined.
@readmycomment3157 Thanks, I was not aware that Ms Sara has written a book... will find her book.
1:01:41 "When your life is over, what joy would you like to experience?" ... Huh?
I haven’t watched dragon’s Den in Years. She seems to be a lot better dragon, but in fairness that isn’t hard by itself.
You should give it a go, it's not as nasty as it used to be, the Dragons are all nice unless someone is rude or basically lies about their business's success. They all have their own useful strengths as well
She seems to be a beautiful soul
Sara is great!
Amazing lady and business woman.
loved the conversation. great guest and great outcome. however, he thumbnail ... a bit misleading, isn't it?
She looks great ❤
I never really trust Dragons den or know whether they actually end up investing in the businesses we see.I mean they never do follow ups and apart from Levi Roots and maybe a few others I cannot think of anyone else who we know has made a successful business after being invested in by a dragon.
Why don't they ever do follow ups or talk about what happened on those businesses and whether they were successful or not.
I really can't help but think it's all just staging
Wow she looks fantastic xx
She looks healthier now
Northern lass done well
COMPETITION, DESIRES, AND FAILURES.
Sara 37minutes in 👌
Please don’t promote Huel, the ingredients are awful!
WoW ... im 2 minutes in and shes making cry
I gotta say they are the most uncomfortable looking chairs I’ve ever seen
Not take anything away from Sarah. But can you give Gary Neville some tips on how to promote Huel 😂😂
Sarah is proof that you don't have to be a dragon to be a Dragon.
Lots of good advice, however was it wise to say that she was the best in the world at selling crap products? Gerald Ratner sprang to mind as soon as she said it.
Craft products
@@gailcusden3607oh my word,! Thanks for putting me straight, I was disappointed in her comment, so I’m so glad that I had actually misheard, sorry Sara
i am 8 mins in . i have just heard she judges people in 3 mins and is always right and suffered from imposter bias in everything she has done so far so wouldnt help herself if she went through the dragons door lol .
Where does the gossip start?
Wow she looos great
I didn't understand why 'strictly' was the biggest opportunity of her life??? That made no sense did I miss something...she was already self-made very wealthy by then, wtf?
I love Sara but I couldn't help being distracted by your low-budget set - the chairs have damaged fabric and look really uncomfortable; the plastic plants need dusting, and I'm still trying to figure out if that's rising damp creeping up the wall behind Sara.
Wheres the Deborah meadon story - not listening to all of this
Around 58:30, it’s click bait to be honest, not a negative story at all.
I've never understood topping and toeing a bed. I'd rather my face be closer to the persons face than to their feet.
Lovely Sara! Inspirational
Why is the guy on the left sitting so close and holding a bloody note book taking notes? That has to be the most pointless and intimidating set up I’ve ever seen in the whole of podcasting… why? Why? Why? just sit further away and listen and also.. ask some decent questions like the other guy. Feel he doesn’t bring anything to these discussions.
Bizarre, that's what you focused on and decided to write a long paragraph on. Didn't even cross my mind. Who cares it's about the guest
We all work differently. If Jake finds it better to rely on his memory, and Damian prefers to write notes, so that they can both ask well-informed questions, then they're doing what works for them.
Why why why do you give a shit 😅
He actually referred back to his notes within the body of the interview and the Q&A at the end, asking some very good questions, plus from a lot of interviews I've done where the note book or minutes have had a big visual presence, and the panel have commented on it to put participants at eases it's nice to see its use in this way too, so it becomes a normal practice.
How the hell is she looking younger
❤
Every time I have ever seen and hear a high pitch sales channel I switch off straight away.I can’t stand the BS products. 😂
Seriously though, what’s the point of the guy on the left?
I like her but a couple of times she doesn’t even answer the question 😂 Just starts waffling about something else.
If David Brent were female...
She is full of all the Corporate buzz words that drive people mad in Business. Similar to the saying there is no I in Team, My answer to that is no there is not but there is an M and an E lol.
Deborah needs to shut up, she's worth around 50 million. Which is a lot of money, but in terms of big business ppl it's a pittance. She acts like she's got peter jones money.
Listening to her was excruciating..I've never heard such a narcissistic, self centered arrogant person rant. ..She is NOT high performance..
Dam good interview lads.
What a happy comment from happy days 🙄
I’m curious about what interview you watched? 😂 it’s an interview about her so of course she’s going to talk about herself, no? 🤔
I think it's gone completely over your head. She's not arrogant she's confident, I guess some people find that threatening in women?
Who cares about a stupid program about the lion den it’s so ship
Talks at length about how nice she is - then basically admits she's not there for her friends who are at their lowest ebb, referring to them as energy vampires. Nice? Not in my book. I rather liked her before, but she comes across in this interview as a narcissistic and ruthless attention seeker. Loves the TV limelight (how many times she talks about Strictly, name drops the BAFTAs) at the expense of her kids, husband's career - and I'm sure that's just the tip of the iceberg. Disappointing.
She cried on dragons den? She said she doesn’t cry in front of people…
She strikes me as a talking ego. She really thinks she’s wonderful.
Great with her business but she aint that great ot TV presenting and she would I suspect be
boring company.
And I bet you Denise Peters who stupidly uses their birthday in their username, would be absolutely scintillating conversation wouldn't you?! Slagging people off you don't know, laugh a minute you! 🙄🫣
Such a long boring interview
